Dumbledick's POV:
I paced across my office, a frown evident on my face. Everything was falling apart, and it was happening quicker than I could've ever anticipated.
The firstborn Potter boy was nowhere to be found, not leaving even a sliver of magic left to trace him. The muggles who I had instructed to take care of him had disconnected from the outside world.
When I finally found them, living in a small apartment, neither Harry nor their other child was anywhere nearby.
Even after invading their minds, I couldn't find anything but some previous memories, but most were scattered and ripped apart. It was a wonder they could even act sane.
Now they were even die-hard Christians. It was truly terrifying.
Charles also wasn't improving in his magic, barely showing any signs of being a magical baby at all. But he would grow. He was the boy who lived after all and puppet #1. No way in hell was I ever going to give that up.
The second potter boy was supposed to be jealous, and rude, prying for his brother's attention. Since he was probably dead thanks to his incompetence I would have to change my plans.
No matter, I could mold another child to be that pawn. I'd already put up compulsions for the Malfoy child. Maybe I could put that, was it Niffles? Nevige? Oh, Neville, right, I can use that Neville kid.
I smiled as my plans formulated in my mind, nothing, not even that new dark lord rumored to be planning or building something, can stop my plans from coming true.
No one.
Little did Albus know, a name was being scribbled out from the Hogwarts admittance paper. Harry James Potter was no more.
Yes, something new was coming. Someone was emerging from the once-forgotten ashes.
"Hadrian Slytherin Potter Black Peverell, Lord of Hogwarts." was scribbled down onto the page.
Somewhere in the distance a small smile, not even angels were worthy of, and even demons feared, appeared on this boy's lips.
Had the old man seen this name maybe he could've prepared, or maybe it would've been easier for him to accept his fate.
But unfortunately, Albus-too many names-dumbledore was too busy setting up his grand plan. He really was a fool. Just what people saw in that man Harry would never know.
Ahh, I almost feel bad for that senile old man.
Almost.
