Chapter 35 - Onwards! To Phoenice!

Avant dropped us off at a nearby town that had an airport. "Be safe out there alright?"

I nodded and smiled. "We will."

"Hey!" Ignatius said then tossed me the Flame Medallion. I caught it and looked at it then looked back at Ignatius. "It's better if you have it. Us Guardians don't need the Medallions for our powers to work. Use it however you wish!"

I nodded and sent the Medallion to my personal storage. "Thanks, Ignatius."

Ignatius nodded then walked back on the main deck. The ship sailed off and we were left alone. I led the team to a hotel so we could rest before hitting the airport.

"Looks like our ship adventures are over. We have three medallions right now. Only three more." Gideon nodded.

"Yeah." I nodded and summoned the Light Medallion. I thought about Fujo and Grandpa as well as Grandma and Dad. I made it disappear and sighed softly and stretched. "We need a good night rest. I don't think any of us have gotten a good sleep in a while."

"Nope. And I'm ready to hit a soft bed and sleep like a rock. I call dibs on sharing a room with Leader." Serafina said.

"No fair, you didn't even give us a chance to sort out arrangements!" Shira whined.

"It's first come, first serve with me." I shrugged.

"Fine!" Shira pouted.

I smiled and we headed inside of the hotel. Serafina paid for the rooms with her card and yawned then walked off, dragging me with her. I kept telling her how I had two feet and could walk on my own, but she kept dragging me with her. The others settled who was sharing a room.

Serafina and I entered our room then I groaned softly. She closed the door and the door automatically locked. I turned on the lights and walked ahead.

"Mind telling me why you wanted to share a room? You're the last person I expected to be sleeping with." I said and turned around to look at Serafina.

Serafina looked at me and walked to me. "You're the only person I can talk to about this."

"What's up?" I asked and crossed my arms.

"Uhm...I'm kinda hungry. I haven't been eating because I just...I'm not used to being around people when I eat. Since it's just us, I feel like I can eat more than I'm used to. I also kinda liked the way you fed me the food as well." Serafina blushed and looked down, gripping her shirt.

I looked at her and chuckled softly.

"What's so funny?!" Serafina asked and felt even more embarrassed.

"You're funny. And cute." I said then walked towards the bed and picked up the menu from the nightstand. "Come on, order something off this and I'll pay for it."

"Really..?" She asked.

I sat on the bed and looked at her. "Yeah. Come on."

Serafina smiled and began to show her softer side. She sat beside me and looked at the menu. "I want that." She pointed at the burger deluxe combo.

"Ahh, that sounds good. I'll get two of those then." I smiled and looked at the drink menu.

We picked what kind of drinks we wanted then I set the menu down and picked up the phone to order the food. After ordering, I pulled out my card and paid with my card. I hung up the phone after finishing the order and payment process.

"I want to thank you for not laughing at me when I told you why I haven't been eating.." Serafina said.

"Why would I laugh?" I asked.

"Because I've been such a little kid and I've been an asshole kinda. I mean it's hard trying to fit in. I've been a princess all my life, living behind the walls of my kingdom. Now that I'm outside the kingdom I've met so many different personalities. I mean I was pretty rude to you when we first met and now seeing how you'd risk your life for us...I guess I've seen things in a new light. You had to fight two family members. I couldn't bare to imagine what that could be like." Serafina said.

"It sucks. I mean both family members I could've saved...but fate had different plans. My brother that I still think about is trapped in the Void and my aunt." I said then looked down when I spoke about Aunt Hecate. After hearing what she's been through, it hurts to speak about her. "She's still here with us, but it feels like she's gone forever."

Serafina looked at me then looked down a bit. She looked back up at me and held my shoulder gently. I looked at her and she moved her hand to my cheek. "Even after all of that, you always remain so strong for us, but everyone needs a chance to just shut down and be sad."

I smiled and chuckled softly. "That's true, but I've done all of that already after my fight against my aunt. I don't want to remain sad for too long. After all, no one likes a sad leader."

Serafina looked into my eyes then cleared her throat and stood up, blushing a bit. There was a knock at the door and she went to answer it. The delivery guy handed her the large bag of food and she took it then thanked the man. She walked back to the bed and set the bag on the bed. She sat down and let me open the bag.

I pulled out the drinks and set it on the nightstand. I pulled out our food and created an energy table using my Crest of Magology, setting the food on the energy table. I began to feed Serafina a french fry and she opened her mouth to receive the fry then ate it as I placed it in her mouth. She enjoyed being fed by me. It was pretty much our thing at this point, and seemed like this was the only way to make her effectively eat.

We began to grow really close to each other. She fed me my food the same way I did to her. After 30 minutes passed, we finished eating and I got up to throw away the trash. I walked back to the bed and sat down.

"Hey." Serafina said.

I looked at her. "Hm?"

Serafina got closer then kissed my cheek then pulled away. "Goodnight." She smiled then got under the covers, ready to go to sleep.

I chuckled softly and stood up. "Goodnight, Sera."

Serafina smiled and watched me turn off the lamp then she got comfortable and laid on her side. I got in the other bed then laid down on the bed. I checked my phone and noticed Shira texted me. I decided to text her back. Our conversation was mainly about Aunt Hecate and if she will truly be okay once she wakes up. I reassured her that she was going to be okay. It was all I could do at this point. Our conversation ended with us saying goodnight and I love you to each other. I set my phone down and turned off the other lamp then went to sleep.

The next day arrived and I was already up and ready to go. I decided to let Serafina sleep for a while longer so she could get her beauty sleep. After another 30 minutes, Serafina woke up and got out of bed. She said good morning to me and I said it back then she got ready for the day.

After getting ready, we left the room and went down to the hotel lobby. We met up with the others and left the hotel to head to the airport. Once we made it to the airport, I used my phone to confirm the plane tickets to Phoenice, the continent the Storm Valley was located. Once the tickets were confirmed, we were allowed on the plane.

We sat down on the plane and I sat in the back so I could talk to Alethea and the other Deities about the plans.

"Alright, I always hear from the same five people. Aleph? Kamila? Galileo?" I said.

"Yes I'm here." Galileo said.

"Me too." Kamila said.

Aleph was the only one who was silent. He then decided to speak. "I don't speak to anyone lesser than me."

"Okay buddy." I said in a mocking voice.

"Mama, that man is talking to his Crests." A little girl pointed at me as she noticed me.

"It's rude to point and stare." The woman said.

"What are we going to do to get the Dark Medallion? We already know the location of the Lightning Medallion. How do I get to the Void Canyon?" I asked.

"The Void Canyon is in an abyss. That's all I can tell you." Ain said.

"Very helpful." I rolled my eyes.

"I don't know what else to tell you. You can't e even reach the Void Canyon because it requires very specific requirements for it to appear such as it having to be Night Time then it has to be exactly Midnight and it has to be a New Moon, after those three requirements are complete you'll need to call the Guardian of the Dark Medallion named Nightmare then fall asleep. He will come and take your soul and bring you to a spirit world called Fel Nycto from there you'll have to find your way to Void Canyon, but you'll only have until the morning to do so in the real world. Once the sun is in the sky, your soul will return to your body and you'll have to repeat the process once again." Ain said.

"So the Dark Medallion isn't even on this planet..?!" I asked.

"Nope." Ain said.

"We will need someone who can manipulate the phases of the moon. And there's only one person in history who manipulate the moon. She's a Banished Legend as well so we're gonna have to rely on Circe for this." Alethea said.

"It appears so." I shrugged and sighed.

For the rest of the plane ride, I was just chatting with the Grand Deities and we had a pretty nice chat. Our plane ride soon came to an end as we landed at our destination. We all got up and made our way out of the plane.

I looked out into the distance and noticed we were in a desert city. It was night time here since we were across the entire planet. I walked ahead and tried to find my way around. I summoned my map and opened it. We were still ways away from Storm Valley and my map recorded new types of enemies in the continent.

"How far are we from Storm Valley?" Gideon asked as he looked around and noticed the beautiful women who were from different tribes.

"Let's just say we're pretty far. From here...we are in Besta City, so that means to get to Storm Valley it's gonna take at least two weeks to get there because we have to go through The Northern Emptiness then travel through the Moonless Fields and then go to Qurufu Town and then cross the Khamu Border which is past the Seru Kingdom and finally before reaching Storm Valley we have to traverse the White Frontier." I said then looked at Gideon.

"Damn...we are pretty far from our destination. Alright there's no time better then the present." Gideon said.

"Yep." I nodded and walked forward. I whistled and their horses appeared in front of them. Blitz was still with Mom so he didn't hear my whistle. Soon I heard a neigh and looked up in the air, seeing Blitz. Mom sent him to me and I smiled. "Hey there, it's gonna be us travelling again. Are you ready?"

Blitz neighed happily and looked at me ready for the adventure.

"Good." I smiled.

A cloaked man stood on the top of a building and spotted me then smirked. He vanished and waited for a better time to strike.
