After everything, Persephone continued her day as usual. Her team almost won the Treasure Hunt, she and Ariel were starting to get along again, and she had the chance to hang out with Ginny and some of their friends at the campfire by the shore.
Everything seemed fine—except for Natalie's odd behavior toward Ginny. It was new, and Persephone couldn't ignore it. She knew Natalie harbored feelings for her best friend, but it seemed like Ginny wasn't aware of it.
What baffled her was the timing. Natalie had years of opportunities to confess her feelings, long before Persephone entered the picture, yet now she was suddenly showing them in subtle ways.
Why now?
