"Christian, we have to go back!" Linda didn't want anything to happen to her son again. He just passed out. How could Christian actually walk all the way to the ER?
While Christian is still curious about Natasha. Why every time he saw the girl, he felt strange. His heart was beating fast. Not like pain.
Jonas grabs Christian's arm. His business with Natasha is over, and he has to return to his main task of being Christian's personal assistant.
"Come on go, Chris," Jonas said.
When he called out to Chris, Jonas got a slightly cynical look from Linda. She doesn't really accept Jonas calling Christian informally.
"Jonas, let me talk to the girl first. I wonder why…."
Jonas narrowed his eyes. Immediately Christian gave up. Jonas is the only one who can understand and obey Christianity more than his own parents. That's what Linda doesn't like sometimes. She was jealous because she felt her son listened to Jonas more than his parents.
"She has a husband, Chris." Jonas reminded.
Christian nodded. He turned though a moment later turned to Natasha. Linda and Alan immediately led the son to return to his room. They don't want Christian's condition to worsen.
After the departure of Christian and his family, Natasha tries to get up. She turned towards the door. No expression appeared except emptiness.
Natasha quietly released the IV in her hand slowly. She had to make sure no one saw or heard her. After the IV needle was released, Natasha rushed out of the emergency room. She came home unnoticed by anyone at dawn like this.
Natasha walked out with unsteady steps. She came out of the hospital area and stood on the highway. In a big city like this, there is always reliable transportation. Natasha intercepted one of the passing taxis. Luckily the taxi was about to stop.
"To the south," Natasha said to the Driver.
****
Two weeks passed. Natasha was in the apartment, which was in really poor condition. She never cleaned or tidied this place up. Items and used food wrappers are strewn everywhere.
The lighting was not even turned on. Every day, Natasha just turns on the television and watches jokes.
"Phillips, look, that's so funny." Natasha often talked to herself as if Philips was beside her.
Someone knocked on her apartment door. Natasha closed her eyes. She was most annoyed when someone wanted to meet her.
"Hey, bitch! I know you're sad, but remember you're in arrears on your rent! It's been three months, and you don't want to leave my place!"
Natasha was silent. Even though the woman's voice at the door was heard talking and blaspheming Natasha. She didn't know what to do because Natasha was out of work before she and Phillips planned to get married. At first, she was only allowed a few days because of the wedding, but because of Phillips' death, Natasha never returned to her place of work.
Her finances are running low. Natasha doesn't have any money left to pay the rent for this apartment because Phillips usually takes care of it.
Natasha got up slowly. Her steps were lackluster, but she had to meet the owner of this apartment.
When Natasha opened her apartment door, her face was suddenly splashed with sewage by the owner.
"Hey, if you have time to cry and lament your fate, you better use your time to pack your things and move out of here! I'm going to rent this apartment to someone else!" shouted the old Brenda. Brenda is a money freak. She didn't care about Natasha's sad condition.
"Give me a week. I'll find a job. I'll figure it all out," said Natasha without the slightest expression.
"Nonsense! What way do you want to make money in a week? Oh, you can be a whore. You can sleep with rich men and pay me with that money!" said Brenda.
Natasha clenched her fists. Brenda's words really hurt. How could she have the heart to say something like that? Does Brenda have no feelings?
"I'm not that kind of woman," said Natasha.
"Huh!" Brenda smirked. "Do you think I don't know that you and your boyfriend often have sex in my apartment? The residents here also know that you're a cheap woman. I've been patient enough because I respect your boyfriend. He still has more manners than you. I can't stand it anymore. And now you just leave this apartment? Leave your valuables. It will be confiscated until you can pay the debt of three months' rent!"
"Please give me more time," Natasha begged.
"No way!" shouted Brenda. She pulled Natasha's body to get out. "Go out right now!"
Natasha's body staggered forward as Brenda pushed her. She nearly fell, but she could hold herself back. Natasha's hand hit the wall and bent. As a result, her hand was dislocated.
"Aaah!" Natasha squealed.
Brenda watched as Natasha's hand hit the wall. However, she didn't feel guilty at all. She actually cursed at Natasha.
"Hmm, so don't disobey. I told you to leave, but you're still here. It wasn't my fault. Now you're gone!"
Brenda closed the apartment rented by Natasha. She locked the door from the outside so that Natasha could not enter.
"Hey, what are you doing? At least let me get my stuff!" cried Natasha.
"You can take your things when you pay the three months' rent. Now you better find the money. Otherwise, I'll throw your things in the garbage collector. I'll take the important stuff. You only have a month." Brenda was incredibly depraved. She is crueler than Cinderella's mother.
After threatening Natasha, Brenda just walked away. She didn't care that Natasha was going through a tough time.
Natasha cries. She was confused and didn't know what to do. She couldn't contact Ellen because he didn't want to bother her best friend after she chose to be alone after Phillips' death.
Natasha walked out of the apartment she had shared with Phillips for several years. Her heart was breaking even more because now she didn't know where to live.
Natasha walked by the side of the road crying. Her right-hand holds her stomach. The girl was completely lost at this point.
At that time, a luxury car passed by. Inside the car was the figure of a handsome man who smiled happily. He is a Christian who is so happy that he has been declared cured of his illness and can go home from the hospital after several months of treatment. Christian accidentally saw Natasha walking on the side of the road, crying. Christian's eyes suddenly burst into tears when he saw Natasha.
