Shidao stopped the motorcycle and got off. He got Hecate off the motorcycle as well. Hecate looked at the mansion in front of them.
"Where are we..?" Hecate asked.
"We are about to kill some of my old enemies...just so I won't have to deal with them in the future when I take your sister's hand in marriage as well." Shidao smirked.
Reina made it to the location as well and put her hood on. She got off Blitz's back and made herself invisible and hurried over to the mansion. Tackling Shidao head on wasn't the best choice and she knew that.
Shidao dragged Hecate with him and she slightly tried to resist. He elbowed her stomach and Hecate groaned. "Stop resisting, meat shield." Shidao said.
Reina witnessed it, but had to control herself as she didn't want to get caught. She watched as Shidao kicked the mansion door open.
The organization looked at Shidao and their leader looked at him and Hecate.
"Well well, if it ain't Shidao Ragnarok." The man said and smirked at Shidao. "To what do I owe this pleasure of seeing you today?"
Shidao smirked and looked at the leader. "Well...I'm here to end everything. I've stood idle for too long, so this is where it ends."
Hecate grunted as she tried to break free from Shidao's grip. "Run! Run away if you value your lives! He's not just here to kill you! He wants your Crest!"
"Is that so..?" The man said.
Shidao looked at Hecate and smirked. He looked back at the man then threw her on the ground. "Well she ruined the surprise, so I guess we will have to get right to it! Shall we, Blight?"
Shidao transformed into his Ruin Ragnarok State and the energy frightened Hecate and Reina. His energy was so dark and extremely destructive.
Blight looked at Shidao and pushed up his glasses and smirked. His demon wing emerged from his back then he looked at Shidao. "Kill him."
Blight's men roared and charged at Shidao. They all slashed at him, but Shidao swapped places with Hecate. Hecate looked surprised and she ended up getting cut up by their swords and she screamed in pain as their weapons burned her.
Shidao dashed to Blight and gripped his neck. "Now it ends..."
Blight smirked and pressed a button. A laser beam struck Shidao's neck and Shidao looked surprised then dropped Blight. "Better luck next time, Ragnarok.." Blight vanished and his men vanished as well.
Reina became visible again and ran to Hecate. "Cate! Cate!" She got on the ground and held Hecate's body in her arms.
Hecate grunted softly and looked at Reina. "Reina.." She smiled and held her cheek gently.
"I'm so glad you're okay.." Reina smiled and helped her up. "Come on we have to get away from here."
Shidao smirked and his wound healed then he looked back at the Serene Sisters then pointed at Hecate and she froze, not being able to move. "Where do you think you're going..?"
"Cate!" Reina yelled and tried to pull her, but Shidao appeared in front of Reina and kicked her away from Hecate. Reina groaned and rolled backwards then laid on her side. She coughed as she was hit with a powerful blow from Shidao. She slowly stood up and white lightning crackled around her body. "Leave her alone! Give my sister back to me!"
Reina yelled and dashed to Shidao then jumped up and kicked at him. He grabbed her leg then pulled her to him and palmed her stomach. Reina coughed up blood then was sent flying into a tree and groaned as she hit her back on the tree. She fell to the ground.
Shidao smirked and looked at Hecate then set her free from the frozen spell. He dragged her to the motorcycle and got on. He was clearly angry but put on a smile for Reina to see.
Reina had tears in her eyes as she tried to get up and make it to Hecate. "Give my Cate back...give me...my sister.." Reina passed out due to exhaustion.
Shidao drove off and went back home. Blitz hurried over to Reina and checked up on her. He whinnied loudly and a bright light shined on Reina. Reina grunted and opened her eyes slowly. Blitz looked down at Reina and helped her up.
Shidao and Hecate made it home and Hecate was now in full panic mode as she was being dragged by Shidao by her hair. They went down to the basement and she screamed and cried. He threw her on a chair and chained her up.
"Please I'm sorry!" Hecate cried as she struggled to free herself from the chains. She began moving erratically and cried.
"You ruined something that was going to change the flow of the world. He had something I needed and you ruined it...so that's why I'm going to punish you.." Shidao smirked and got his torture tools ready.
Hecate watched him and panicked. She noticed torture tools that only an Evil Overlord would use on their prisoners. He grabbed a large mirror and set it in front of her.
"The Mirror of Insanity...All of your inner insanity will be amplified to the maximum effect and you'll be looking into this mirror for a LONG time!" Shidao smirked and chuckled.
"No...Please! I'm already unstable as is!" Hecate begged.
"Shut up!" He said then walked to her and chained her neck in cuffs so she couldn't move her head.
"I'll do anything, just please don't do this!" Hecate sobbed.
Shidao ignored her and walked to the mirror. He activated the mirror and Hecate closed her eyes and tried to ignore it, but Shidao pried her eyes open, forcing her to look in the mirror and see her inner insane side. She screamed and witnessed her insanity. She cried and tried to break free. Her reflection laughed maniacally.
Shidao watched Hecate and smirked. "Embrace your insanity! You are her and she is you!" Shidao laughed.
Hecate stomped her feet and tried to break out and yelled, firing bolts of flames out of her mouth. She roared and her roars echoed throughout the basement.
Three days pass since the first torture procedure happened. Shidao walked back down in the basement and looked at Hecate who was sleeping on the floor, chained up. She heard the sounds of footsteps and woke up then sat up. Shidao sat in a chair in front of her and had a plate of a mouthwatering and delicious dish. She looked at him and was hungry as she hasn't eaten in the past days of straight torture.
"Hungry..?" Shidao asked and looked at her.
She nodded and tried to move forward but her chains stopped her.
"Well to eat, you must endure an entire day of lashes from me." Shidao smirked and stood up.
"Please...I can't take it anymore...I'm so hungry. Thirsty...I just want to be free. We...we can make love as my apology...take advantage of my body. Impregnate me if you wish..I just want to be free.." Hecate said.
"That deal sounds tempting, but unfortunately there are no negations going on anymore. I'll make you obey my EVERY command. You'll never disobey me any longer after I'm done torturing you." Shidao said as he grabbed his black leather whip.
Hecate grunted and tried to break out. She panted and looked up at Shidao. "Please...I beg..."
"No negations!" He bellowed and whipped her.
Hecate screamed in pain and groaned.
Reina rode on Blitz's back and rode to Shidao's house. She was determined to set Hecate free no matter what it cost her. She stopped in front of the house and got off Blitz's back then walked toward the front door. She rang the door bell.
Shidao heard the doorbell and grumbled. "I'll be right back. I'll leave you to listen to soothing words of encouragement while you wait for my return." He said then grabbed a giant statue of a gaping wide demon mouth. He turned on the statue and the whispers of degrading and unmotivating words began to speak in her ears constantly. She listened to the whispers and it drove her even further in her insanity.
"No...please just kill me...I can't handle this anymore..." Hecate begged for Shidao to kill her.
Shidao left the basement room and walked upstairs. He walked to the front door and opened it. He noticed Reina and smirked. "Well hello...Reina. What brings you here..?"
"Set my sister free. Enough is enough!" Reina yelled.
"Oh? You want Hecate free huh? Well I'm not negotiating today so-"
"I...will take her place in the abuse you're putting on her! She's suffered enough from the neglect she's dealt with from our parents. I'll marry you, I'll do whatever it takes to have her be free!" Reina yelled.
"Oh..?" Shidao smirked. "You'd do all that for your sister..? How cute.."
"I'm freaking serious!" Reina glared.
"I know...I was hoping you'd appear as well. Alright, since you've come here with your own will...I'll accept the offer. I'll set her free just as long as you stick to your own word. Go wait outside. I'll have her out." Shidao said then closed the door in front of Reina's face.
Hecate had broke free from her chains and had a knife in her hands, cutting her arms, trying to make the voices stop.
Shidao walked in the basement room and noticed Hecate leaned against the wall, mumbling and cutting her arms with a knife she had in her hand. "What the-"
"Monster...I'm the monster...I killed them all...I hear their voices...in my head..." Hecate chuckled and began to cut deeper wounds in her arms. "I'm a disappointment...Reina is so much better. I'm flawed...I'm nobody...I'm worthless..."
Shidao didn't expect the torture to take this turn on Hecate and turned off the statue. He expected her to be a mind slave, not turn deranged and schizophrenic. "Hecate.." He noticed hair on the ground as she used the knife she got to cut her hair.
Hecate stopped cutting her arms and smirked widely. She stopped leaning against the wall and began twitching. "Darling...why were you gone for so long..?"
"You're free to go. I've found a better woman to satisfy me." Shidao said then walked a step closer and stopped, getting chills down his spine.
"You're all that I have left...I can't let you leave me. I love you...I love you. I love you..." Hecate said then snapped. She slowly looked up and exhaled with a wicked smile on her face. The End Crest of Omega shined on her hand. "I...hate you..."
She laughed maniacally then ran towards Shidao with the knife in her hand. She swung the knife at his neck. He dodged the attack and looked surprised.
"Why are you DODGING?! LET ME LOVE YOU!" Hecate laughed and ran to him and pinned him against the wall and held the knife against his neck. She screamed and held her head, stumbling backwards then a dark aura surged powerfully around her body.
Shidao watched Hecate and noticed her warp away. Instead of creating a mind slave, he created a twisted and deranged monster. He panted and looked around the basement. He decided to just leave and walk back upstairs.
Reina waited outside and heard the door open. She looked at Shidao and rose an eyebrow. "Where's my sister?"
"She escaped. She's technically free, but I'm not truly finished with what I needed to do. She's the one who helped me so.." Shidao said.
"I'm not helping you with your bull crap. I agreed to marry you in place of my sister, not help you stir up more trouble in the world." Reina said.
"Hmph. Fair enough." He said. "Well then...I'll see you later at your house."
Reina nodded and knew the trouble she'd get into with Shidao, but decided to tough it out for Hecate.
Days pass and still no word from Hecate. Weeks go by and Hecate is still not heard of. Weeks turn into months and months turn into another year. Reina was at home preparing dinner for herself as Shidao was out in Adristan handling what business he had to settle there. She turned on the news and dropped her spatula.
"Breaking News! The Flame Deity has been killed! The Princess of Regala has been killed! Adrista has fallen! This could very well be the end of our world! Everyone please be safe out there and our Sacred Guardians will protect you all!" The news reporter said frantically.
"What the hell is Shidao doing..?" Reina asked herself then heard Shira crying in her crib. She hurried over to the crib after turning the stove off.
Agni panted and looked at Shidao. "You messed with the wrong country! I'll kill you once and for all! I'll avenge everyone!" Agni bellowed and flew to Shidao.
Shidao tried to dodge but failed to move. He grunted and smirked. "Heh...have I finally met my match..?"
Agni prepared to deal the final blow then grunted as he was stabbed. He looked back and noticed Hecate's smirk. Shidao was also surprised to see Hecate. She took her knife out of Agni's body.
"You're all I have left...I can't let you die..." Hecate smirked.
Shidao looked at Agni and noticed he was going to attack Hecate. He flew to Agni and stabbed his heart through his back. Agni looked surprised and his wings dispersed into tiny red feathers. Shidao took his blade out of Agni's back and Agni began to fall to the ocean.
Hecate watched him fall and laughed. She looked at Shidao. "I've found you again...you've been avoiding me...~ Where did you go?"
"I have children to look after...so I have to cleanse this world so I can let then start anew...have them start their lives fresh." Shidao said.
"Oh..?~ Children now huh?~ I'm very good with children. Let me see them, they would love to play with ME!" Hecate said, twitching and cutting her arm.
"No. You are not allowed to see them." Shidao said then flew off.
Hecate watched Shidao fly off and her smile turned into frowns. "I'll have my revenge...Just you wait..."
After the death of Agni, Shidao returned home and settled down with Reina. Five years go by and the family were all doing great. Shira and I were playing together in the living room and we heard the ring of the doorbell.
Shidao got up to answer it then noticed Icas. Icas didn't even speak, he just shot an energy beam at Shidao, trying to kill him. Shidao dodged the beam and the beam collided with the wall and an explosion happened. Reina woke up, screaming and heard the sounds of fighting.
Icas and Shidao were outside having their final fight and Reina's first priority was to protect me and Shira. We screamed as an energy blast hit the wall and blew a hole into it. Reina looked out the hole and noticed Shidao stick himself with life draining serum and transformed into his 100% Ragnarok State. Her eyes widened as she watched. I looked outside and noticed Shidao falling to his knees and dying due to his life force being completely drained.
「End of Memory....」
"So...Shidao tortured Aunt Hecate since the day they first met huh. He turned her into a monster..." I said.
"Yeah...Ever since I made that stupid deal to marry him to free her, I haven't seen her ever since and to hear from her now is heart breaking." Mom said and looked at the ground.
"She said something interesting to me before we fought. She said, 'I was always the bait that gets harmed in one way or another...and when we got home I would get tortured and abused! I...am still living his torment..'. Even after his death she was suffering because of the tools he used against her. Even after death I can't forgive him. I couldn't save her in the end. I had to erase her memories...all of it.." I said.
Mom hugged me and rubbed my head. "In this world, even if you save it...you've only won the battle and not the war. Even without her memories...she's still fighting a war that can't be stopped."
"We have to do something for her." Shira said.
"No." Mom said then let me go. "You two focus on saving the world. Leave everything else to me. Don't forget, the Holy Peak!"
I nodded and watched Mom stand up.
"You now know the whole truth. Never fall down the path me and Cate did. Always have each other's backs. At the end of the day, you'll only have each other." Mom smiled and rubbed out heads. "I'm going to Adristian Empire to see Cate. We shall meet again soon."
We watched Mom get on Blitz's back then he transformed into his Alicorn Mode and flew off, leaving behind white feathers.
Shira touched my shoulder and I looked at her. We nodded at each other then stood up. We headed back to the boat where everyone else was waiting for us. We got back on the boat and I was back as the leader.
"Everyone! I'm back and I have a plan that will help us retrieve the Medallions faster. We all split into two teams. I already know my team, Gideon, Freya, Esta, Takame, Shira, Phi, Mika, Serafina. You all come with me." I said.
"Can I come with?" Misaki asked and looked at me.
I looked at Misaki. "Sure. We are going to the Storm Valley to retrieve the Lightning Medallion. The rest of you, get the Water Medallion and we shall meet up at the Regalia Dynasty where the Holy Peak is located!"
"Right!" Everyone said.
Alastor sat on his throne at Gesia after killing King Damien and his knights. He revived Shidao, Blight, and Icas using his Soul Manipulation. "You three. Go find Shiryo and the others...and halt their progress or do whatever you want to them. It makes no difference if they are dead or alive."
Shidao opened his eyes and smirked. "Right.."
