The sun was high in the sky, casting a golden glow over the turquoise waves. As they lay peacefully on the sand, Ginny glanced at Natalie, who was effortlessly glowing in her bikini. She couldn't help but admire how all of Natalie's hard work had paid off—her friend was definitely bikini-body ready.
In contrast, Ginny was clad in their school's designated swimsuit, a one-piece with the school logo emblazoned on it. She preferred the modest attire, hoping it would keep her from drawing too much attention like her best friend had been experiencing since they stepped foot on the beach. Natalie had been approached by guys repeatedly, her initial amusement quickly turning to annoyance, which Ginny found funny.
Natalie noticed Ginny's lingering gaze and smiled. "Why are you looking at me like that? Do you find me pretty?" She batted her lashes flirtatiously, causing Ginny to snort.
