It has been two days since Winter and Lyla found out everything; The Kingdom had no idea about their arrival or if they even existed. King Felix had invited the people of Etheria to the palace for a royal ball. The ball was to commence by 5p.m that day. The whole Kingdom was preparing for the royal ball. Some people thought it was an honour to be invited while others wanted to use it as an excuse to show off their wealth.
Princess Corissa was in her room, sitting on the edge of her bed. She was looking out the window, staring at it.
Maid: Your majesty
Princess Corissa does not respond. The maid walks to her front and taps her gently.
Maid: Princess Corissa.
Princess Corissa snaps out of her daze and looks up at her. The maid curtsies on seeing this.
Maid: Your majesty, it is almost time for the ball.
Princess Corissa rises from her bed and looks at the golden clock in her room. She looks back at the maid.
Maid: The King and Queen want you to get dressed on time, as you will be welcoming the guests
Princess Corissa nods on hearing this. The maid curtsies then leaves the room. She comes back in no time with a beautiful emerald ball gown.

Two other maids curtsy and enter her room.
Maid: Please wear this your majesty.
The maid hands her the dress, which she collects.
Princess Corissa says with a straight face.
Princess: Thank you.
Maids: It is our pleasure, your majesty.
They curtsy as she goes to her dressing room to change. A few minutes later, a maid knocks on her dressing room door.
Maid: May we come in, Princess?
Princess: You may enter.
The maids enter the room and see Princess Corissa in the emerald gown. They waste no time again. They start packing her hair and putting on various jeweleries on her. When they are done, they compliment her and leave.
Princess Corissa looks in the mirror and sighs .She leaves the room. On her way out, she wears her silver tiara.
The ball is to be held in the grand hall of the palace. The grand hall had already been decorated beautifully for the ball. The ball was to commence by 5p.m and it was 4:39p.m. But that did not stop people from coming. The hall was already packed with royals, commoners and the regal knights. The
Knights were also invited for this important event. They dressed well, you'd think they were royals.
****TIME SKIP
The royal ball was already in full swing. The hall was even more packed now. People were dancing in the middle of the room, eating, chatting, while others were just admiring the view. Princess Corissa was moving from one place to another welcoming people to the ball, while they bowed in response. As she moved round the grand hall, the people were admiring her dress. Soon it was finally time for the king's announcement. The King and Queen were meant to make a grand entrance. This was announced by the king's right hand man, John.
John mounted the stage of the grand hall, where the thrones were. This action caught the attention of many.
John: People of Etheria,
John looks around the room. The people immediately stop chatting and focus on john.
John: Our beloved King and Queen of Etheria are here.
With that, the doors open, revealing the King Felix and Queen Alouette. The crowd of people move to either sides of the room, creating space in the middle. John gets down and joins the rest in the crowd. As the King and Queen pass, the people bow as a sign of respect. The King and Queen climb the few stairs and sit on their thrones. Princess Corissa walks up to the throne and stands at its back.
King Felix: You may raise your heads.
The people raise their heads and applause the king for hosting the ball.
King Felix: Thank you very much, for honouring my invitation.
King Felix stands and bows to them. The crowd smiles.
King Felix: I assume you all are having a good time.
Suddenly a woman eating cupcakes, dressed in an orange gown speaks up.
Woman: Yes, your majesty. But I would enjoy the ball, if we had more of these cupcakes.
The crowd erupts in laughter, including the King and Queen. Princess Corissa just stands with a straight face.
King Felix: Don't worry, We will consider that.
King Felix and Queen Alouette change to a serious mood after that. The crowd noticed this, so silence filled the air.
King Felix: The reason, I called for this ball was to make an important announcement.
The King pauses. The crowd mutters as they try to guess what the important announcement is.
Queen Alouette looks at the people, then at King Felix. He nods affirmatively. He then faces his people.
King Felix: Our daughters are back home.
There is silence in the room after that. Winter and Lyla walk into the room after that. Immediately Winter and Lyla open the door and walk into
the grand hall.
Winter is wearing a red dress with some silver pebbles on it.

Her hair has also been evenly cut shorter now, reaching just below her shoulders.
Lyla on the other hand is wearing a beautiful sky blue blushing pink, off shoulder gown.

Lyla's light yellow hair was made into a neat long ponytail.
They both walked through the center of the room, where space had been created previously. Everyone looked at them in awe as they made their way to the King, Queen and Corissa. The King finally speaks out, breaking the silence.
King Felix: We have Female Triplets.
Suddenly, a wine cup falls and shatters; following this, the whole crowd gasps
