After walking for twenty minutes, they get to Lyla's house. Lyla and Winter enter the house and see nothing but darkness. All the lights are off. Lyla switched on the lights.
Lyla: MOM!!
No one answered
Winter: AUNTY KIM!!
Again, there was no response. They start to panic, especially lyla
Winter: Wait, today is Friday. Our moms are probably in my house. Lyla calms down and sighs.
Lyla: Yeah, that's true.
Lyla turns off the light and they both leave the house. They walk for about two minutes and get to Winter's house. This time the lights were on. Winter opens the door. Lyla and Winter enter the living room. Miss Laura and Mrs Kim were sitting on the couch with a serious look on their faces. Lyla and Winter see this and say softly.
Lyla:Mom. Winter: Mom.
They don't answer and because of this, Winter snaps.
Winter: What the heck? Do you know what happened to us?. We were almost killed.
Lyla: What is going on. Who are we?
This time Miss Laura sighs and looks at Mrs Kim. Miss Laura then looks at the girls.
Miss Laura: There is something we have been hiding from you.
Winter and Lyla knew this was coming.
Miss Laura: We are not normal people. We aren't even humans at all.
Winter and lyla knew this, but they were still shocked.
Miss Laura: We are from Etheria.
Suddenly Winter had a flashback.
**FLASHBACK
Winter: (shocked)W..hat are you?
Diem: An Etherian.
****End of flashback.
Winter: (silently) Etheria?
As Winter and Lyla were about to ask what that was, there was a weird sound. Miss Laura and Mrs Kim wrists started glowing.
Mrs Kim and Miss Laura looked at each other, then at the girls.
Mrs Kim: It's time.
Lyla: (confused) Time for what?. You haven't even explained anything yet.
Winter nods still looking shocked and confused. They just ignore Winter and Lyla again. They look at the middle of the room expecting something to happen.
Suddenly a portal appears in the middle of the room.
Winter and lyla: WHAT!!
Lyla: Is... Is that a PORTAL?
Lyla says pointing at the portal.
Mrs Kim: Yes
Winter: Why is there a portal in the middle of the room.
Lyla looks at Winter.
Lyla: The secrets don't stop.
Winter: (sighs) Not being human, having weird powers, coming from another world. Anything else?
Mrs Kim looks at her wrist flashing a persistent colour of blue. She tells Miss Laura silently that the girls can't hear;
Mrs Kim: The King is waiting for us, let's go.
Miss Laura nods and looks at the girls' faces. Shock and confusion is clearly written on their faces.
Miss Laura: Once we pass through this portal, I promise, everything else would be explained.
Winter and Lyla: What... Everything?
The girls look at Miss Laura confused that there is still more. Lyla looks down and thugs her dress.
Lyla: It is going to that place?
Miss Laura looks at Lyla.
Lyla: E.theria right?
Miss Laura: Yes.
Lyla: For you two to have kept these secrets for long, they must be for a good reason.
Lyla pauses.
Lyla: The remaining secrets would change our lives forever, than the ones we already know of.
Mrs Kim looks at her daughter sympathetically.
Mrs Kim:(softly) Ka-... Lyla
Miss Laura: Yes dear it would.
Winter moves towards Lyla, holds her hand and says
Winter: No matter what the secrets are, we will always be family though not related by blood, together and forever.
Lyla: Winter (smiles)
Lyla: Okay. Let's do this.
Miss Laura and Mrs Kim look uncomfortable after what Winter said.
Miss Laura: Okay, let's go.
Lyla and Winter: Hmm-hhh
They all walk through the portal.

ETHERIA KINGDOM
The King, Queen and Princess Corissa are in the private royal chambers. The King, Queen and Princess Corissa are there discussing about royal matters and politics. Suddenly Princess Corissa starts walking around the room.
Corissa: Mother.
She looks at Queen Alouette.
Corissa: Father
She looks at King Felix.
Corissa: When would you declare me as the next heiress of Etheria to the people?
King Felix and Queen Alouette were taken aback by the question. They were thinking of the special arrival and how they would explain it to them. The King and Queen weren't really participating in the discussion of Etheria. That question brought them back to reality.
King Felix bowed his head in sadness after hearing Corissa's question.
Queen: (softly) Corissa.
Corissa couldn't read her parents emotions and thought they were finally proud of her for the first time.
Corissa: Father, take pride in this. Your daughter would be the new heiress of Etheria.
King: Dear Corissa, we have something very important to tell you.
Corissa:(smirks) Yes father.
Corissa was expecting her father to say he was proud of her.
King: You--
Just then, the portal suddenly appears in the room in front of the royals. The King stops talking and everyone focuses on the portal that just appeared. Winter, Lyla, Mrs Kim and Miss Laura step into the room one by one. Corissa wastes no second again, she lungs at them with a flame sword saying,
Corissa: Intruders. How dare you enter the private royal chambers.
Immediately, Queen Alouette stretches her hand uses her plants to shield them. Corissa stops when she sees this.
Corissa: Mother... Why?. Allow me to send them back.
King Felix: (strictly) You would do nothing of that sort. Step back Corissa.
Corissa looks back and says ,
Corissa: Why Father?
King Felix: Because, They... are your... BLOOD SISTERS.
King Felix points at Winter and Lyla. They look at one another in shock.
Corissa, Winter and Lyla: (shocked) WHAT!!!
