Realization dawn upon Pete when he looked up the notice board and he said,
"I can't read this world's language "
Pete then looked toward the young girl and said,
"I can't read, so can you tell me what's written here "
The young girl smiled and said,
"Yes, Of Course I can help you with that, there are many adventurers who can't read so we have receptionist like me in every branch for this "
Morsh said,
"Pete this girl is scamming you "
Pete said,
"No, she's not I am just tipping her for her hard work "
Morsh said,
"Listen Pete, you have only 5 silvers left, and I need these for my registration for mercenary guild "
Pete said in an arrogant way,
"Hey this is my money so I can do anything with it "
Morsh thought,
'So, this guy is stupid and arrogant... this is not a good combo'
Morsh said,
"Ok do as you wish, I will do as I wish from now on "
Pete said,
"I am not stopping you from doing anything "
The young girl was looking at Pete with strange expression and said,
"Who are you talking to.? "
Pete smiled then looked at the young girl's eyes and said,
"I was just trying to figure out your name as it must be as beautiful as you"
The young girl looked at Pete with plain expression when she heard this and thought,
'He is loaded with money and that's the only thing I like about him "
She then coldly said,
"Why didn't you just asked, it's not a secret you know... My name is Rosy "
Pete cleared his throat and said,
*Ahem*
"Would you mind telling me about the quest"
Rosy nodded and said,
"Your current rank is iron so you can only accept the iron rank quests"
Pete asked with a curios tone,
"How many ranks are there"
Rosy said,
"There are five ranks of adventurers iron, bronze, silver, gold and platinum"
Pete asked,
"So which rank is highest "
Rosy thought,
'He is also stupid'
Rosy said with a cold expression,
"The Titanium rank is the highest "
Pete then nodded and said,
"Thank you, now give me the quest"
Rosy looked through some papers and said,
"The only iron rank quest available now is herb collection "
Pete said,
"Don't you have any subjugation quests.? "
Ruby thought,
'I just said that we only have herb collection '
Ruby said,
"The subjugation quests are only given to adventurers with bronze rank and above"
Pete said,
"So, the only quests available for Iron ranks are herb gathering "
Ruby said,
"No Iron ranks also get other quests like letter delivering and small stuff like that "
Pete said,
"Is there any other way to rank up or accept quests higher rank than yours"
Ruby thought for a moment and said,
"You can join a party of high ranking adventurers for high rank quests and kill monsters and bring their skin, tooth, hair, horns, as a proof, then the guild will rank you up"
Pete asked Ruby,
"How can I join a party "
Ruby said,
"Parties have different criteria as to join some parties you have to only persuade their leader and for some parties you have to persuade every member of that party "
Pete thought,
'I will make my own party of beautiful women '
Pete then said,
"How can you make your own party "
Ruby said,
"You need 3 adventurers for an official party "
Pete thought,
'Hmm looks like I have to search for the girls which will join my harem '
Pete looked at Ruby and said,
"Ok I will come back with adventurers to form a party "
Pete then turned around and left the adventurers building,
After some time walking aimlessly in the village, Pete started to feel hungry,
"I should eat something"
Pete then asked someone in the street for the direction of someplace he can eat,
Morsh said,
"You already paid for the food in the inn, why are you spending extra "
Pete said,
"I am hungry, and the inn is too far "
Morsh said,
"It's not that far "
Pete arrogantly said,
"Hey, don't tell me what to do "
Morsh smiled while thinking,
'He is too naive, it's going to be easy to manipulate him '
After couple of minutes of walking Pete arrived in front of the restaurant,
"Hmm... let's try this world's cuisines "
Pete entered the building and saw many tables full of people and he then sat down on a table at side,
A woman in her late 30s came to Pete and asked,
"What you would like to order "
Pete looked at the women and was bewiled by her appearance and said,
"What's most expensive here "
The women smiled and said,
"The most expensive here is roasted deer meat with banana bear and would cost you 6 copper "
Pete took out a silver coin and gave it to the woman and said,
"The rest is your tip "
The women smiled and said,
"Thank you sir, I will be right back with your order"
Pete nodded and the woman left,
After couple of minutes, the women arrived with Pete's food,
Pete ate and left the restaurant and headed toward the inn,
"That was good, I will eat that again"
Morsh said,
"Hey, you spend most of the money and we didn't have enough for my registration in mercenary guild "
Pete said,
"Don't worry I am an adventurer now and I will earn this much in no time "
Morsh thought,
'Hmm... joining the mercenary guild feels boring now'
Morsh said,
"Ok if you say so "
It was evening when Pete reached the inn and when he entered the old man said,
"Oh, you have returned, what would you like to eat "
Pete said,
"I have already eaten so I will be resting for a while "
The old man was surprised when he heard this and thought,
'Huh this guy negotiated like hell for a room but spending money on food when he already paid me in advance.?? "
Pete then opened the door of his room and lied down on the bed and said,
"Hey Morsh, why are not sleeping on day "
Morsh said,
"I can't sleep after you killed the bandit "
Pete was so shocked that he stood up with lightning speed and said,
"What do you mean I killed the bandit "
Morsh smiled and said,
"You are testing me again right "
Pete said in a frustrating voice,
"Just tell me what you meant by I killed the bandit "
Morsh said,
"You killed the bandit and took his money "
Pete dropped to his knees and started crying and said while looking at his hands,
"I killed someone "
Morsh said,
"Yeah, you killed him in front of his daughter "
Pete started crying more and more and said,
"What happened to his daughter "
Morsh smiled sinisterly and said,
"I can't even say what you did to a 7 year old girl "
Pete eyes opened wide with a horrified expression, and he asked with a trembling voice,
"What are you saying "
Morsh was smiling but said in sobbing way,
"I don't want to remember the face of the girl while she was dying "
"I was stopping you, but you were not even answering me, why did you do that "
Pete started trembling and said,
"It was not me "
Morsh sad angrily,
"What do you mean by It was not you after doing something that even monsters won't do "
Pete was still trembling and crying but said,
"I don't remember anything after meeting with those bandits "
Morsh said,
"You are still testing me... you make me sick, how can a guy like you be a hero "
Pete said,
"I am telling the truth, I don't remember anything after those bandits put the cloth in my face"
Morsh said,
"You want me to believe that "
Pete realized something and said,
"It must be some power that I can't control now "
Morsh said,
"But both time it happened you said you were testing me "
Pete said,
"I didn't want to admit that I didn't remember anything, so I lied"
Morsh thought,
'Let's not drag this, seeing him in this condition is pathetic'
Morsh said,
"So, it was due to the power you can't control... It makes sense now "
Pete calmed down a little when he heard this and said,
"I don't want to use that power again, do you have any ideas "
Morsh said,
"Both times you went unconscious when the power activated, so you must not get unconscious"
Pete stood up and sat on the bed and said while wiping out his tears,
"Yes, I must get strong for that "
Pete then took off his armor and threw it on the floor and said,
"This armor and sword I bought with the money of those bandits, Morsh would you throw them out as its your time to take over the body "
Morsh said,
"Ok I will do that "
Pete then closed his eyes and soon fell asleep,

Morh took over the body, but there was no black aura covered the body like before, so Morsh said,
"So, the black aura engulfing the body was 1 time thing "
Morsh looked at the sword and armor and said,
"What should I do with these "
Morsh thought,
'Can I use dark energy to destroy them'
Morsh then released some dark energy from his hand and the dark energy engulfed the sword and armor,
Even after couple of minutes the sword and armor were completely unharmed,
Morsh said,
"Well, it's to be expected, the dark energy even let the corpses unharmed "
Morsh changed his outfit and used a white cloth as a mask and said,
"I should collect some souls now "
Morsh grabbed the sword and armor and also the sword from the bandit's boss and jumped from the window,
After running couple of minutes, he arrived at a building with hammer and anvil sign board in front,
Morsh opened the door and saw weapons, armor and many other tools,
Morsh walked to the desk and rang the bell,
A middle aged man with a hammer and covered in sweat came from behind the curtains which were behind the desk and said,
"What can I help you with"
Morsh puts the armor and sword on the desk and said,
"I want to sell these "
The blacksmith inspected the sword and armor and said,
"I can give you 1 gold for these "
Morsh said,
"But I paid 4 gold for these "
Blacksmith said,
"These are only for show, so 1 gold is all I can give for these "
Morsh said,
"Give me two gold coins"
The blacksmith said,
"No can't do this much for these "
Morsh said,
"You will upgrade these a little and sell it for no less then 6 gold coins, so I want 3 gold coins for it now "
The blacksmith thought for moment and said,
"Ok I will give you 2 gold for these, either take it or leave"
Morsh looked at the blacksmith and said,
"Ok I will leave "
Morsh grabbed the sword and armor and started walking toward the door,
The blacksmith said,
"Ok I will give you 3 gold "
Morsh turned back and said,
"I want 4 gold for it now "
The blacksmith said,
"You can go I am not giving you this much"
Morsh turned back and puts the sword and armor on the desk and said,
"How about 3 gold and 8 silver coins"
The blacksmith said,
"No still expensive "
Morsh said,
"Final offer, not yours not mine, 3 gold and 5 silver coins "
The blacksmith thought for a moment then nodded and gave Morsh the money,
Morsh gets out of the building and said,
"It's time to collect some good souls "
