Chapter 8 - Voices

"Roxanne can you have the chef make me something tasty. I'm going to eat in my room tonight?" Lilian told Roxanne.

Roxanne nodded and headed out of the room. Lilian was thinking of much she missed television and her cell phone. She wished she still had it so she could entertain herself during times like these. Esther walked up to her with a bowl of sweet looking candies. Lilian was happy at least she had something regain her energy in the mean time. She opened one out of the wrapper it had an interesting color its was blue with purple swirls and white dots reminding her of the galaxy.

Lilian popped it in her mouth it was sweet and tasted like a strawberry milkshake from WcDonald's. It was so good and nostalgic she almost cried. But how could something here taste like something from her world she wondered.

"It's the world I control, it's easy to replicate a taste from your world." a voice said.

"Did you hear that?" Lilian immediately looked over an asked.

"Hear what my lady?" Arianna responded.

Lilian looked around the room fretting over the voice she heard. She knew she heard the voice it sounded like it came from someone standing right next to her.

"Silly child no one but you can hear me" the voice said with a teasing tone "They would have to be on a higher level to hear my frequency being I am the Goddess here." the voice continued.

What Goddess Lilian thought to herself and as if the voice could read her mind it started laughing at her question.

"Haha these beings believe in the Goddess Rhianna however the real Goddess for this world is me Aria." laughed out the goddess.

"So Aria if you're the Goddess to this world were you the one who brought me here?" Lilian asked inside her mind.

"Yes I did I answered the prayers to two women who were pathetically bored heheehe." Aria answered mocking her.

Aria seemed more like a demon or devil than a goddess with her taunting, Lilian thought to herself. Lilian pondered by what she meant when she said two women. Did she perhaps mean Lizbeth she continued thinking.

Aria's voice interrupted her thinking "Ding ding ding yes you're correct you and that woman seemed pathetically bored. Also how could you compare me to a vile demon. I just enjoy teasing others." she mentioned.

"Why would Lizbeth be bored she had everything?" Lilian asked inside her thoughts.

"Just because someone has an enjoyable life style with an exceptional spouse does not mean they're truly enjoying life." Aria rebutted.

Hearing these words Lilian wondered why Lizbeth would want to give up this life. It was a nice life it would make more sense if she gave it up if her past circumstances continued. But Leon finds her and she weds him to become the Queen here and help rule by his side. She had real love, citizens who loved her, maids who cared eternally for her and she never had to worry about life outside the castle walls. That's when it dawned on Lilian, it was a book though it was all a prewritten out fate and being stuck somewhere with same routine would get boring. That is what happened to her as well. Maybe Leon didn't really love Lizbeth since it was all already written out.

"Now you're getting somewhere." Aria said as if she was grinning somewhere.

"So what can I do? I didn't ask to come here! If Leon didn't truly love her then how could he actually love me? What would even be the difference?!" Lilian began to bombard Aria with questions.

"It's true he may not have truly loved her as she was Lizbeth the one who was written to be with him. But you are you, you're not Lizbeth your actions your dialogue is determimed by you." Aria answered.

"Oh its almost time for me to go.." Aria said becoming distorted "you want to open your circles like Lizbeth did right? So listen well you will need to focus on your mana and have it aim to your core each time will hurt more but if you train you will be able to do it." Aria finished speaking almost in a whisper.

Wait..wait Lilian thought to herself. There's more that she wanted to know. More she needed to know how did the novel finish when their wedding ceremony came. Also she wondered what would be the consequences to changing the script. Lastly if she wanted to return would she be able to.

Roxanne came back into the room with food in arm. She looked over to Lilian who appeared pale as if she saw a ghost. Roxanne walked over to Lilian and placed her hand on Lilian's shoulder. Lilian looked up towards Roxanne, Lilian's face seemed distressed.

Lilian's hands were shaking a bit. This new information was vital even if it was half-assed. She continued contemplating inside. Would she be able to return or was this really her new life? If it was permanent, what should her next move be? So many questions and now her head felt like it was splitting.

Lilian looked at the table there was steak with mashed potatoes and freshly cooked brocolli and cauliflower. It looked delicious but her stomach felt nauseated.

A knock was heard from the door Lilian didn't want to deal with anymore company for the day. She remembered what Rivar said about being more dressed for an audience. She looked over to the door debating on answering to the person behind it.

" Who is it?" Lilian asked.

" It's me Leon." he answered.

Lilian sighed deeply furrowing her brows. She hadn't decided how to deal with Leon or what her next step for him would be. Should she bother pretending to be Lizbeth, should she be honest or should she be herself assuming this identity. There was a never-ending twist when ever she find peace.

" I am indecent your Magesty." she yelled to him.

" Why aren't you coming to dine with me?" he asked.

" Due to me running around I am now feeling faintish and tired. I have changed for bed and decided to dine in." she rebutted.

" May I dine in their with you my lady?" Leom sincerely asked.

She was not in the best of moods neither did she think it was a good idea. But Leon came this far knowing what Rivar reported he most likely knew Lilian didn't want to be around him at this moment. Lilian believed there to be no point in trying to rebutt him as he would probably come in anyways.

" You may enter your magesty." Lilian said to him.

Leon walked in with a different outfit on. His clothes were of a more relaxed tone. A bare collar shirt that showed his toned out muscles and ripped pecks. His muscles looked as if it they wanted rip out of the shirt. He walked over to the sofa across from her and sat down looking at her food that seemed to be warm with no bites taken yet.

" Are you feeling ill my Lady, you haven't taken a bite?" he questioned her.

Leon stared at her sheer robe and dress it was too much. He could see too much he thought. She was truly indecent maybe it would have been better to leave her be he wondered. Her breast were popping through showing their every detail. Her thin arms and voluptuous thighs as she sat there looking at her food.

"Where is your food your Magesty? It be rude of me to dine in front of you before you could eat even a morsel." Lilian said in a stern tone.

Leon looked up at Eliouse " could you get me a plate of what she's having please?" he asked the maid near Lilian.

Eliouse nodded and smiled she left the room to retrieve the food. Leon sat there watching Lilian who started to cut her steak into small pieces. Soon Eliouse returned as well with Leon's plate once her started cutting his food as well Lilian took a bite. It was delicious to her it wasn't very fat but she could taste all the flavors in it like it bathed in some of the fat. She sipped from her cup of wine to wash it down.

Leon took a bite following Lilian's previous actions. He looked up at Lilian her hair flowed down flowing down her porcelain arms. She was like an immaculate piece of art even as she dined she was beutiful. The way he felt watching her was different than when they were children. Before he felt like he could chase her endlessly but the woman sitting in front of him made him want to raise an army to guard and protect her.

" I am sorry if my actions bothered you my Lady, it was not my intention to offend you." Leom told her.

" You must not concern yourself over me your highness I am nothing of importance compared to you." she said in return.

" When we were children before I could only see myself following you endlessly trying to catch up to you. Now with you in front of me I feel different." he said.

" How do you menan sire?" she asked wondering.

" The woman I see now makes me want to hold on to her and protect her. You draw me in with a unique sorrow that seems to follow you. " Leon answered.

What did he mean by that Lilian was confused. Leon never said anything like that to the original Lizbeth. Things seemed to be changing already without her trying to make them. Was that a good thing she wondered. The sorrow he spoke of could he be talking about how she felt in her old world she kept pondering all of this.

" I hope someday you will open up to me my Lady. As I said before I would like to know all of you once you're ready. " he said to her watching her expressions for the minor details she'd try to hide.

" Well your Majesty if that day does ever come you may not want me as you do now." Lilian replied.

Still standing there Leon began to speak " No matter what side you show me and no matter what secrets you share I will stay by your side earnestly. "

Lilian sat there omce again blushing by his words unable to answer. She did not know how to take them. With her talk with Aria she understood that just possibly Leon could actually have feelings for her as Lilian and not as Lizbeth.

" As we have finished dining I shall take my leave my Lady. Have a pleasant evening and I hope you sleep well. " Leon told her as he left the room.
