"Well," Persephone began, tone slightly colder than she intended,"now that she's gone, I can do whatever I want."
She took her time, walking toward Ginny slowly, deliberately, expression unreadable.
Persephone was determined to put an end to the jealousy bubbling within her, and what better way to confront it than by addressing the person who had stirred those feelings in the first place?
Ginny, still lying on the bed, frowned in confusion, her brows knitting together. "What do you mean?" she asked cautiously.
Persephone didn't answer right away. Without warning, she leaned down, pinning Ginny gently against the bed as she hovered slightly over her. Ginny let out a surprised squeak, her eyes widening as she looked up at her.
"Are you toying with me, Green?" her voice was firm, blue eyes narrowing as she held Ginny's gaze.
Ginny blinked rapidly, her cheeks flushing. "I-I don't know what you're talking about," she stammered.
