Cierra's heart leapt into her throat, what if too much time had gone by? Concentrating, she thought back on what Fer Benn had done with the rain the first time she met him. She just needed to go back a little further.
"Ahh!" Her head felt like it was splitting open.
She tapped into her power and rewound time backwards, undoing the damage that had been done to Cid's body. Cierra opened her eyes, body glowing. As the flow of time reversed, Cierra watched as Cid's body floated gently back up to the surface of the water, unharmed and healed. Only when he was standing back at the mouth of the waterfall did she stop, collapsing into the water herself.
Cid wasted no time in coming to her side.
She looked up at Cid, relieved to see him alive and well, and smiled weakly. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
