Chapter 14 - 14. Feeling Something For You

Christian is still in that position. The position where he was on top of Natasha's body. Staring at the girl's face with his heart beating increasingly erratic. He wanted to get up, but his chest felt very strange.

"Ah!" Christian squealed, clutching his right chest.

Doctor Nick Brown watches as Christian groans. He immediately helped Christian quickly get up. Christian sat down while Natasha was still on the bed. Now she felt something strange. It was clear that Phillips was here, but this man made her feel the presence of Philips, who had been dead for five years.

Natasha's tears welled up. She didn't understand what this feeling was. She looked at Christian, who was being comforted by Doctor Nick. The man turned out to be a patient.

Natasha got up too. She stares at Christian's face. It's weird. She wasn't wearing this man, but why did she feel something so familiar?

"Tell me who are you?" she asked. This time it was in question.

Christian turns to Natasha. He's calmer now, likewise, with doctor Nick Brown. He was astonished by what had just happened.

In a restaurant, Natasha, Christian, Jonas, and Doctor Nick Brown sit together. Natasha didn't say much except stare at these people. He feels so insecure among people who are considered not on his level. They are rich and successful people. Not the same as him.

"So you have never known me all this time. Likewise, I have never known you, either. My heart condition is suspected to be due to the effects of an operation carried out five years ago. The strange thing is, why do I have to relate to you, Miss Natasha," said Christian. This time he was more diplomatic and calmer than at the hospital earlier.

While Natasha did not understand how to respond to this kind of situation. She also has strange feelings when she is with Christian. She knew she had no interest whatsoever in this rich CEO.

"Then what do you want me to do, Sir? Do you want me to be responsible for your heart condition? I certainly don't know anything about your current situation. I just want you to let me go and not bother me," said Natasha.

Jonas had been silent all along with his arms crossed. From the start, he felt this was nonsense.

"All right," says Christian. "I'm sorry for bothering you. After this, I won't bother you anymore. Jonas will take you home as an apology from me."

Jonas glared at Christian. He didn't agree to accompany Jonas because he didn't want Christian to go home alone. Or Christian will run to a nightclub and spend the night with bitches.

"I'll take you, Chris," Jonas said.

Christian shakes his head. "No. Today I went to my parents' home. They've arranged a plan for me," says Christian.

"Plan?" Jonas seems to need to learn about this plan. "Mr. Gibson didn't tell me anything."

"Really?" Christian is also surprised by Jonas' answer. It was unusual for Jonas not to know what his schedule was. "Maybe it's sudden." Even so, Christian became suspicious of something.

After the meeting at the restaurant, Jonas finally agreed to take Natasha home. It was very awkward because Jonas didn't say anything. Jonas is very cold and reserved.

"Thank you for helping me. You did it several times," said Natasha. She couldn't stand the silence in the car.

"Oh, that wasn't on purpose, Miss. Don't sweat it too much," Jonas replied. He prefers to focus on driving. But there was something that bothered him a little about Natasha. "You are married and have children. Why do you work? I mean. Is your husband not sufficient for the family. … "Jonas felt that his question was too presumptuous. "I'm sorry. I'm not in the mood to ask."

Natasha smiled. She was slightly amused by Jonas' attitude. "I don't have a husband, Sir. You don't have to worry."

Jonas immediately glanced at Natasha when he heard that answer from her. "But five years ago you…."

"Yes, five years ago, I was pregnant. But I'm not married," answered Natasha.

Jonas feels guilty for bringing up Natasha's private matters. He shouldn't have. "Sorry," Jonas said curtly.

It didn't take long, they finally arrived in front of a house that couldn't be said to be luxurious, but it wasn't a simple house either. It was the house of Marry, an old woman whom Natasha met at a convenience store five years ago.

"This is your house?" asked Jonas while looking at the house's condition.

"No. This is my mother's house. Would you like to stop by, Sir? I would love it if you would taste some tea inside," said Natasha. For some reason, she always wanted to be friendly to Jonas compared to Christian.

Jonas could not accept Natasha's offer. He had to come back to be with Christian. "Oh, I am sorry, Miss. But I have to go back to my boss's house…."

"Just five minutes. I have to say thank you. I'm not one to be indebted to others. You saved my life five years ago. And. Now you also saved me from your boss and then walked me home. At least if we don't meet again, I won't. I'll regret it," said Natasha.

Jonas wanted to leave immediately. But he didn't want to disappoint Natasha's good intentions. After this, they will not meet again.

"Oh … okay, fine. But I'll only be a minute," Jonas said.

She smiled, and then she opened Jonas's car door, and Jonas immediately got out of the car. They also entered the house.

"Mom, I'm home!" said Natasha when she opened the house door. She smiled at Jonas and motioned for Jonas to sit down. "Please, sit down, Sir. I will prepare tea for you," said Natasha.

Jonas was sitting in the living room. He felt very awkward because he was in a stranger's house. He would leave immediately after finishing the tea from Natasha.

Natasha rushed into the kitchen. She lit a fire and then heated the water. She remembered to look for the tea in the drawer and then poured it into the small teapot.

At that time, Marry, who had just come out of the bathroom, saw Natasha making hot tea.

"There is a guest?" Marry asked.

"Just an acquaintance. I just wanted to thank you, Mom," said Natasha.

Mary looked at Natasha. Her face looked sad when she saw the girl. Natasha did smile, but the smile felt fake.

"Are you forcing yourself to look fine in front of me, Tasha? If you're not feeling well, you better get some rest and see a doctor. Don't act like you're fine," said Marry.

Natasha sighed. Her smile suddenly turned into a sad face.
