Junwei found out that Sophie had put such an easier password on the door lock that anyone would guess that. Sophie went in first and then asked Junwei to come. He walked in and closed the door behind him.
"You can wear these slippers," Sophie said and showed him the home slippers. Junwei removed his sneakers and wore the slippers. He followed her inside and sat on the couch. She placed her sling bag on the sofa table and went to the kitchen to fetch water for him.
Sophie fetched water for him and he thanked her before picking up the glass. She sat on the couch across from him and placed her hands over her knees. Junwei put the glass on the table.
"Who gave you the soft toy?" Junwei's sudden question bewildered her. Wasn't he the one who sent it to her? She asked the same from him.
"I never sent any soft toy to you. Why would I do that?" Junwei questioned her.
Sophie started laughing which puzzled Junwei. "Do not be ridiculous, Jun. I know you sent that to me because you liked the flowers I sent to you. Also, I know that you have a crush on me," she made her own deduction.
Junwei rolled his eyes to hear her. "Sophie, you are not my type," he stated.
"That was mean. I am everyone's type," Sophie asserted.
"Correction. You are an ideal type for only 30-40% of men in the country. Not everyone likes you," he affirmed.
"You are so mean," Sophie remarked and twitched her lips in annoyance.
"Just tell me who gave you that soft toy," Junwei asked her again.
"A boy has come. He gave me the man's description, which matched you. I know you are lying to make me sad," Sophie said and pouted her lips.
Junwei could not believe that Sophie took him as that random man. She was indeed into him and he did not like this fact. He wanted to clear her, but before that, he wanted to find out who sent her a random toy and why.
"I never gift anyone except my grandpa and mom," Junwei stated. "Show me the soft toy," he demanded and recalled how the man in the black outfit was chasing Sophie. He was definitely behind her and Junwei had doubts that he was the one who sent this soft toy for her.
Sophie stood up and left for her bedroom. After a minute, she returned with a soft toy in her hand and forwarded it to Junwei. He took it from her and started to examine it. She sat next to him and asked him what he was doing.
She widened her eyes when Junwei tore the soft toy from the top and snatched it from him. "Why did you do that, Jun?!" She was shocked and looked at the soft toy. He took it from her and asked her to stay quiet.
Sophie hit his shoulder and he glared at her. "Tsk. Do not be a crybaby. I will give you better than this," he said to refrain her from shedding tears.
He removed the cotton from the soft toy and then the eyes. He found a small device fit in one of the eyes, which shocked Sophie and she asked Junwei what that was.
"A micro camera," Junwei replied and turned it off.
Sophie covered her mouth with her hand as she was dumbfounded. Chills traveled through her entire body as many thoughts started to pop up in her mind.
"Jun, th-this toy was in my room," Sophie said and lowered her hand. Tears formed in her eyes. "What will happen? What should I do?" She started to tremble in fear.
"When did you get this?" Junwei asked her.
"In the evening before coming to your house," Sophie responded. "I changed my clothes in the bedroom. What if—" she paused and her voice quivered in fear. Tears poured down her cheeks and she asked Jun what she should do.
Junwei frowned and asked her to calm down.
"How can I? He must have seen me without clothes," she said and more tears rolled down her cheeks. She rose to her feet and with her shaky hands, she started to search for her mobile in her sling bag.
"I need to tell Ciao about this," Sophie murmured when her phone rang. She saw an unknown number flashing on the screen. She answered it and after a few seconds, the phone fell from her hand.
Junwei bent down to pick it up and brought it close to his ear.
"If you file a complaint about me, I will upload your video over the entire internet," the man said from the other side. Before Junwei could ask him who he was, the person disconnected the call. He dialed the number back, but it did not connect. He was sure that it was from a burner phone and looked at Sophie.
"Jun, help me," Sophie said with a pleading voice. "He has taken m-my—" she broke into tears again and covered her face with her hands.
