Once Sam and Mary had reached the base of the mountain Mary looked around and said
"You were right about this forest as I don't see a speck of ash anywhere yet it's called the ash forest"
Sam retracted his wings with Mary doing the same before they both started to explore the forest till Sam saw in a small clearing three spikes sticking out of the ground before he smelled a sour odour before he whispered to Mary next to him as they both hid behind a tree
"Wait here and be ready for anything"
Mary nodded and stayed in place while she changed her eye and kept her eyes on the clearing while Sam went a couple trees over and looked at Mary before he threw a rock at the three spikes before a gargantuan snake bursted out of the ground and spat a ball of green goo at a random tree before the green goo melted down the tree it had hit Mary looked at Sam as he stared at the beast and was worried as he saw its name and level
Sam looked at Mary and grew his wings out with Mary doing the same before Sam pointed upwards significantly for Mary to fly upwards and took a deep breath before he jumped to the side and yelled saying
"Mary run! I'll distract him!"
Mary followed Sam's command and flew upward while she saw the basilisk following Sam through the tree line and yelled as Sam kept dodging balls of poison from the basilisk
"Master! It's behind you! Be careful!"
Sam kept looking for an opening in the tree line to get high into the sky before he looked behind him and saw the basilisk was right behind him before he took a sharp turn around a tree and yelled as he started to visualize a mighty mountain that didn't crumble to stones as he breathed in

Just as the basilisk was preparing to spew a ball of acid at Sam again a sharp spike popped out of the ground piercing the basilisk's head causing the acid in its mouth to melt the basilisk's body till there was only a few melted bones before Sam slowed down and landed by the dissolved basilisk and yelled before Mary landed behind him
"It's dead now! Mary?"
Once Mary looked at the mess she looked at sam and said
"I think you were right about training us more"
Sam looked at Mary then back at the mess before some system notifications appeared

After nearly 15 minutes of flying Sam spotted another Basilisk resting in a similar clearing as the other one before he imagined a thunderstorm again and yelled as Mary watched closely

"Your Draconian element is fire so I want you to clear your mind and visualize a flame and picture your breathing it into your lungs before you exhale and release it"
Mary closed her eyes and pictured a bonfire before she took a deep breath and yelled as she shot a decently sized ball of fire

Sam was amazed at Mary's talent as she achieved it on her first try before she hugged Sam saying before she entered the temple

Sam looked at Mary running off before he looked back at the sky and said to himself before he entered the temple

Once Sam had entered the temple he noticed Mary was talking in the main hall with the other ladies before she saw Sam and smiled widely followed by the other ladies smiling at Sam before he decided to take a small nap in his own separate room and took a glance into the dojo room before he stopped and entered the dojo to find Jim and Charles sparring with dragon weapons while Harry and Phil watched before they saw Sam and stopped sparring to bow to Sam before they continued
Sam smiled and opened the door to his room to find it was a little dusty but still in decent conditions for him before he closed the door and sat down at the desk next to the bed and pulled out the
"Yes? Who is it?"
Samantha's voice was heard as she said
"Master Stone it's Sammy, I'm preparing dinner now and was wondering if you weren't busy if you could help me make dinner"
Sam stood up and opened the door to see Cindy standing directly behind Samantha and said as he kneeled down to eye level with Samantha
"I'm sorry but i am quite busy with something but I'm sure your sister would love to help you or maybe Ruth? Or Mary"
Samantha smiled and said before she left to go find Mary
"I'll go ask Mary, make sure your at dinner"
Sam laughed before he noticed Cindy wasn't following her sister and said
"Cindy? What's wrong?"
Cindy hugged Sam and said as Sam noticed the others looking at them both
"Thank you for letting my sister stay here with me"
Sam patted Cindy's head and said as he stared at the others who were gossiping with each other
"In this clan we are a family and I always take care of family so just know you can count on me"
Cindy looked up and smiled before she left to go find her sister while on the way hitting everyone else on the head with a metal bat before Sam closed his door and returned to the
"Dinner is ready and you're late! everyone is already there!"
Sam smiled and said as he picked Samantha up and grew his wings out
"Then we better not keep them waiting, hold on!"
Samantha held on to Sam's shirt before Sam used his wings to fly like a rocket to the other end of the temple before he stopped at the steps to the cafeteria and set Samantha down before they walked up the stairs and found everyone was waiting for Sam and Samantha to sit down before they started eating and near the end of the meal Sam clapped his hands together and said once everyone was looking at him
"In 1 week from now we will have a test"
Everyone started to groan and whine before Sam said
"The Person with the highest score and the runner up will become squad leaders for when we get more recruits into the clan"
After hearing this everyone looked at the Olson brothers who were grinning happily as they were sure they would win with their draconian forms before Sam said
"For this test there will be no fighting between other test applicants but you would be fighting me instead and half of it will be your knowledge about everything you know that I will teach you over the week"
The Olson brothers confidence Immediately sank to the bottom along with the others before Sam said
"Daily routine will be as follows the day will begin with morning breakfast then Dragon Biology and after that you will have some Spare Time before lunch and then we do physical training and then dinner, any questions? And yes you must stay within the Dragon temple"
Mary raised her hand and asked Sam
"What are you allowed to do during free time?"
Sam yawned a little and said before he stood up
And left for his room
"That is for you to decide but just know that if you cheat there will be severe consequences but I doubt any of you will do such a thing so I'm going to go to bed and you all should too"
Sam left everyone to clean up before Sam made his way to his private room and plopped down onto his bed and immediately fell asleep in seconds as he felt he was lying on soft and squishy marshmallows
Meanwhile in Mary's dorm Mary was laying on her bed trying to go to sleep but had trouble sleeping as she kept thinking of her flying in the sky next to Sam having the time of her life before a knock was heard on her door and opened it to see Cindy standing there and said as she looked in the hall for any others
"Cindy? What are you doing here?"
Cindy said as she looked behind Mary to find no one else in her room
"We need to talk about the master, can I come in?"
Mary stood to the side and closed the door after Cindy entered the room and said as Cindy took a look around the room
"What are you talking about"
Cindy said as she started walking around the room while Mary stared at her
"I know about your little flying session with the master and that you tried to seduce him by showing him your bare naked back while you said for him to look at your wings"
Mary started to grow out her claws as she said
"That's not what happened in the main hall"
Cindy noticed Mary's claws and said as she sat down across from Mary's bed
"Well that's what it looked like so how about we make a deal?"
Mary sat down and was confused before Cindy said as she held a photo of Mary who was outside of a warehouse talking with a masked man
"You keep your hands off the master and I won't tell him of your work Deal? Otherwise I'll just tell him right now"
Mary was mortified by the photo and was about to burst out yelling before she said as she lowered her head
"You have a deal but please get rid of that photo please"
Cindy smiled and pulled out a usb and said before she left the room
"Don't worry I got the photo on this usb just incase you try anything funny"
Once the door was closed Mary grew her wings and yelled as she started crying with she began to destroy her room leaving everything in splinters before it started to repair itself
Mary stood up and said to herself as she stared at a photo on her mother and father
'Even here you both keep causing me trouble'
