The thing then exited through the dark energy string and absorbed quite the amount of Morsh's dark energy when it took its form,
'So, it uses dark energy to take it's form'
The thing was soul of the women, and it took form of the women with dark energy,
"So, it's like necromancy.... does that mean I can create my own army"
The other captives started shaking with fear when they saw the woman's figure made up of dark energy. They had never seen anything like it before, and they were terrified.
They backed away from the woman, their eyes wide with terror.
Morsh called back the dark energy women and looked at the other captives and said,
"Oh, free soldiers..."
Morsh then splits the end of the dark string and sent each end to each captive,
Everyone in the cage engulfed in a dark energy and after some seconds the dark energy returned with their souls,
Morsh's soul further strengthened, and he got some farming skills, woodcutting skills and basic forging skills,
Morsh said,
"This is great... my soul is strengthening and I am learning free techniques"
The little girl peeked from behind the dead bodies of the captives frightened,
She has hiding behind a man all this time so Morsh didn't notice her when he sent the dark energy on the captives,
Morsh noticed the little girl and said,
"I wonder what a little dark soldier looks like"
Morsh then sent the dark energy towards the little girl, engulfing her body in dark energy,
After couple of seconds, the dark energy returned with the soul of the little girl and her body simply fell on the floor,
Morsh was surprised. He had expected to gain skills from the dark energy, but instead, his soul had been strengthened. And not just a little bit, but way more than from the adult's soul.
"I didn't get any skills, but my soul strengthened more than the adult ones"
"So do I have to hunt Childrens now??"
"Nah first I will check how much I can get strong by other creatures, then I will hunt the one which gives me most dark energy"
Morsh looked around the camp and saw at most 15 bandits and the other carriage with captives,
He then splits the end of dark energy and spread around the whole camp but left the Boss's tent,
"I will hunt that boss of this place myself"
After couple of minutes everyone except the boss in his tent simply fell and died,
Morsh's soul strengthened quite a bit with all of the souls,
Soon the night fell and Morsh took control over the body, and the sleeping potion in the body was absorbed by the dark energy and he woke up.
"So, the dark energy also absorbs potions "
After the sleeping potion was completely absorbed by dark energy, Morsh could feel that he got another skill after absorbing the sleeping potion,
"Hmmm... did I just get a skill or something after absorbing the sleeping potion"
Morsh than took out the took out the thing he got from the sleeping potion and a black smoke formed in his hand,
"Now who should I test this smoke now..."
Morsh than looked around and saw the boss's tent,
"Looks like you will be my guinea pig"
Morsh released the smoke in the boss's tent, but after couple of minutes waiting, no voice could be heard from inside the tent,
He approached the tent and peeked inside and saw a middle aged bald buff guy sleeping,
"Hmm so he was sleeping..."
Morsh stood near the boss and puts his hand on his chest and felt the dark smoke inside of him,
"Hmm... what is the effect of the dark smoke?? "
Morsh then took out all the dark smoke out of the boss's body,
"Let's see what happens when I take out the dark smoke out of his body"
The boss wakes up as soon as the dark smoke gets out of his body,
The boss looked around and saw Morsh standing there, and jumped back and grabbed his sword from the table close to his bed.
"Who are you?" he demanded, his voice trembling.
Morsh looked at the boss quietly while thinking,
'So the smoke have the properties of the potion '
Morsh then spread out the dark smoke inside of the tent,
The boss looked around frightened when he saw the dark smoke coming out of Morsh's body and said,
"Hey, let's talk things out... we do not have to do this "
He then shouted,
"Men.... You idiots where are you... there is an intruder in my tent"
No one replied, then Morsh said,
"All of your men are already dead, and dead don't reply "
The boss's face turned red with anger, his eyes looked like they were going to pop out. He was so angry that he was shaking.
"How dare you!" he shouted. "Do you know who I am? I'm the boss here!"
Morsh stood calmly in front of the boss. He was not afraid.
The dark smoke has already spread inside the tent and boss could feel his eyes becoming heavy and heavy,
He said while falling sleeping and looking at Morsh,
"Who are... "
Before he could finish the sentence, he fell asleep on the ground,
Morsh searched him,
"Let's see if you got anything useful for me"
Morsh found a pouch filled with gold and silver coins,
"Woah, so this world is using gold and silver as a currency, there are 15 gold and 12 silver coins in this pouch"
Morsh looked at the sleeping boss and said,
"You will be answering some of my questions "
Morsh grabbed the boss's sword form his hand and said,
"And you only need your mouth to answer me"
Morsh lifted the sword high up in air and with four slashes he cuts down the boss's hands and legs,
Blood splattered everywhere from his severed limbs,
Morsh said,
"At this rate, he will die of blood loss before answering me, and it is kind of impossible to get information out of a dead body"
Morsh then looked around the tent and saw a closet and said,
"He has to have something to save his life at a critical moment"
Morsh opened the closet and found a plain wooden box and couple more gold, silver and copper coins,
"This guy collected quite the amount of gold coins"
Morsh looked at the box and opened it, He found potions lined up, each row with different colour potions and said,
"Now how would I find the healing one here...."
Morsh picked up bottle of green potion and said,
"Green was always for healing for most of the games I played in earth so let's hope this also applicable here"
Morsh then absorbed the potion with dark energy and got the power of the potion then he released the dark smoke of that power and engulfed the boss with it,
"It's all depends on your luck, if this was a healing potion or something else"
The blood stopped flowing and skin started growing at the points where the legs and hands were decapitated,
"Looks good, now he won't be able to run away"
Morsh than thought,
'I need some kind of name for these skills'
'Let's call it dark healing smoke'
Morsh then took out all the sleeping smoke out of the boss's body,
Boss was pale due to the blood loss, but when the smoke gets out of his body completely, he opened his eyes slowly,
Morsh said,
"You are taking my precious time, I don't want to spend my night with you "
The boss was confused when he heard this but when he saw Morsh's face he quickly tried to grab his sword but didn't feel anything,
"Huh"
The boss then looked around and saw blood everywhere and his legs and hands lying on the floor,
He went blank when he turned to see his hands and legs for some time,
A scream came out from his mouth as he felt a massive amount of pain throughout his body,
"Ahhhhhhh...."
Morsh puts his hands on his ears and said,
"Hey, don't shout, I only cut your hands and legs, your head is still there"
The boss quieted down after some time then looked at Morsh and said,
"Why are you doing this to me.? what have I ever done to you "
Morsh said,
"Do I have to wait for you to do something to me.? "
"Well, I only did this, so you won't run and answer properly"
The boss couldn't even say anything when he heard this,
After some time, he started crying and said,
"You did all of this so I don't run away... you could have tied me down"
Morsh said,
"Well yeah I could have tied you down, but it would take some time to find something to tie you up and the sword was literally in front of me"
The boss looked at Morsh while crying but didn't say anything,
Morsh then asked,
"So, tell me where are we"
The boss said,
"We are in a forest"
Morsh kicked the boss's face and said,
"I can tell that we are in a forest, I am asking where exactly we are or how far are we from nearby city or village"
The boss said,
"We are couple of miles east from a small village called Doro "
Morsh than came close to the boss and said,
"See it's not that hard to answer my questions, now it's time for you to die"
The boss was dumbfounded when he heard this,
"You killed all my gang and cut down my hands and legs just to ask for directions"
Morsh replied,
"Well how else I was supposed to ask for directions from some rundown criminals"
The boss didn't say anything but just put his head down,
Morsh looked at the potions and said,
"Hey one last question, what are these potions"
Boss looked at the box and said,
"Black one is a poison, green one is healing potion and the blue one is paralyzing poison"
Morsh nodded and absorbed the potions with dark energy while also engulfing the boss with dark energy,
After some seconds the potions were absorbed and the boss's soul was also absorbed,
Morsh got some basic sword skill that he already has so his skill strengthened a little,
Morsh than said,
"Hmm... I can further absorb the souls... let's try by absorbing one"
Morsh closed his eyes and absorbed the soul of the boss,
As Morsh's soul strengthened, so did his body. The dark energy was coursing through his veins, giving him new power and vitality.
"Hmm... I guess when I take control of the body, I strengthen this body too when I absorb soul"
"I will have to absorb soul when I am not in control of this body"
Morsh felt his muscles growing stronger and his bones becoming denser. His skin became tougher and his hair became thicker.
Morsh cloths were torn while the body was strengthened as muscles grew,
"Looks like strengthening this body going to take some time"
After couple of seconds of muscle strengthening, a large amount of pain suddenly arose from all over his body,
"What's happening"
Morsh than fell on the ground with pain as his body started to grow,
After four hours, the pain finally subsided and Morsh stood up and realized that he has grown muscles and also became tall, Morsh said,
"Looks like this body became tall and muscles grew because the boss was a warrior trained with sword"
Morsh looked at his fully torn clothes and said,
"I need to find new clothing for me before heading to the town"
Morsh than looked around the camp and found clothing his size in a tent,
He wore the cloths and took the gold, silver and copper coins then said,
"It's time to head to the village.... It's midnight now so I guess I will have to reach the village before Pete took over the body"
Morsh than packed some spare cloths and the boss's sword with him then he dashed towards the village,
After two hours he saw a fairly big village at some distance as he was using night vision and said,
"Now let's see if this village have some sort of hotel or not"
