Brad had realized that the Bear already found them friendly and non-hostile towards her, maybe it was his enhanced senses but he could read the various micro expressions on faces even the animals. He saw that the Bear treated the Gorilla as something of a rival and would rather fight against it than him.
Brad shuttled through the trees as he found a perfect hiding spot far away. He saw how the Gorilla fled last time and he knew they wouldn't get far if they ran away. It'll be better if they fight it out with the aggresive sack of testosterone, he had now found confidence in hunting larger animals but he knew he was far from being able to kill these monsters yet.
Soon he saw a giant Shadow zooming in from the trees as it swung towards the direction of the Bear. Brad realized this was about five kilometers away from his cave and he could bring those four over there but that would reveal his location to the buffed up king kong. Brad then saw the Mama bear run towards a greater foe colliding their gigantic bodies.
The Bear might be taller and bigger but the Gorilla was leaner and faster than the bear. It looked like an even match but it seemed the Bear is losing due to it's prior injuries. She might have been healed but she is tired and weary chasing after the four for so long. She was only able to hold on because of sheer will to protect her cub.
Brad smiled as he looked for chances to even the playing field, in his peripheral he could see the four or three people running to the cliffside where his cave was at. He already scouted the area here and knew there was no danger. Only place he hadn't explored was the top of the tall cliff, he still couldn't see the top of the cliff that was shrouded with clouds. One day he might but now he must improve himself more.
Since he saw the bear he had already planned to kill it but seeing itp was a parent chasing after it's child he had changed his mind. But the gorilla arriving here meant that he could get meat equivalent to the wyvern he had eaten. Brad smiled as he aimed with precision but before he could the Gorilla somewhat sense some killing intent that was aimed at it.
It wanted to look over but it was mauled by the Bear who took chance in the opening. Brad saw a better shot and threw with all his might, the harpoon traveled five hundred meters in a blink of an eye as it peirced right at the left ear of the large simian.
*ROAR!!!*
The gorilla was furious at the sudden pain but it is curently stunned and the Bear took the chance to deal some serious damage. Soon another harpoon embedded itself on the Gorilla's knees causing it to lose balance thus it became victim to a serious trashing brought upon by the Mama bear.
The three sober people and the drunkard girl hugging the baby bear like a plushie watched the fight happening from afar. Their mouths were agape seeing the precise shots that hit vital points on the Gorilla's body.
"It's a Berserkong! Another peak Platinum level beast, My god this continent is so scary!" Ashea paled at the sight because normally there would only be one Platinum level beast in an area of at least thousand kilometer radius back on their continent and they always steered clear of each other's territory. But here they could see two of such Beast battling it out and the most surprising is the human shaped ballista that already shot four harpoons.
"This is insane! This guy could very well be an Orichalcum level Adventurer, how come we've never heard of any harpoon users like this guy?" Kent was amazed at how the bolts already pierced the gorilla before the sound arrived.
"He's stronger than Orichalcum rank, even if the bear is tanking the Berserkong, the damage he's done is like a dwarven ballista. He could rival a whole division of Dwarven Scorpion Ballistas if he had enough ammunition," Brendel looked serious at the sight of the one sided fight. But the Berserkong still fought back because the Tectonic Bear could not dish out it's strongest attack due to fatigue.
"Should we help?" Kent looked at the cub that has woken up and was playing with the drunk priestess.
"Hewre cowms da twickle munsterr!!" Rhean was tickling the cub that seemed to enjoy the belly rub it was receiving.
"Might as well, I can feel the bear has already shown trust by leaving it's cub behind. I really want to know who that man is and how he could be so calm faceing such Beast." Ashea nodded as she mustered what mana she had left and casted
"Minor Strength boost!!" the Bear felt the assist and subtley looked towards the four people hiding far away. It seemed relieved that they didn't ran away again so it kept mauling the Gorilla that soon turned red all over.

As its name says, it is a Berserkong, quite literal as the one who documented it was tired and cranky so he was lazy in thinking of a better name. The gorilla found a second wind of energy as it retaliated with not regards to its body's situation. Kent then casted a blessing 'Minor Defense' towards the Bear which helped it gather its wits to fight back.
As the fight was getting fiercer and fiercer, a small shadow leaped from the top of the trees and fell straight on top of the large Gorilla. Kent, Ashea and Brendel watch in bated breath as the mystery man held a stick with a harpon and shot it full strength at the forehead of the gorilla.

A sickening sound reverbrated through the forest as the harpoon buried itself on the Gorilla's forehead. But it didn't kill the beast as it roared towards the small annoyance falling towards it. It was about to lift it's arms to swat the annoying bug but it's arms were bit and held down by the Mama Bear who made the Gorilla stay still.
Another sickening sound as Brad had pulled out his warhammer and smashed it on the harpoon like it was a nail burrying it deeper in the skull of the Ape. It's eyes galzed as silence ensued on the forest that calmed down with the Ape staying still like a statue. The bear let go of her bite and the large body of the ape slumped down lifeless.
