"Sophie, the shoot that you had for organic fruits will be over tomorrow. First, we have to go to Sunshine Tech. head office as Chairman Zheng told you. After having a meeting with the CEO, we will head to the outskirts of Beijing. From the day after tomorrow, your schedule is fully packed. You can check here," Ciao said and handed her the tablet.
She read the schedule thoroughly and asked him why all her shoots started after 1 p.m. "Why am I called in the morning when there is no work at those hours?" She lifted her head and glanced at Ciao.
"Yu Junwei has decided on this. Chairman Zheng tried to confront him, but he disagreed. You know how arrogant Junwei is. He needs everything according to him," Ciao stated.
Sophie let out a deep breath and put the tablet on the table.
"I wish he does not bully me," Sophie murmured and asked Ciao if he would like to drink coffee. He refused and asked for the water. Sophie hummed and went to the kitchen. She returned with a glass of water and Ciao thanked her for it.
"Did you ask Secretary Wang if Junwei will ever unblock me?" She asked.
"No. I did not," Ciao refused. "Why do you even want to talk to him? You should only focus on your work," he added.
"You are right. I will be ready by sharp eight in the morning," Sophie stated. Ciao bade her a good night before leaving her apartment. She closed the door and went to the kitchen to cook a light meal for herself. After having dinner, she went to the bedroom taking her phone when it suddenly rang. She checked the name and found out it was an unknown number.
She did not answer it at first, but when she got the call for the second time, she answered it. "Hello," she responded, but she did not hear any voice from the other side. She kept saying hello, but did not get any response. She disconnected it and put the phone on the bedside table.
She almost got into bed when the doorbell rang. "Who could be at this hour?" she mumbled and went to the door. She checked through the doorbell camera but did not find anyone outside. "Who is there?" She asked.
"Miss, this is a present for you." Sophie heard a boy's voice and quickly opened the door. In front of her was around a ten-year-old kid with a box in his hand. She asked him if he knew about her. The boy shook her head and forwarded the box to her.
"It is for you, Miss," the boy said.
Sophie took the box from him and asked the boy who gave this to her. The boy gave her a slight description of the person.
"Did Junwei send this for me? I did not know that he would send a reply to my sorry by sending a gift for me," Sophie murmured. Her face glistened with a smile. She thanked the boy and waved at him as he left her sight. Closing the door, she took the box inside and unboxed the gift that Jun had sent for her.
"Wow! It is such a cute panda soft toy," Sophie said and hugged it tightly. She stood up, held the panda, and started dancing with it.
She came to the bedroom and placed the soft toy on the bedside table. She pinched its nose and went outside to do a light dinner. She was supposed to eat before six in the evening, but could not get time to have dinner.
At that moment, her phone rang and she found it was from Ziyang. She answered the call and brought it to her ear.
She greeted him humbly when Ziyang invited her for a dinner at their house. Sophie readily accepted the invitation and asked for the address.
"I have sent the address to Miss Lin. We will be waiting for her," Ziyang said.
"Yes, Grandpa. I will be there soon," Sophie stated and hung up the call. She smiled and jumped in happiness. "I will have another dinner with Jun. The universe is pushing me toward my love," she said and screamed in happiness.

Junwei looked at the time on his wristwatch and found it was half past nine. He stretched his arms out and leaned back on the swivel chair. His eyes darted at the white ceiling lights and he sighed. His grandfather did not call him once after yesterday neither did his mother.
He knew that they both were upset with him and he decided not to visit them. He did not want to have another argument with them. After staring for a few more minutes at the ceiling, he straightened his back and switched off the computer. He picked up his phone, and car keys and then left the office.
While driving, he only had thoughts of his grandfather and mother. He applied the brakes upon seeing the red traffic light. As the light changed to green, he decided to go and see his family. It was better than being bothered the entire night. He changed lanes and soon, arrived at the apartment where his grandfather and mother were living.
He pressed the bell and waited for his mother to open the door. He had picked his grandfather's favorite donuts as well. As the door opened, he put a tiny smile on her face, but it soon faded as he saw the person before him.
"You?" His brows scrunched as he had not expected this person to be there.
Sophie waved at him and passed him a wide smile. "Welcome home, Jun," Sophie said and gestured to him to come inside.
Junwei stepped in while Sophie closed the door behind her. He removed his shoes and wore the slippers before turning to Sophie.
"What are you doing here?" He asked her.
"Umm… I thought to come here," Sophie said.
"It is not your house where you can come and go anytime," Junwei stated as he gritted his teeth.
"Sophie, who is at the door?" Katie asked as she appeared before them. She saw Junwei and a smile formed on her face.
Junwei walked in and kissed the cheek of his mother. "Sorry for yesterday," Junwei said and asked her where his grandfather was.
"In the living room," Katie said. Junwei hummed and went inside while Katie brought Sophie with her.
"Why are you here?" Ziyang angrily asked Junwei. "Are we not a nuisance for you?" His anger still had not vanished.
Sophie was confused to hear that and looked at Katie.
"Grandpa, I have brought your favorite donuts," Junwei said and went to him. He got on his knees while Ziyang looked away.
"Katie, tell your son that I will not forgive him this time," Ziyang said.
