Chapter 11 - 11. King Carlin Anger

King Carlin clenched his fists at his only daughter's words. This was the first time that Princess Cerllynda had spoken so loudly, not in her voice, but in her loud words.

"Shut up!"

One word that can silence Princess Cerllynda's mouth. The girl wiped her tears and silently stared at her father with a sad look. King Carlin heaved a heavy sigh and sat down beside his beloved daughter.

"That young man has made you against your own father for the first time, if only you were not my favorite daughter, I would have punished you severely. Listen to me my daughter, I will give a chance to your love. But, you must remember carefully if after this I don't approve of you, don't ever force me and marry the young man of my choice. Bring the young man who made you fall in love and oppose your father to my kingdom!" King Carlin firmly restrained his emotions not to be too angry with his daughter.

"Of course Dad, of course. Thank you very much Dad for the opportunity!" Princess Cerllynda exclaimed happily, even so she was so happy she hugged her father who was still holding back his ego and anger for the sake of his beloved daughter.

"Save your thanks for later My daughter, bring the young man tomorrow morning," said King Carlin in a tone of voice forced to calm. She let go of Princess Cerllynda's arms and left her child alone in the room.

Princess Cerllynda smiled happily, watching her father's burly back come out of his room. He seemed to get the green light to unite with Gressylia. In fact, with this happiness, Princess Cerllynda forgot the angry look in her father's eyes. The point is that he is happy and doesn't care about his father who is now suppressing his emotions that continue to fluctuate without stopping.

Princess Cerllynda who got the opportunity immediately grabbed the paper and pen. He started engraving letter by letter on the paper, then rolled it up and tied it with red ribbon. A dove that he called came to the window of Princess Cerllynda's room which was deliberately opened to welcome the dove.

"Please send this letter, yes," said Princess Cerllynda while stroking the feathers of the white dove's head after tying the letter to the bird's leg.

Releasing the bird into the air, the white dove flew with the wind that continued to blow non-stop.

Princess Cerllynda kept an eye on every beat of the bird's wings, flying away until it was out of sight. The bird continued to fly with the flock in the air, past rivers, countryside, trees and the scorching sun. He continued to fly without stopping to meet his destination.

Until finally a white dove perched on the hand of someone who was sitting under a shady tree with sweat all over his body showing that he was tired.

He winced at the sight of the bird quietly perched on his arm. He saw a scroll of paper which he believed was a letter. He slowly released the roll of paper from the dove's feet slowly.

He never opened the roll of paper, while the dove had returned to flying after the roll of paper reached the person he was aiming for. After a few seconds of staring at the scroll, he finally decided to open it. And, read it slowly.

"Greetings Gressylia.

I purposely sent this letter to you, I hope you can understand what I want to say to you.

First, I want to tell you that this morning, I rejected the four of them and said you were my choice to my father. I know my father is very angry with me. But, of course you know Gress, if love can't be forced, right? My father finally gave me the opportunity to make you my husband, Gress.

Tomorrow, I will come to you in the morning. Leave your work for a while, I beg you. I want to see you, Gress. I hope my father will approve of you to be my husband.

Gress, I'm sorry if you think I'm selfish and self-serving, really, I apologize to you Gress. Even so because I know you love me Gress, as much as I do. I have fought for this, I beg you too to fight for our love.

I love you Gressylia.

Greeting from me, Princess Cerllynda."

Gressylia squeezed the paper in her hand lightly. To be honest, he was at a loss as to what to do to meet Putri Cerllynda tomorrow. From the arrival of the first letter, Gressylia hoped that Princess Cerllynda would not do that. He felt that everything would be for nothing. He felt like a coward who couldn't fight for his love by giving up so easily. Even more cowardly because he left Princess Cerllynda to fend for herself.

"The selfish princess. You make me confused, you make me like a coward. Even I don't seem like a great man, I am very coward. Do I have to fulfill your request and fight for this love," Gressylia whispered as she closed her eyes.

"What's wrong Broter, why do you look upset?" said Rina, surprising Gressylia and at the same time making her open her eyes when she heard her little sister's voice.

"I'm nothing," Gressylia said wearily.

"Brother, I know what is happening to you. You know that if Princess Cerllynda fought for your love with her, why did you feel like a coward? struggling," said Rana who was like an adult advising.

Gressylia ruffled Rana's long hair fondly. He didn't expect his little brother to be more mature. They even discussed love, he was only 4 years old, he wondered where his little sister learned from.

"How do you know about love huh? Rana, Rina, my adorable little sister. Since when did you become an adult. Don't bother me, I'm going to sleep," said Gressylia as she left her two sisters. Day by day, the two twin sisters always act more and more mature every day.

Rana and Rina looked at each other seeing their older brother's back leaving the two of them into the hut. They were still standing tall under a shady tree near the lake where the water continued to flow very calmly.

"Rana, you better keep quiet. Don't interfere with the Princess or Brother Gress's business. They are more mature than us, I'm sure Brother Gress will do the best for Princess Cerllynda, because we know Broteher Gress loves the Princess!"

This time, Rana was silent when he heard the words of his twin sister, realizing that he too often interfered with adult affairs, so that sometimes Gressylia had to be reproached because of Rana or Rina who tried to help Gressylia.

"You're is right, Rina. Sometimes Brother Gressylia has to be ashamed and reproached just because we interfere with adult affairs," final Rana, who is now sitting under a shady tree, enjoying the breeze that keeps blowing non-stop.

"I just want the best for Brother Gress," Rana whispered with her gaze looking far ahead.

"Me too, but we don't need to be too involved in all of Broter Gressylia's problems," said Rina who sat beside her twin sister.
