Upon hearing the Overlord's laugh, the current crown prince, Prince Lucas's older brother, Prince Austin, suddenly stepped up. He shouted as the Overlord was laughing, "Haha! Like Father like son! The two of you are really useless!"
"How dare you insult my son!?" Prince Lucas shouted in raging tone.
It was the first time that Prince Heracles saw his father being angered. He decided not to speak as his father argued with his brother, the crown prince.
The two eldest princes of the Domain continued to argue with each other because of their own pride. After a few minutes of insulting each other, Overlord Xavier shouted at the top of his lungs, "SILENCE, YOU TWO!"
Upon hearing the highest authority on the continent, the two princes immediately stopped barking at each other. No one among them dared to utter a word before their father could speak to them.
"Congratulations on getting a system, my grandson!" said the Overlord as soon as the two stopped bickering. Prince Heracles was about to say something when Overlord Xavier blurted more words.
The Overlord said with a resolute expression, "UNFORTUNATELY, your system is not that unique to be valued highly! I have many subordinates with the Sword Vulcan system, after all. Now, the two of you can take your leave! I have more important businesses to attend to right now!"
"We will take our leave, then, Greatest Sun of the Domain!" Prince Lucas said with a serious expression as he pull his son toward the exit.
After reaching a certain distance, Prince Lucas suddenly glanced in his son's direction. He said to him with a sad expression, "I am very sorry, son, for bringing you here. I thought he will be not be indifferent to you like he did to me!"
"It's okay, Dad! I expected nothing from him, anyway. More importantly, you promised me something, Dad! I have a lot to buy after I received a main quest from the system!" Prince Heracles said with a smile on his face.
"Let's go, then! We have a lot of time since we just stayed here for a few minutes. Let's buy everything that you want!" said Prince Lucas said with a smile.
Upon hearing him, Heracles excitedly ran toward the carriage. Prince Lucas thought to himself as he observed his son running, 'He is really a resilient kid! Father is fucking the same! He is treating his grandson like he treated me when I was a kid! There's no redeeming for a scum like he is!'
Before Prince Lucas could leave the Samuel Palace, he met his mother, the Overlady of the whole Domain. "Son, I heard that you came here with my grandson," said the Overlady upon seeing her second son.
"Greetings, Mother! Yes, I came here with Heracles, but he went ahead of me because of his extreme excitement," said Prince Lucas in response.
Overlady Amelia laughed a little after hearing his son. When she observed his son's expression, she sighed a little. She said to him at the next moment, "Your father didn't treat you well, again, huh?"
"It's nothing new, Mother. He's been like that my whole life. The only thing that I couldn't accept is how he treated my son! How could he be indifferent to his grandson!?" Prince Lucas said in frustration.
"Forgive your father, my son. He experienced the same from your grandfather. As a result, his heart blackened up to that point," said Overlady Amelia.
"I have nothing to say about him, Mother. The only thing that I could think of now is the future of my son and wife. I will do my very best to provide them with a bright future!" said Prince Lucas with a resolute expression.
"Be wary of your first brother. He is plotting something against you and your family. He is my first child, but I am unable to prevent him from getting astray from the right path!" said the dejected Overlady.
"I know that you did your best raising us, Mother. Don't blame yourself like that. My brother just became arrogant because of how he is getting treated by Father. It's not your fault at all," said Prince Lucas as he comfort his mother.
"Still, I am his mother. If only I became better in my job!" said the Overlady.
"Don't blame yourself, Mother. It is not your fault at all. I have to take my leave now. Heracles must be eagerly waiting for me in the carriage now," Prince Lucas said as he hugged his mother.
"Have a safe journey, son. Visit me again if you have time," said the Overlady with a soft smile. "I will visit you with Heracles and Lara next time, Mother. Please keep yourself safe in this palace!" said Prince Lucas before leaving.
After saying goodbye to his mother, Prince Lucas decided to leave Samuel Palace once and for all. With a smile on his face, he entered his carriage as he said to Heracles, "Sorry for being late! I talked with your grandmother."
"You talked with grandma!? Why didn't you call me, Dad!?" Heracles said in response. "You are too excited to go out, so I thought you never want to be delayed. We can visit your grandmother later, anyway. Let us depart for now," said Prince Lucas with a smile.
"Okay! Let's go to a blacksmith, Dad! I want to buy my forge and tools!" Heracles said with a smile. "I have a place in mind! Let's find you a master as we buy some forge! You can't learn the art of blacksmithing by yourself, after all!" said Prince Lucas with a smile on his face.
Heracles suddenly became extremely excited after hearing his father. "Really!? Mr. Driver, go to our destination at once! We need to arrive at our destination as soon as possible!" said the excited Heracles as his eyes sparkled with excitement.
At the next moment, Prince Lucas said to the driver, "Bring us to All-Star Blacksmith! The famous blacksmith that we can find in the central park!"
