Chapter 1 - Something Isn't Right

It was the rise of dawn, nearly half past four in the morning, slight breezes were blowing in Alpine Wilderness Resort in Sunfort City, one of the most porche cities in the country.

Inside the resort, there were several customised camping tents standing tall in the lawn where the grass was wet from the morning dew. It was mainly constructed for couples and their enjoyment….

Inside one of the camping tents, a figure was sleeping soundly and her hair falling down onto the floor like a waterfall, her porcelain white skin was illuminating in the darkness and velvet sheets had covered her precious body.

"What the hell?" Between the peaceful dawn, a woman's scream broke the silence.

Adrianna heard the scream and herveyes were opened. She fluttered her eyelashes like a butterfly. She was still drowsy but wondered who was arguing at this hour? She heard a quarrel outside the camp and when she tried to eavesdrop silently, it was gone.

Adrianna's hand went up to the empty place on her side of the bed and she realised that her boyfriend was no longer with her. It made her doubt a bit.

She draped her night suit on her naked body and moved her body a little. Suddenly, she felt convulsed and pain in her lower abdomen. The throbbing headache due to the late night drinks and flashbacks of the moment she spent with her partner. They made her blush.

She was shy but imagined all her intimate moments with her boyfriend, Jason. She never thought he would be that passionate about it.

Last night, Adrianna and her boyfriend Jason along with Adrianna's sister Laura, went to the resort for some good time. She recalled when Jason prepared and light up a bonfire banquet to confess his feelings to her. She was on cloud nine when she got proposed to by her longtime boyfriend. Her sister, Laura congratulated her and offered them wines to celebrate.

Adrianna gulped the wine from the flute as she was ecstatic and after a few more shots, she was pretty drunk.

Later, she remembered dainty that she took the initiative to pounce on Jason who dragged her into the tent.

"I really don't know… how did this happen?" It was Laura's voice which sounded graveled and full of grievance.

"Brother in law! This is a sin and I really don't know how this happened?" Laura seemed panicked.

"Shh! Keep your voice down, don't let Adrianna hear you." It was Jason who tried to hush Laura. His voice seemed to be exasperated.

Adrianna found it very strange about the conversation her sister and her boyfriend was having. Out of fear, she went out from the tent to have a look over it.

Her eyes landed on the tent beside hers where, at the entrance Jaosn stood in embarrassment. With his clothes off, only the shorts he was wearing at that moment. Adrianna approached him and on a closure inspection she noticed scratches on his back. They were fresh…

Adrianna walked over quickly and tapped on Jason's shoulder to gain his attention, "Jason, what are you doing here?" She asked but suddenly stayed stunned when her gaze landed onto something inside the tent. She saw through the gap in the tent that her sister, Laura, naked and trying to cover up the sex she had. She could smell the rubber even.

"Adrianna…" Jason was trying to reach her but Adrianna was devastated.

Her heart suddenly lifted with betrayal and guilt, and an ominous premonition struck.

"Adrianna, it's not what you think…" Jason couldn't stay silent, and hurriedly explained to her, "I drank too much last night, and went into the wrong tent. I thought it was you but it was Laura… trust me!!"

Her heart shattered like a thunderstorm, and Adrianna felt immense pain from the accident. She didn't want to think about it too much but she was overthinking and her head might explode from stress, "i can't believe this. Do you really sleep with her? You didn't felt that she wasn't me?" Adrianna was devastated.

It is self-evident that Jason looked ashamed.

Laura came rushing to Adrianna and tried to cover up her dirty trick, "Adrianna, trust me it was an accident, I didn't do it on purpose, I really didn't know that it would be turned up like this."

Not only her sister and boyfriend's betrayal broke her down, she was furious with the thought of Jason and Laura sleeping together then who slept with her? When she woke up, she found the bed empty but it was sure that someone was with her.

She was frightened at the thought and this whole incident made her sick. She turned her heel, leaving the other two arguing and ran back to the tent. She started looking for clues but only to find that a stack of money was placed on the bed near the nightstand and she noticed that the sheets were stained with blood. It broke her heart that the journey of becoming a woman from a girl wasn't what she really expected…

"Uh." Her gaze landed on a white note which was slightly stained with blood. "Miss, thank you for your first time, it was really good. if the money is not enough, you can come to Shili Garden to find me." The note says.

There were sets of a few phone numbers written in the back side of the note.

The two lines were written in American English and the handwriting was vigorous and powerful. According to the note, he seemed like an inhabited or wild person on earth.

Adrianna was utterly pissed and she clenched the stack of money with her fist tightly. How dare he think that she slept with him for money? I wonder why he thought I sold myself to him. So shameful. Adrianna threw the money on the bed and went outside.

When Adrianna came out of the tent again, Jason and Laura were waiting for her. They both looked embarrassed.

Laura noticed the furious expressions on her sister's face and immediately, she stepped forward and took her hand to apologize, "listen to me Adrianna, I'm sorry, my sister, I really didn't know this would happen. I am sinking under guilt." Laura started crying.

Adrianna froze there in a daze.

Laura's gaze fell on Adrianna's neck and she noticed the marks on it.

She exclaimed, "oh god!, these marks on your neck. Are you okay?"

Adrianna startled for the moment, and her hands went up to the mark. They were sore.

After hearing the gasp, Jason rushed to Adrianna and started inspecting her neck, more off if he was confirming something.

The very next second, Jason held her shoulders with both hands and pushed her slightly, "Say, who were you with last night? What happened?" He was pissed.

Adrianna wanted to smash his face with brick, as she thought that the man was him.

But it doesn't matter anymore. She simply remained silent.

Seeing her speechless, Jason couldn't help but growl at her, "Tell me, who was he?"

"Does it still matter who he was?" Adrianna yelled and glared at him indifferently: "Jason, we can't go back now. You and my sister already had it, just forget it, let me bless you with a good life ahead.
