I stood at the airplane pad with Gideon and the others. I looked at my phone saying my final goodbyes to Shira and Fujo. I placed my phone back in my pocket then noticed the plane doors opening. We all got in the plane and took our seats. The plane soon took off and went for the skies.
Phoenix noticed the plane and morphed into a phoenix then flew after the plane. Erin watched and noticed Shira, Blake, and Fujo wandering down the plaza.
"What should we do about the other Ragnarok. Shiryo's twin sister." Erin asked.
"If you wish, you can get her to be on our side." Blight said as he looked at the paperwork. "She can be used as our lab rat for the experiments we shall conduct on our students."
"Alright." Erin nodded.
Shira looked at her phone as she drank her soda. She scrolled through the old pictures of me and her then smiled.
"You really love your brother huh?" Blake teased.
"She's got a slight brother complex for Shiryo." Fujo chuckled.
"I do not!" Shira blushed and puffed her cheeks.
"Oh please, I've never heard a sister tell her brother she loves him as much as you do! Plus when you talk on the phone with Shiryo, your lay on your stomach with your feet in the air and swinging." Fujo said.
"W-Well I just really love my brother! Nothing wrong with that!" Shira pouted.
"You tend to be a little possessive over him, remember that time we were training and I hit him a little too hard? You went into Ragnarok State because of it." Fujo smirked.
"Because you could've seriously injured him!" Shira said.
"Okay, well how about that time you cried when you couldn't find him and he was just in the stable tending to Blitz and the other horses?" Fujo asked.
"Th-That's not true! I didn't cry!" Shira said.
Blake chuckled softly and looked at Shira. "Alright, it sounds like you do have some form of obsession over Shiryo."
Shira stopped walking and sensed Erin then looked back. Blake and Fujo stopped walking as well and looked at Shiryo then looked at Erin.
"Hey guys. Mind if I join you?" Erin asked and smiled.
"Oh hey, Erin. Sure you can join us. We were just about to hit the arcade." Blake smiled.
Shira looked at Erin and had a strange feeling about her. She decided to keep her feelings to herself for now then turned around. She walked ahead and pulled Fujo to the side. "Me and Fujo have something to discuss, excuse us."
"Alright." Blake said.
Fujo looked at Shira and noticed her serious look. "What's the matter Shira?"
"I don't trust her...like at all. She's got a feeling to her that's just all bad news." Shira said.
"Hm? But she works with the Royal Army and a helper for the Director of the Adventurer's Academy. Maybe you're just skeptical, after all you have never met her before. It would be a good time to make you some female friends instead of hanging around with me and Blake all the time." Fujo smiled.
"I dunno. I have some good friends at the castle, they are maids albeit, but Erin just gives me off vibes." Shira said.
"Alright, I know mom taught you to not trust people blindly, but come on. Give her a chance. She's a good person, you'll see." Fujo smiled.
Shira sighed and decided to give Erin a chance then they walked back to Blake and Erin.
I looked out the window and felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked over and noticed Freya beside me. "Hey Freya. Not sitting beside Gideon?"
"Nah, he's asleep. He always sleeps on plane rides, he says it makes time go by much faster." Freya smiled.
"I see. Where are the others?" I asked.
"Esta and Takame are talking with one another three seats back. Lady Serafina is co piloting with her bodyguard and I'm here. Finally I get a chance to have you to myself, I've noticed you spend a lot of time with Esta...I'd like some attention as well..~ She's not the only woman in this group who wishes to have your attention..~" Freya said then gently ran her finger along my arm.
Freya was definitely the flirtatious type of woman when looking at her when she's alone with me. She was very bold as well, but within reason. I could tell the moment we were in the entrance exams, I caught her eye and now she's attracted to me now that we are in the same team.
"Well, are you gonna sit there talking about how you want my attention or are you going to make use of this time?" I asked and stroked her chin, teasingly.
Freya blushed and looked at me. 'Okay, I didn't expect him to flirt back..'
"Seems like you can't handle it when I flirt back huh? I'm not quite surprised..~ I see it all in your face. I also know you were very jealous of Esta that day when we slept together. I'll be honest I allowed it, but it's first come first serve here." I said then chuckled softly.
"I...I uh...I gotta use the restroom..!" Freya squeaked and quickly got up then hurried to the airplane bathroom.
I sensed danger and looked out the window and noticed a phoenix flying next to the plane. I stood up and awaked all of my Crests and fused them together and tapped into my Ascended Form. I walked to the front and walked into the pilot station.
Serafina looked back at me. "What's wrong? We aren't gonna be there for another three days."
"We got trouble." I said then an explosion was heard and the alarms blared and flashing red lights began shining.
"Our left wing was struck! Whoever is after us wants us dead!" Serafina's bodyguard said.
I grunted and heard Esta and Takame scream as another explosion was heard. The right wing was taken down.
"Dammit! We're gonna crash into Lacrath! We are way off course!" Serafina's bodyguard said.
"Everyone evacuate the airplane!" I said then left the pilot station.
I opened the door and jumped out of the plane then flapped my wings to take flight in the skies. I noticed the same phoenix flying above the crashing plane. The phoenix shapeshifted in her human form and looked at me. I noticed it was Phoenix Apocalypse, my childhood friend. She spread her wings and absorbed the flames from the crashing plane.
"I found you, Shiryo." Phoenix smirked and her eyes shined purple.
"Shiryo...she's being controlled. We have to save her." Alethea said.
I looked at Phoenix then nodded and glared at Phoenix. Phoenix smirked at me then flew to me at high speeds. She bellowed and went for a punch and I blocked the attack. I grunted lightly then struck her stomach and sent her crashing to the ground. I flew after her and noticed her recover quickly then she fired multiple fireballs at me. I deflected them all and bellowed. My eyes shined as I kicked her down into the water. The locals at the Lacrath Beach noticed a plane crash into the water and a woman crash into the water as well.
I landed on my feet and looked back at the people. "Everyone evacuate the-"
Phoenix was already in front of me and struck my body, sending me flying backwards. She flew after me and began to strike my body from all directions then kicked me to the ground. I groaned and bounced up off the ground then she bellowed and punched my stomach. I groaned then she kicked me upwards, trapping me in her flames then she held her hand out at me then a Crest shined on her hand. She raised her hand then caused me to rise in the air.
"Calamity Burst!" She balled her hand into a fist then an explosion happened in the sky.
"Shiryo!" Esta yelled and her eyes widened.
"She's got a Crest!" Gideon said in shock.
The Crest of Armageddon was a powerful Crest that belongs only to one of the four Bloodlines of the End. The four Bloodlines that were born with an End Crest were the Ragnarok, Apocalypse, Doomsday, and Catastrophe Bloodlines. The End Crest of Armageddon belonged to the Apocalypse Bloodline, The End Crest of Omega belonged to the Ragnarok Bloodline, the End Crest of Nostradamus belonged to the Doomsday Bloodline, and the End Crest of Final Judgement belonged to the Catastrophe Bloodline.
I crashed down on the beach and laid on my side. I grunted as I slowly stood up. I shook my head and noticed I had reverted to my normal form. I looked at Phoenix and huffed. She had gotten a lot stronger since the last time we met as kids.
"Bring...Shiryo to him alive..." Phoenix said as she looked at me.
"Him...I am guessing you mean Director Blight because who else would be after me. News flash, Phoenix, you should know my bloodline doesn't give up!" I said then used my Crest of Magology to grant myself Energy Generation to restore all of my energy. "I don't plan on letting you win...especially after what you did."
"It is my mission...I can not fail or leave empty handed.." Phoenix said in a drone manner.
"Heh...You're not leaving here!" I bellowed and went into my Ragnarok State.
Phoenix noticed her Crest had stopped shining. She looked back at me and blinked.
"Guys we might wanna get back." Serafina said.
"I agree." Gideon said.
The group got back and watched from a distance. It was about to be a dangerous battle between a Ragnarok and an Apocalypse.
Phoenix transformed into her Apocalyptic Form then her Crest began to shine once again. "I will do whatever it takes...to complete my mission."
I got into my battle stance then invited her on to attack first. Phoenix fell for the taunt and glared then dashed to me and went for the attack. I parried her attack then went for my attack. She blocked my attack and we began to enter a quick hand to hand combat battle. We blocked and parried each other's strikes. I blocked her three quick jabs then went for a punch, but she grabbed my arm then kneed my stomach and palmed my chest, causing me to slide backwards. She went for a roundhouse kick, but I blocked her kick then pushed her leg down and hit her with a tornado roundhouse kick. She twirled horizontally and recovered off one hand then landed on her feet.
Phoenix looked at me and wiped her mouth then smirked. I could see her enjoying the battle then I got in my battle stance then looked at her and smirked. She summoned three clones of herself then sent them at me. The clones dashed to me and began attacking. I blocked their attacks and attacked back. I kicked a clone backwards then grabbed her leg, swinging her around then caused her to hit the other clones. I slammed the clone down and the clone disappeared. I dodged another clone's attack then constructed an energy blade around my hand then sliced the clone's neck and made her disappear then stabbed the third clone, making the clone disappear as well.
"The battle is so intense..." Esta said as she watched.
"I know.." Takame said.
Phoenix and I kept blocking and parrying each other's attacks then Phoenix landed a clean kick of my side. I grunted and grappled her leg then attempted to elbow her leg, but she jumped up and kicked the side of my face, making me let go of her then she kicked me away. I rolled on my side then rebounded onto one knee, sliding backwards and panting.
She stepped backwards and chuckled softly. "What's the matter? Can't handle my strength?" She taunted.
"This woman is able to land very clean hits on Shiryo. Who is she..?" Gideon asked.
I stood up then walked towards Phoenix and cracked my knuckles then dashed to her and went for an attack. She blocked my attack then we entered a heated hand to hand combat battle once again. She blocked most of my attack, but I slipped through her defense and palmed her stomach then hit her with a right hook before kicking her away and sending three energy balls at her. She flipped backwards, avoiding the first energy ball then deflected the other two. I appeared in front of her and caught her off guard. I jabbed her stomach then knocked her to the ground with a hook kick, but she quickly scissored my legs and brought me to the ground as well.
We quickly got up and I noticed Phoenix had summoned a dagger. She dashed to me and began to swing her dagger at me, trying to cut me. I dodged her attacks swiftly, avoiding each slash then knocked her dagger out of her hand with a backflip kick then jumped up and axe kicked the dagger down at her. She barely avoided the dagger, suffering a cut on her cheek. She looked at me and went on the offensive. I blocked most of her attacks and struck her stomach with a body shot then knocked her into the air with an uppercut and twirled forward then jumped upwards, knocking her back down with a moon kick. She rebounded off one hand then flipped backwards.
She powered up and her aura surged. "Alright! No more playing games!" She bellowed and spread her phoenix wings.
"Bring it." I said then powered up as well.
Phoenix dashed to me and I dashed to her as well. We began clashing quickly and each clash caused a slight shockwave to generate. I bellowed and punched her face, sending her flying then appear behind her then kicked her away. I appeared in front of her then kicked her upwards. I flew upwards and grabbed her leg then flew to the ground. I bellowed and slammed her down four times then tossed her away.
Phoenix rolled on her side then recovered on one knee then clapped her hands together then 100 clones appeared in front of her. She stood up and pointed at me. Her clones rushed towards me and bellowed. I glared at the clones then dodged the first attack and began to strike down the clones while avoiding the other attacks from the clones.
"Yeah! Shiryo you've got this!" Esta yelled.
"Yeah! Beat her ass!" Freya yelled.
I continued to strike down the clones and multiple clones began to surround me. "Ragnarok State 35%!" I bellowed and used my aura to blow the clones away.
More clones began to rush me with attacks, but I blitzed the clones and struck them down. I took one of their sword and began to cut down each clone with ease then ran to Phoenix.
"He's...much stronger than I anticipated." Phoenix said then summoned her sword. She dashed to me and clashed with me.
We clashed quickly and she thrusted her sword at me, but I dodged the attack and kicked her away. She rolled backwards then I appeared above her and slashed down. She dodged the slash and kicked my sword out of my hand. She began slicing me then backflip kicked me upwards, trapping me in her aura.
"I'm ending this now!" Phoenix bellowed and raised her hands in the air. "Final Apocalypse!"
She bellowed and the aura around my body erupted into a massive aura explosion. High winds blew and Esta and the others looked surprised. Phoenix panted and watched the smoke clear and noticed a shine.
"Ascended Ragnarok Form!" I bellowed and combined my Ascended Form with my Ragnarok State. I was finally pushed against the wall to use this forbidden technique.
"End this quickly! You can't stay in this form for too long!" Alethea warned.
I looked at Phoenix then vanished. Phoenix looked surprised then groaned as I struck her with a powerful blow. She was sent flying backwards and I flew after her then vanished and appeared behind her then kicked her away then teleport in front of her once again then punched her away. I began to strike her from all directions at high speeds and trapped her in a large ball of energy then kicked her upwards.
"Omega Ragnarok Explosion!" I bellowed and the ball of energy exploded. I reverted to normal and fell to the ground.
Phoenix began falling to the ground as well and the hypnotic power from Blight disappeared. We both hit the ground and laid on the sand. I stared at the sky and panted.
"He won!" Esta said with excitement. "He won!!"
I looked at Phoenix and noticed her opening her eyes with a slight groan.
"Uuugghhh....my head hurts so damn much.." Phoenix complained.
I sat up slowly and looked at Phoenix. I helped her sit up and looked at her. "Phoenix..."
Phoenix looked at me then her eyes widened. "Shiryo!"
"Whoa whoa! Hold the FUCKING phone!" Serafina bellowed. "You two know each other?!"
"I don't remember seeing her at the entrance exams." Esta said.
"That's because she wasn't..." Freya said.
Phoenix looked around and noticed the slight destruction that was caused on the beach. She also noticed the sinking plane in the ocean. "Wait...Wait wait wait! No! No no! This can't be happening! That bastard hypnotized me! No! I could've killed my childhood friend and his friends as well!"
"Childhood friend?!" Gideon and the others said in unison, surprised at Phoenix's words.
There was a lot that needed to be explained and I was the one who had to come up with the answers.
