Zach's POV.
Part two.
The interior was dark with only a few flickering lights, illuminating the surroundings. I had to strain my eyes in order to see my way around.
Hesitantly I stepped forward into the barely lit room. I made extra care to not make a sound.
After a few feet I was able to hear voices of some people around the upcoming corner. They were talking about random shit just like the two out fronts were.
I moved my hand behind my back taking out my knife once again.
As I neared them a horrible smell assaulted my nostrils. A smell that I was all too familiar with but not one that I thought I would ever smell here.
The Smell of dead decomposing bodies.
A lot of them.
I hesitantly turned the corner and noticed that the guards were wearing gas masks to block out the smell. I was curious as to how they were unaffected by the smell.
This was it.
My knife was ready, and my mind was numb to the killing. I moved in through the thick haze of decomposing body smoke and plunged my knife into the forehead.
"GAh-." He died almost instantly.
However, his partner heard his last breath and looked over towards him. I was standing in his place holding his dead friend.
"You bastard!"
He screamed and pulled out his gun, pointing it at me. I didn't freeze nor falter I looked him dead in the eyes.
"Do it. I dare you." I spoke.
His hand started to shake and sweat fell down his brow. He had just lost, and he didn't even know it yet.
I slowly walked forward making sure to never leave his sight. He was too scared to even move or pull the trigger.
I get right next to him and whisper.
"Sorry, but you lost." I then plunge my knife up through his chin and into his brain killing him.
I feel the blood trickle down my arm, it's warm and the scary thing is, it's not entirely unpleasant.
'When did I become so used to blood and killing.' I thought as I continued on my way.
There were a few more guards walking around, patrolling and I took care of each of them with ease. I couldn't help but think that I saw a lot of guards and not a lot of drugs or weapons which concerned me.
What concerned me was the fact that I had been killing their guys for a while and no one had alerted any alarms, nor have they even found their bodies.
It's like they don't care about them at all.
"What the hell is going on." I mumbled out loud.
After I spoke, I immediately knew that I should have kept my thoughts to myself. As a guard walked by right that second.
"Intruder!" He yelled and immediately pulled his gun on me.
"Freeze, hands in the air! NOW!" He yelled.
Luckily, I was wearing a mask so he couldn't see my face. I wanted to find the main man behind the trafficking, so I complied with his demands and put my hands up in the air.
The sooner that he took me to his boss, the sooner that I could gather hard core evidence and then be done with my mission.
Or so I thought.
"Kill him." A voice rang out over the man's walkie talkie.
"A Fuck." I spoke.
Things just got even more complicated.
