The next day Sam woke up and went to the dorms and yelled as he was walking down the hallway to the cafeteria
"Breakfast time! Everyone up!"
Minutes later everyone was dressed and ready for breakfast and heard Sam say as he was walking up the stairs
"I hope you all have gotten enough sleep as you will have only six more days till the test and once the two team leaders are picked we will go and recruit more people to join our faction"

"The written part will include you explaining the key aspects of multiple creatures while saying what their most vulnerable areas are"
Everyone smiled as they found it wasn't going to be hard as there were only a few creatures that they had to study before Sam said
"The majority of your marks will come from the combat portion of the test as I will test your strength and your draconian form but I will help you all prepare for the test"
Harry asked Sam as Samantha came around with the food
"Master, do me and my brother continue crafting the gear you asked us to do while we prepare for the test?"

"You and your brother will not participate in the test combat test as we have seen the extent of your powers but instead you will both compete with each other with your
Harry and phill smiled widely as they saw this as a chance to impress Sam with their skills before phill said
"Does that mean in the afternoon you will allow me and my brother to remain in the forging area?"
Sam nodded as said as he and the other ate their breakfast
"If you choose to but do not slack off or you both will fail"
Phill and Harry cheered in their minds as they didn't want to spar with Sam again after they had both lost to him while Sam noticed Mary had barely touched her food and said
"Is something troubling you Mary?"
Mary looked at Sam then at Cindy for a moment before she said as she started eating
"I just thought of what could my family is doing right now"
Sam noticed her quick look at Cindy before he turned to Mary and said
"I'm sure they would be proud of you for making it this far so eat up"
After everyone had eaten Sam stood at the dojo entrance and waited for everyone else to enter before he stopped Cindy and Mary by saying
"Mary and Cindy I want to speak to you both in my quarters now"
Cindy and Mary followed Sam into his room and said as he pulled two chairs out for them both
"Sit and I want to know what is going on between the two of you as I will not tolerate fighting between students"
Mary looked Sam in the eyes and said
"I'm sorry Master stone but I must confess that before I joined the faction I didn't live a normal life as I was part of an organization"
Sam then turned to Cindy and asked her
"And I'm guessing you threatened her by saying you were going to tell me about her past?"
Cindy simply nodded while she didn't utter a word before Sam sighed and said as he laid back into his chair
"I understand why you wouldn't want to tell me this about your past but ever since you join my faction the past no longer matters as life is about changing to be better then who you were before"
Mary and Cindy looked at each other before Sam said
"When you join my faction I want you to forget about your darkest moments of your life and become a new person so I don't want to see you fighting with each other anymore but let's head to the dojo for the morning class okay"
Mary and Cindy smiled and giggled at each other before they said in unison as Sam waited by the front door before they left for the morning lesson

Once the morning lesson was concluded Mary approached Sam and asked as Sam grabbed his spear

As Sam was flying over the Ash forest looking for the final creature he would need to kill for his quest before he saw a wide open field a few miles away from where he fought the Earth worm and landed in the field to rest his wings for a moment before he heard a cry that sounded almost identical to an ash birds cry before he hid behind a tree and said to himself as he watched the open field
'I thought ash birds only come out at night? Somethings wrong'
Just then the same cry was heard before Sam saw a creature called a Cockatrice that looked very familiar to the Ash bird Except Sam saw it was twice the size and height of an ash bird with a much larger beak and just as Sam was about to take a closer look Three more Cockatrice's came out of the woods while a red and white Scaled Cockatrice followed behind them before it snarled at the lone Cockatrice in the middle of the field and started to circle the lone Cockatrice before the lone Cockatrice ran away into the forest at incredible speeds with the white and red Cockatrice chasing behind it with the three smaller ones following it
Sam saw the Cockatrices disappear into the forest before he took to the skies and tried to follow them back had little luck finding them again before he saw a cave on the side of a small mountain that looked to be not even a fifth of the height compared to the Dragon mountain before Sam landed on the side of the mountain just above the cave before he started to climb down till he could peak his head inside the cave to find it was completely empty before Sam entered the cave and rested for a moment before he started looking in the back of the cave where he found a small pool of lava and heard multiple messages appear from the system saying

Sam was astounded by the sudden quest before he dipped his hand into the pool of and found it felt like a steaming hot bath of water and was about to enter the pool before he backed up and said to himself as he stared at the pool of lava
'Wait if I can gain such amazing rewards from the quest then that means it will be very dangerous and I have no idea if I'll even be able to clear it, I should head back'
As Sam was heading back to the entrance of the cave he felt a rumble in his feet before he hid behind some rocks while peaking at the entrance to the cave as the trembling got stronger and stronger before Sam saw a name overtop of a white and gold Wyvern called as the name glowed a dark red next to it's level
Sam saw the Wyverns name and level and said to himself as he hid behind the rock out of the Wyverns sight
'I'm in over my head now'
Just then Sam looked to his right and saw three eggs before they started shaking around before Sam looked around for another way out but realized unless he snuck past the hell fire Wyvern he would have to kill it as it was watching the entrance to the cave to stand guard for its eggs
Sam looked back at the three eggs that were a few feet from him that we're shaking more and more with each second and then back at the Draconian Transformation Pool and took a deep breath before he jumped in where he felt his skin was burning and tried to endure the pain as best as he could before he heard a woman's voice say as Sam was screaming in pain

Sam closed his eyes and focused on his Draconian Core before he started absorbing the pool of lava through his skin slowly and steadily before Sam felt his body being wrapped around as if he was in a cocoon of stone before the pain started to ebb and heard the same voice saying as Sam felt everything in his body change inside of the cocoon
""That's it young master, your almost there just hold out a little longer and you will have passed""
Sam couldn't speak but had a single thought in his head as the pool dried up revealing the cocoon of stone Sam was in
'Who are you?'
However the voice said nothing else before Sam regained his movement and broke out of the cocoon before he realized that he had transformed into a Drake and roared as loud as he could as the system rewarded Sam for completing the trial

Sam felt so much power in his veins while he was transformed into this form before he turned his attention to the hell fire Wyvern and saw it was guarding the entrance way to block same from leaving before Sam yelled in his new form saying
"You challenge me? You will court death!"
The Wyvern began to shake before it started flying away from the cave leaving Sam alone in the cave to wonder as he shifted to his normal look
'Who's voice did I just hear? Was it another dragon?'
However just as Sam was about to leave the cave after growing out his wings he heard and egg cracking before tiny high pitched yelps were being heard causing Sam to look at where the noise was coming from before he saw three baby Wyvern and was about to kill them before a system message appeared saying to Sam
[would you like to imprint on the Wyvern Hatchling?(Y/N)]
Sam smiled as he pressed yes and picked up the hatchling before the other two looked at sam as well as sam said
"Don't worry, I'll take you guys to your new home"
However just as Sam was about to imprint on the other two Sam saw a message in front of him while he held the hatchling in his arms
[Would you like to transport the Wyvern Hatchling to the Dragon Dens?(Y/N)]
Sam pressed yes before the baby Wyvern disappeared from his arms before Sam imprinted on thee other two Wyverns before he headed back to the cave entrance before he grew out his wings and looked back at where the pool of lava was before he said in hopes the mysterious voice heard him
"Thanks for your help"
Sam heard no response and was about to fly away before he had an idea before he grew into his Drake form and jumped out of the cave and tried to fly before he looked at his back and saw his wings were not there before he fell to the ground
Causing a loud crash as he landed before he looked up at the cave's entrance and said to himself
'Seems like when I'm in my Drake form I'm unable to fly unless it's just my wings I want out'
Sam looked down at his surroundings before he saw a series of system notifications that confused Sam

Sam wondered when he killed an alpha Cockatrice till he realized he fell on the one he saw earlier before he looked at the pancaked Cockatrice and said

Sam then continued to traverse back through the forest as fast as he could and before long had managed to reach the foot hold of the mountain before he changed back and grew his wings to fly up where he found that the temple had down a remarkable change in its beauty as it changed from a somewhat rundown monument to a stunning newly built temple and apron entering the temple he saw everyone in the main all before they saw Sam and ran up asking multiple questions at once before Sam calmed them down and said
"Everything is alright but first I have to check something so follow me"
Everyone followed Sam while he began to search for the
"Master what is the dragon den? And what made it suddenly appear in the temple"
Sam smiled and opened the door the dragon den to see it looked like a pit in the floor with 10 small caves around the edges of the pit in the floor that looked to be at least 30 ft deep while it was spanned over 40 ft long
Everyone started walking along the edges before Sam said as he saw on the bottom of the pit the three Wyvern hatchlings play fighting
"As time Goes on here I too will be training and from it this temple will change with me but first… anyone want to name them?"
Mary grew out her wings and said as she looked at Sam
"Is it safe to go down there?"
Sam grew his wings two and said before he jumped down to the bottom
"Why don't you see for yourself? Haha"
Mary followed Sam and said once she landed on the ground and looked up to see everyone staring down at them
"This place continues to amaze me"
Sam smiled as he picked one of the hatchlings up and handed it to Mary before he said
"Get used to it but let's skip afternoon training as I want to give these guys names so let's take them to the dojo"
Mary smiled before she and Sam flew the hatchlings out of the pit before everyone gathered and began playing with the hatchlings
