Ignatius looked at Alastor and readied his sword. He dashed to Alastor and attempted to cut and slash him with his sword. Alastor swiftly and smoothly slid backwards, avoiding Ignatius's attacks. I appeared behind Alastor and attempted a roundhouse kick. Alastor dodged the attack then warped behind me. A giant spirit hand grabbed me then threw me to the side. I groaned as I crashed into a wall.
Ignatius began surfing on his flames then surrounded his sword in flames and bellowed. "Final Burst!" He bellowed and slashed upwards. A burst of flame pillars erupted around him.
Alastor created a spirit barrier to block the attack and smirked. "I can see...you hold the Holy Power like your friend, Rosenea who wields Holy Nature power. Show me more.."
Ignatius bellowed and his eyes shined then he slashed his sword at Alastor quickly then slashed in a circular motion with flames infused with his weapon. Alastor dodged and formed an energy blade around his hand to block Ignatius's circular slash. He slid backwards and smirked then warped behind Ignatius then chopped his neck.
Ignatius looked surprised and his aura vanished. Alastor used his Aura Negation ability to stop Ignatius's flow of aura. Ignatius fell on one knee, feeling weaker.
"In the end, you are still a mere human battling a Deity. I'll give you credit where credit is due...you survived longer than the normal human would." Alastor smirked then looked surprised when he was cut on his cheek.
I appeared in front of him with my back towards him. My End Crest of Omega shined and I was in my Ragnarok State at 50%. I stood up straight then turned around to look at Alastor.
"So, it seems like you wish to get serious. Well come Ragnarok, show me your powers." Alastor smirked and looked at me.
I glared at Alastor then fused my Ascended Form with my Ragnarok State then spread my wings and flew to him at high speeds. I bellowed and teleported behind him then kicked him. Alastor was surprised as I was able to hit him. He grunted then turned around with a swing with his fist, but I dodged his attack and punched his stomach then uppercut his chin, sending him flying. I roared and used my aura to strike his body, causing massive damage to him. Alastor groaned as he was being damaged by my aura.
I teleported above him then summoned an energy ball and pressed it against his body then it exploded, sending him crashing to the ground at high speeds. Alastor bounced back up off the ground then I flew down with a powerful punch on his stomach, creating a crater in the ground with my raw power.
Ignatius looked surprised at my power then stood up slowly. "He's so strong...I can feel his power radiating from here.."
Alastor stood up and chuckled then looked at me. He moved his hair from his face then his eyes shined. "That's the kind of power I like...heh...it has been a while since someone was able to hit me.."
I looked at Alastor then lightning crackled around my body.
"That look of yours...the same look Shidao had when we faced off. Truly magnificent! Truly wonderful! You always talk about how you aren't anything like your father, but you are a spitting image of him. Same mannerisms, the same arrogance when you fight even though you don't show it when you're serious." Alastor laughed.
Fujo ran into the room and Alastor looked back at him. Fujo looked at me and looked pretty surprised. "Shiryo.."
"Heh...the stepbrothers unite once again." Alastor said.
Raicho watched from a distance and noticed Fujo's change. She noticed how much more mentally unstable Fujo looked. "What the hell..? Is he even the same Fujo..?"
Alastor smirked and closed his eyes then held his arms out then opened his eyes again. "Before we start our grand battle, I would like for you all to witness TRUE greatness!"
We all watched Alastor and the Light Medallion appeared in front of him. Fujo glared and was ready to attack. Alastor floated in the air and looked at us.
"The Light Medallion?! Where's Icas if you have it?" I asked.
"Right here.." Alastor smirked and showed Icas's and Blight's lifeless bodies and we looked surprised. "Their biggest mistake was trusting me, setting me free. They only got in the way of my my plan. I am Alastor Catastrophe, Deity of Souls...and with my strength, not only will I retrieve the Six Medallions...but I will kill you and your sister, Shiryo. Icas and Blight were mere distractions. I will also use a third material.."
The soul of Shidao appeared in front of Alastor. My eyes widened and I noticed the three souls turned into energy balls then fuse with him.
"With these souls...and the Light Medallion, I will become a being of absolution. A being unlike any other. The world is mine. The entire galaxy is mine! The UNIVERSE is mine!" Alastor laughed and began to transform. His hair slowly turned a blueish silver color, his eyes shined a gold color. The End Crests of Final Judgement, Omega, and Nostradamus shined on his arm.
"This power...I can't even sense it anymore.." Ignatius said.
Fujo growled softly and glared at Alastor. "Now you're the main threat huh..? No matter...I'll defeat you no matter the number of Crests you possess! I will rip that Medallion out of your body...even if it's the last fucking thing I ever do in this life!"
"Oh..? Let me see you try.." Alastor smirked as black and red lightning crackled around his body. He landed on the ground and looked at us.
Fujo grunted as he lowered his body. He gripped his spear tightly then dashed to Alastor with a roar. He trusted his spear at Alastor. Alastor held his hand out then a powerful force of energy blew him away. Fujo looked surprised then crashed into the wall and light energy spikes went through his arms and legs, pinning him to the wall.
I looked surprised and looked at Fujo. "Fujo!"
"He isn't my target, so I showed him mercy. You however...are my target. I won't show you any mercy." Alastor said and pointed at me.
I grunted as the Valor of Ruin forcefully left my body then floated into his hand. I looked at Alastor then the Crest of Deviation shined on my hand.
"We can't fight him. We will lose! Our best option is to retreat!" Alethea said.
"And let him get Ignelgia?! Fuck that! I won't let him! We've come so far just to retreat now?!" I said.
"I'd listen to her this time, Shiryo. Me and her don't always agree on things, but this is the one time we agree on something." Ain said.
"You too..?!" I asked.
"This is a threat we know nothing about. He's never appeared in the other timeline, plus he has three of the four End Crests. We can't win this battle." Ain said.
I looked at Alastor and sighed then back down. "I have a proposal, Alastor."
"What is it?" Alastor asked.
"I will offer you a deal. You let us take Ignelgia and the Flame Medallion in exchange you get to battle me at full power the next time we cross paths. Wouldn't it be much better to have a battle where we are at full power? That's what my father would've wanted." I said.
"Heh...a negotiation I see. Hmph." Alastor smirked then tossed me the Light Medallion. I caught it and looked at it. "Fine. I would much rather kill you at your strongest...but I am not leaving out of here empty handed."
Alastor flew out of the castle and I sensed great danger then flew after Alastor. Alastor flew right to Flaire and grabbed her neck.
"Flaire!" Rosenea yelled and looked surprised.
"Who is that?!" Skye asked in shock.
Flaire grunted and choked as she struggled to free herself from Alastor's grasp.
"I won't kill you, but I'll be taking something very important..." Alastor smirked as he began to extract her End Crest of Armageddon from her body. Flaire screamed in pain as her Crest was extracted from her body.
"Let her go!" I bellowed.
"Have her!" Alastor said then threw Flaire at me.
I caught Flaire and looked at her. She was barely holding onto life. I looked at Alastor. "Bastard!"
Alastor smirked then laughed. "Until we meet again, Ragnarok. I'll leave you alone for now, but I won't be making your journey easy." Alastor flew into the sky and disappeared.
I used my Crest of Magology to use Animancy and generated Life Force into Flaire's body keeping her alive. Ignatius hurried towards me and looked at Flaire in my arms. Raicho also came outside to check things out.
"She's alive...but she's gonna be out of commission for a while.." I said.
Ignatius looked at Flaire and took her from my arms. He was happy she was still alive, but he hated what happened to her.
"Everyone!" Avant said as he hurried over to us. He noticed Flaire in Ignatius's hands then looked surprised. He hurried over to them. "What happened?!"
"Alastor happened.." Ignatius said. "She's still alive thanks to Shiryo's help, but she suffered a great loss.."
"Her Crest is gone." Avant said as he looked at her hand.
"Uhm.." Raicho said then looked at us.
I turned around to look at Raicho. "You're still alive..?"
"I am a very potent samurai and warrior. Erin on the other hand is dead yes. I know what I have done isn't excusable in the slightest and I won't blame you for killing me right here. Alastor has turned traitorous and plans to do something more sinister than Icas could ever imagine. Because he's the Deity of Souls, he can resurrect the Banished Legends without the Medallions, but it'll take time. I know I was working with the League, but that was only because I couldn't betray them. Both Blight and Icas were vastly stronger than me." Raicho said.
I looked at Raicho and everyone looked at me.
"Are you going to let her join our side? She was the one who assisted in this mess!" Avant said.
"I don't know, adding her to our side can prove to have some form of good outcome. She's an amazing fighter, with some amazing technology and skills on her. Killing her would be a waste." Aaron said.
I looked at Raicho as her fate rested on my hands. I walked to Raicho and she watched. I placed my hand on her shoulder then pulled her behind me and caught Fujo's spear. His spear disappeared and returned to his hand.
"What...are you doing Shiryo..? Get out of the way!" He bellowed.
I looked at Fujo then looked back at Raicho. "I know she killed Grandpa. I know the wrong she's caused, but she's the only one who knows the terrors of Alastor's power. That's the only reason I'm keeping her alive, otherwise she would've been dead." I said then looked at Fujo.
"Fool...You fool! Keeping the enemy alive?! Are you stupid?!" Fujo yelled.
"Fujo..." Shira said as she looked at the mentally unstable Fujo.
"To think my own brother would turn his back...on his own family." Fujo said.
"Spin it however you want Fujo, but the fact remains that she's important. I don't do anything for no reason and you know that!" I said.
Fujo chuckled softly and placed his had on the right side of his face. He laughed and looked at me.
I held my hand out then looked at Fujo. "If you want her dead...you have to get through me. I don't want it to come down to a fight between us. I've always looked up to you so I don't want to have to fight you!"
"Fine...have it your way." Fujo said then dark aura surrounded his body. "If you don't move, I'll just have to make you move...or I'll just kill you out right! You're already targeted by half the world anyway...you would be at peace dead."
I looked at Fujo then got ready then my eyes shined. "Fujo, don't make me hurt you."
"You should've just listen!" Fujo dashed to me.
I watched him and dodged his attack. I pulled Raicho to me and he slid forward then adjusted his body, swinging his spear. I groaned as he cut my left eye. I held my eye and grunted.
"Grandpa always taught you to never look away from the enemy!" Fujo yelled and slashed down at me.
I used my aura to block his attack then I looked at Fujo and noticed his wicked smile. "Stop this Fujo! Stop it! I understand Grandpa was important to us, but we have to focus on the bigger picture now! Our world is in danger! Worry about Raicho later!"
"All of this trouble...was brought upon us because of your stupid mother! If only...if only she never married my father! Grandpa would've never died!" Fujo yelled.
Shira and I were hurt by his words. He could've been speaking from pure sadness and rage, but I could sense a bit of hatred in his voice. It was almost like...he hated us now.
I grabbed his spear and pulled him to me then headbutted him. He groaned and stumbled backwards, holding his forehead. I grabbed his arm and flung him away from Shira and the others. He rolled on his side then stood up.
"How could you say that..? How could you say that about Mom?!" I bellowed. "We did nothing wrong! The world hates us because of our father! A man who never loved us from the start! You never had to put up with the shit me and Shira went through! Constantly fighting our way for a normal life we will never receive! Our mother put her life on the line for us time and time again and you say that shit?!"
Fujo smirked and looked at me. "Heh...my point still stands. The Ragnaroks are the enemy after all. I mean the entire world knows of your history. When that one armed bitch killed Grandpa, she said you can thank Shidao for it...The very moment you were brought up, I never trusted you because I knew of your history. My father fell in love with Reina because her beauty was supernatural. Everyone loved her, but I hated her...but she grew on me and I kinda forgot why I hated her until now. Because of her...My mother never came around again. Because of her, MY grandparents never saw me as their little one anymore. Just like Shidao I merely played a part...I remember why I hate you. It's because your Bloodline is nothing short of bad news.." Fujo glared at me.
I looked at Fujo then black lightning crackled around my body.
"Shiryo, make him stop!" Shira said with overwhelming sadness. "This isn't the Fujo I know and love!"
"And you...Shira the damsel in distress. I hated how you would always cry and whine because of the most trival shit and Grandma kept babying you. Shiryo was more tolerable but you were the annoying one out of the two..." Fujo said.
Shira teared up and her lip quivered. Shira had tears rolling down her cheeks. "Why..?"
Phoenix hugged Shira and glared at Fujo. "Hey asshole! No one makes Shira cry! What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
My face went from a hurt expression to pure anger. "Has he always felt like this..?"
"Unfortunately yes." Minerva said. "It's hard to believe but he's always had this malice for you and your mother and sister. Even in the previous timeline.."
I held the right side of my face and gripped my hair. "Is that so...? I won't feel bad for doing this then..."
Fujo grunted and felt my aura surge powerfully. He looked at me and noticed my form then looked surprised. "What is this power..?"
The Crest of Absence shined brightly on my hand. I looked at Fujo then my eyes shined brightly. "Pandora."
A burst of Nothingness exploded around the area. All of the nothingness energy surrounded Fujo and formed a box around him.
"That's some high tier magic.." Aaron said in shock.
"Fujo...Opening or merely breaking out this box will kill you instantly. This skill is a skill called Pandora. There's no living this attack if you choose to break the box. You're too dangerous to be left here. You know of my past, well I also know of yours. The malicious intentions you hold for me and my family...I'm sorry it has to end this way, but I have a world to save. A universe if it comes to that...I refuse to have you roaming around and being another enemy." I said.
"You can't do this to me! I won't allow you to do this, Ragnarok! You caused all of this! Your bloodline caused all of this! You can not punish me!" Fujo roared.
"Goodbye, 'Brother'." I said. "Endless Dreamscape."
I snapped my fingers and a magic symbol shined, putting Fujo into an endless dream state then a void opened under the box and black chains surrounded the box and dragged it down into the void with Fujo inside. The void closed and I lowered my arm.
Shira cried softly in Phoenix's arms. It was the final time we would ever see Fujo, our older brother.
"At least technically did save his life. With him being in an endless dream state that can't be broken unless you stop it, he will be alright in the Void Dimension." Alethea said.
I looked at my hand as black lightning crackled around it. I used up all of my magic energy performing Pandora and Endless Dreamscape. "Let's keep going. Phoenix, I'm leaving you in charge of Shira for now."
"You can count on me.." Phoenix nodded.
"Let's go Ignatius. We have a Flame Medallion to obtain now that we don't have any more enemies to worry about for now." I said then walked ahead.
"Right.." Ignatius said then handed Flaire to Avant and followed me.
"The rest of you don't have to come with. The rest should be simple." I said.
They decided to not come with and Avant led then to his ship.
