All she had to do was wreck the marriage of a wealthy Mama's boy. The unfortunate soul on the receiving end is a certain Audrey Pierce Anderson, the only heir to the Anderson enterprise and reknowned Prince of the business industry, a multi talented person with a charming character.
He is the epitome of a good citizen with no criminal record and always extend his helping hands to those in need. He had lots of charity organizations sponsored under his name. The kind to help a little kid cross the road or stand up for that old lady in the train (wonder how he does since he never rode one) but that is who the media portrays him to be. Coupled with his handsome face, he is quite popular with both genders.
But that wasn't the most interesting part, his kindness or not is not her priority.
Prince Audrey Pierce Anderson, a title bestowed upon him by the prime minister, came from the lineage of a very morally strict family that cherish reputation above anything else. Which partly explains his behavior. Their ancestors were respectful people and no one was allowed tarnish their name.
At the age of 18, Prince Audrey managed to take their family business 3 times higher in just 8 years ever since he assumed position as the CEO, nicknamed the money making machine. To tarnish his reputation is truly a nightmare on his part. But who asked him to make enemies? She is only doing her job and if this is going to take her out of her hell hole, she is willing to see it to the end.
He shouldn't blame her, this is just how life is. It isn't always sunshine, she's just showing the harsh side of it where she grew up from.
It's not like he'd even be affected, he had enough talent and money to see him through. She had grown up alone sometimes scraping by when the clan run out of money but she didn't die. So he wouldn't.
By now over 20 strong armed men were chasing after her.
"If you step any further I'll shoot,"
"You can try," Nova yelled back, dashing between two guards approaching from the front. They would not shoot, that she was certain. Unless they wanted to hit their men they wouldn't.
Weaving between the bulky men she easily slipped between the gaps dodging their extended arms. By the time she was at the stairs of the Hall's backdoor, they were trying to get up from their positions on the ground. Luckily the dogs have disappeared sometimes along the way.
"You have 20 seconds left,"
"You can bid goodbye to your dream if you don't hurry up!"
"In your dreams!"
Right, it's time to employ her second talent.
Gathering her gown in her hands, she dashed up the stairs of the great hall with the guards now on her tow.
She plucked a thorny rose decorating the walls of the hall and poked two holes in her palms bringing tears to her eyes. On normal basis she didn't need pain to fake a cry, this is just a precaution.
"Baby!" With the most antagonizing wail she could ever muster, Nova banged on the heavy doors open and ran straight to the alter.
Had I chosen acting as a career, I might have made it in life. She thought catching her breath with red puffy eyes. Which is partly the job of her makeup.
Silence.
The once joyful event had turned dead silent. The priest had one hand raised in the air while holding the holy book with the other, the guy in black and the lady in white had both their attentions on the intruder.
"What is going on here? Guards drag her out!" Someone, probably the person in charge of security shouted and the guards rushed towards her. Too late, Nova sped up straight towards the three people standing in the center of the room. The hall was flashing in golds and diamonds from the accessories of the esteemed guests.
Damn I'd be six feet deep in the dirt when I'm caught.
But she wouldn't be caught.

"Baby please, we can talk this through. I know you love me just as much as I love you." She choked out reaching the groom who had his back to her, not turning once since she came in. "Don't do this to me."
No one made a move as the event register in their brain, the girl had already sprawled on the ground hugging the grooms leg like her life depended on it. Even the guards had stopped by the entrance watching the scene unfold.
Nova wailed at the foot of the white extention. The place was deadly silence that she felt a little bit embrassed over how loud her voice sounded, but carried on nonetheless. The blonde haired girl sprawled in the middle of the hall with a with her shoes in both hands.
"For the sake of our child," she sobbed rubbing her tommy.
"Insolence!" A hoarse voice boomed startling her as a large man with a long saber tucked to his waist stepped forward with every intention of slicing her into two.
Really? A Sabre at a wedding? Who allowed such monstrosity?
She hugged the leg tighter hiding behind the poor man. She could feel him tense at under her clutch.
"How dare you!" The a huge blade stopped by her nose, she screamed again. "He betrayed me! He begged me to keep the baby and promised to take care of us. Just who is the insolent one among us?" The blade shook as the beared guy bristled. He glanced at the groom before slowly withdrawing his blade. It was clear the boulder didn't like the idea.
"You hypocrite!" Sob, sob, "traitor." Nova carried on not bothering to look up at the man even though he just saved her. His innocent face would be too painful to watch. But the girl standing next to him looking at her with contempt, was throwing murderous glares at her as she kept on inching closer to her husband.
