The Doctor's door suddenly opened. Christian looks, sticking his head out.
"Hey, you. Come in," Christian says.
Immediately Jonas stood up. He steps into the room, but Christian blocks him from entering. "Not you, but that women," Christian says.
Natasha turns when Christian points at her. "Me? What's wrong with me?" she asked.
"Just come in," Christian orders. Yes, orders. Because Cristian was never taught how to ask for help.
Jonas turned. He looked at Natasha, hoping she would do what Christian said.
"We'll get this over soon, Miss. I promise you, we won't be bothered again after today," Jonas said.
Natasha stares harshly at Christian. Her eyes narrowed in disbelief. How could she distrust a man who kissed her for no reason? Natasha is not a slut. She had no reason to be happy about being treated like this, even though Christian was rich.
"Alright." Natasha also relented. "I'm going in." She then stood up and walked into the Doctor's office.
Jonas wants to go in too, but again Christian blocks him. "You stay outside," Christian says. There was nothing Jonas could do but give in. He stays outside the room while Christian closes the door.
"I hope everything you've been worrying about is over after this. It would help if you focused on your life, Christian," Jonas muttered.
Inside the Doctor's office, Christian shows Natasha to the Doctor. Doctor Nick Brown.
"This women, Doctor. She's the one who always makes my heart beat faster. I'm not lying. If you don't believe it, you can check it out," Christian says.
Natasha turns to Christian. She didn't think that Christian would lie to her.
"You're even willing to pay a doctor just to lie to me?" she chuckled. She had completely underestimated Christian.
"I'm not lying, Miss. Why should I lie to you? What's so special about you that I have to lie?" he answered. He looked Natasha up and down. Natasha's appearance wasn't bad, but poor girls weren't Christian's taste.
"Why are you staring at me? You perverted man!" shrieked Natasha.
Doctor Nick Brown, who was sitting, stood up. He approached Christian and hugged him.
"Are you sure you never dated her five or six years ago?" asked Doctor Nick Brown.
Christian feels belittled by his Doctor. "I was a virgin before I had surgery!" He did not accept the Doctor's teasing words. "I can't do anything when I'm sick!"
Doctor Nick Brown chuckles at Christian's reaction. He knew very well about Christian's condition before he underwent heart transplant surgery. It's really impossible if Christian have time to please.
"After all, the woman already has a husband and children. I have never interfered with other people's relationships," continued Christian.
Natasha is stunned when Christian says she already has a husband and children, but he doesn't say anything. She just sighed. She better get this shit over with soon.
"So what should I do so you don't bother me anymore, Sir? What do you want me to do?" she asked.
Christian looks at Doctor Nick Brown. "Do something, Doctor. I'm not comfortable with this condition. I'm pounding like I have a strange feeling. This doesn't feel right to me."
"You're even more unnatural for kissing me carelessly!" she snapped.
Christian looks at Natasha. "You think I want to kiss you? I don't want to do it either. If my heart doesn't beat so fast because of you, I also don't want to kiss a poor woman like you!"
"What? Poor woman? You know I'm poor, but I still chase after myself. You know I have a husband and children, but you kiss me on purpose! Who's unnatural? You or me?" Natasha couldn't hold back her anger when Christian belittled her. "You are rich, but you have no attitude, Sir!"
Doctor Nick Brown could not stand this fight. Even though they claim they don't know each other, their bickering is like lovers living together.
"All right, all right. I'll do something. We'll do a quick check. Christian, you lie down in bed," said Doctor Nick Brown.
"Me?" Christian asks, pointing at himself.
"Yes, you. Because you are my patient. You came to check on your condition, right?" Doctor Nick Brown then looked at Natasha. "And you, Miss. Sit close to him."
"What for?" interrupted Natasha, still with a rough look in her eyes.
Doctor Nick Brown sighed. "To check my patient's heart condition. He insisted it had something to do with you. So I asked for his cooperation."
Natasha did not refuse. He did what Doctor Nick Brown said. Christian lies down on the bed. While Natasha was beside him.
Doctor Nick also conducted an examination using a stethoscope. He was sure that Christian's condition was fine. Every month for the past five years, Christian has done routine painting, and the results have been without problems.
The tip of the stethoscope is placed on Christian's right chest. Doctor Nick Brown also checked it. He closes his eyes for a few seconds, but there's nothing strange about Christian's heartbeat.
"This is normal, Chris. There's nothing wrong with your heartbeat," said Doctor Nick Brown.
Christian's hand suddenly held Natasha's hand, making Natasha surprised.
"Check again," Christian pleads.
Doctor Nick Brown also obeyed what Christian said. He places the tip of the stethoscope against Christian's right chest. This time Doctor Nick Brown could hear Christian's heartbeat beating faster than before, but it still couldn't be said to be anything unusual.
"Yes, a little faster, but this can still be said to be normal. Maybe you are just tired, Young Master. You are too busy with your activities."
Doctor Nick Brown did not want to continue this examination. Looks like Christian is just making it up.
Natasha stares resentfully at Christian. She feels that Christian is just lying to her.
"I expected it!" she said. "My business is over. And I have nothing to do with your strange heartbeat. If you are sick, you can use your money for treatment. Don't bother a poor girl like me, Sir! I'm gone!"
Natasha chose to step away from this room. But she tripped over the chair in front of her when her feet stepped. Christian, who at that time had just woken up from his sleeping position, swiftly caught Natasha's body, which was about to fall.
They both fall on the same bed. At that time, Christian's chest and Natasha's chest met, causing a strange connection between them.
Natasha accidentally looks into Christian's eyes as well as Christian looks into Natasha's eyes. This time it was not only Christian's heart beating very fast but also Natasha's heart beating abnormally.
"What's this?" she thought. "Why do I feel similar to that time? When I was with Phillips."
