As they arrived at the first aid station, the school nurse, Mrs. Honey, greeted them with a disapproving frown. "The school activities haven't even started yet, and someone's already injured?" she scolded, shaking her head. "What on earth were you kids doing?"
Ginny winced at the nurse's tone, but Persephone spoke up. "It was an accident, Mrs. Honey. We were just playing beach volleyball."
Mrs. Honey sighed, examining Ginny's nose with a practised eye. "Well, you'll live, but you need to rest. No strenuous activities for the rest of the day. That means skipping the Treasure Hunt."
Ginny's heart sank at first because she couldn't hang out with her friends, but then she realised skipping the Treasure Hunt wasn't such a bad idea. "Really? I can't participate?" she asked, trying not to sound too hopeful.
