Vincent gazed upon the beautiful face in front of him and thought to himself, 'How much longer was she going to keep up with this act.' He gently lifted her hands and slightly lowered his head to politely leave a feathery kiss on the back of her, but his eyes never lowered its gaze, he chuckled while straightening his sleeves and said, "You are still as stunning as ever, my lovely Lady Silfa."
"No need for these honorifics, just address me as Cordelia.", Cordelia said with a charming smile on her red painted lips. "and You will be joining us for the games, right?", she asked.
"Of course, my representative will be joining, I will just be a spectator today in your delightful company, if, you won't mind, Lady Cordelia.", Vincent said with an equally charming smile.
Cordelia just smiled and lifted her tiny, bedazzled binoculars to watch the aerial shooting match, 'I can be sure of the fact that she can see all the fine details even without that thing…', He thought and turned his focus to the match.
Currently we were standing in a private box on the second floor in an open roof stadium hall. The stadium had an artistic architect, made from scratch with rugged white stones and tall smooth marble pillars, it had four gateways guarded by humongous twin warrior statues each, they were the ancient relics which guarded the fairness within a match. These gateways led up to the arena, which was floating on a deep-water pool, and this pool in particular had something very creepy about it, it is said no participant would ever want to fall into its depths.
Today, more than a dozen players from various parts of Alecia, ventured into this friendly aerial match, where your only weapon is a crossbow and the speed, agility and tactic understanding you have with your elemental familiar. The rules in this match are very simple, the participant would have to score points by targeting random ever changing lumin balls which has ability to shape shift into various small and ferocious creatures. Here, you would not only have to defend against the lumin balls which were total fifty in number, but also defend against fellow participants, who are free to eliminate you from this match.
