We stopped the ship at a nearby port town. I looked at the map and noticed the rest of the way to Adristan was closed off. It was unknown on the reason why, but I was determined to find out. I made the map disappear and met up with Colt, Gideon, and Vriska at the poop deck.
"Alright, we have to figure out why they won't let us pass so we don't need the entire team so I'm gonna only bring like two or three with me. I'm gonna ask around, the rest of you just relax, if you want you can explore around the town alright?" I said and waited for their confirmation.
"Sounds good. I'll stay here just in case...the bird and the fox decides to have a little chase down." Gideon said.
I nodded then walked off.
"Master!" Mika rushed to me and wrapped her arms around my waist. She nuzzled my chest and smiled. "Let me come with you!~"
"The only way I'm letting you come with is if Phoenix comes as well. I need you two to get along." I said and rubbed her head.
Mika's tail wagged as I pet her head, however, she puffed her cheeks out of sourness because of the fact Phoenix had to come as well. "Mmm...okay Master."
"Phi!" I called out to her.
Phoenix looked at me in her phoenix form then reverted to her human form then floated down to the main deck from the crow's nest. "Yeah Ragna?~ And why is this unhinged canine hugging all over you..?"
"Because...he's MY Master!" Mika growled.
"Ladies! Enough!" I said. It was the first time I had to take control in my own harem since back then everyone liked each other, maybe more because everyone was able to get more one on one time since we didn't have to worry about saving the entire planet back then like this. "Both of you are coming with me. We're just gonna ask around to see why the path is blocked by Sea Guards. Alright?"
"Fine.." They both said.
The three of us exited the boat and went into the port town.
Shira wore a long white hooded cape that was able to cover her face for the most part. Right now she was experiencing what I was, the wrath of our father's old enemies. We were suffering the aftermath and Shira didn't like that.
"Do you know where my brother is, King Damien?" Shira asked.
"He's supposed to be headed at Adristan, so he's most likely there already. Here, this is a replica of the Eternal Retribution. Our blacksmith made it just for you." King Damien said then handed her a weapon that was wrapped in white cloth.
The Eternal Retribution was a katana with a black handle, gold hilt, and a red and white blade with magic symbols on it. It's said to be a true double edged weapon, it's got the properties of a blessed weapon and a cursed weapon. The cursed side is the blade may have a chance to harm the user by draining their life force bit by bit but a singular cut upon the enemy will kill them with a lethal poison, and the blessing is if the user accidentally cuts themselves with the blade the curse will be negated. The more damage the user takes the more lethal the blade is and the more powerful the curse inducement. For the curse to work on enemies, the blade needs to be cleaned often. Too much blood on the blade will not allow to the curse to work, but the blade will get stronger the more kills the user gets as well.
Shira took the weapon and looked at it. She bowed at King Damien then got on the airplane then the pilot took off. She looked down at Gesia one last time as the airplane flew away from Gesia.
Blight grunted as he slid backwards and panted softly. He glared at Fujo then dashed to him. He went for a barrage of attacks, but Fujo swiftly dodged each attack then punched his stomach before kicking him away. Blight flipped backwards off one hand then landed on his feet.
"Full Lunabeam!" He bellowed and fired a massive mean of lunar energy at Fujo.
Fujo smirked and took the beam then an explosion happened. Blight smirked as he watched then looked surprised when the smoke cleared. Fujo held his hand out at Blight. The Crest of Replication shined on his hand. "Full Lunabeam." Fujo said then shot the beam at Blight.
Blight was stunned and the beam hit him. Blight groaned as he was blown away, only to be caught by Icas.
"Well well well...If it isn't the son of Ryder Olympis. I'm not surprised to see you overpower my units. I am surprised you possess a Crest when your father doesn't. It must come from your mother...The mother that left you." Icas smirked.
Fujo glared and balled his fist then felt someone touch his shoulder. He looked back and noticed it was Blake. "Blake."
"We need to go. Shira has left successfully." Blake said.
Fujo looked at Icas.
"By all means, go ahead and leave. It won't stop us from hunting you and your family. It won't stop me from completing my goal. The world will be in my hands. The destruction of the Ragnarok will inevitable." Icas smirked.
Fujo glared at him then decided to leave with Blake and retreat back home to warn Mom and the others.
I walked around, asking people why the route to Adristan was closed from here, but no one knew the answers. I walked into a tavern and noticed three men sitting at the counter and walked up to them.
One of the men was a samurai with messy white hair, red eyes, and black earrings in his right ear. He had bangs that covered the left side of his face. He wore a white kimono top, gray trousers, and black high boots with black fingerless gloves that extended to his elbows.
The second male was difficult to tell if he was a male or a female. He had long golden brown hair styled into a bun. He wore a long sleeve turtleneck with black jeans and white shoes. His eyes were a dark blue and he had a heart tattoo under his right eye. He had very effeminate features, but was a rather good looking guy regardless.
The third male was the oldest looking of the three. He had black hair with some gray spots with a trimmed beard, hazel eyes, an battle scars along his face. He wore a navy blue shirt with black pants and brown boots. He wore a brown long coat as well.
"Master...this place smells like old pirates and sea filled men." Mika said.
"Yeah that's why we're making this quick." I said then tapped on the shoulder of the older man.
The man looked back at me and turned around. I looked at him and his two allies looked back at me as well.
"If it isn't Shidao's son." The man smirked. "Heh...never thought I would see the little runt all grown up."
"So you also knew my father huh.." I said then crossed my arms. "I'm not even surprised at this point. The name's Shiryo Ragnarok."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Shiryo. Name's Aaron Catastrophe. I was supposed to meet my daughter at Adristan, but our ships got separated and now we can't even get through." Aaron said.
"Do you know why we can't get through?" I asked.
"Yeah. There's been reports of Undead Dragons in the area targeting the boats. The Ocean Army was said to be handling the issue but we haven't heard any news." Aaron said.
"Aaron, who's this?" The effeminate male said.
"Ahh, Shiryo meet my crew. The pretty boy next to me is Skye Rosales, he's a master sniper. Next to him is his boyfriend, a trusted samurai Hoshi Yonoko. He is quick with the blade and able to kill most targets with a single strike." Aaron introduced. "Skye, Hoshi, this is the son of the Ruin Emperor, Shiryo Ragnarok."
"It's a pleasure to meet you." Skye smiled at me and winked.
"You seem like a powerful warrior." Hoshi nodded at me.
"It is nice to meet you two as well, but I will have to cut out meeting short. I refuse to sit here and wait for some ocean crew to deal with something they can't handle." I said then walked off.
"Wait what?" Phoenix said in shock. She grabbed my arm and stopped me. I looked at her. "You're gonna go out and fight the dragons?"
"It's better than sitting here and letting King Icas and his crew win." I said.
"Icas?" Aaron asked and stood up. "You're battling against the League of the Damned?"
"Yeah. I'm going to avenge my father and save the world, possibly the universe." I said.
"Come, boys. We are going to assist him in this battle. Looks like we are going on a Beast Hunt." Aaron said.
"Finally some action." Skye smiled.
I looked at the three then looked at Phoenix and Mika. "Let's go. It's time we destroy the dragons and get through."
"Right." Phoenix nodded.
"If this is what you wish, Master. I'm going to do my best." Mika smiled.
Shira looked at her phone and waited for me to text back. She looked out the window and sighed softly. She heard a roar and noticed a beam hit the plane wing. She looked surprised and noticed the Undead Dragon.
"Mayday mayday! We've been hit and about to take a heavy landing! Protective protocol activating!" The pilot yelled.
Shira panicked and didn't know what to do. She closed her eyes tightly and braced herself for a crash landing.
I walked outside the tavern and noticed a crashing plane and the Undead Dragons. My End Crest of Omega shined and I looked at the plane then noticed it was crashing down into the port town. I transformed into my Ascended Form then flew up in the sky.
"Everyone look out! Evacuate the area!"
"This can't be happening!"
"The Undead Dragons aren't dead?!"
I fused my Ragnarok State with my Ascended Form tapping into my Ascended Ragnarok State then flew faster to the plane and managed to push the plane away from the town. Shira opened her eyes as she noticed they haven't crashed.
"Oh my...what a hero he is.." Skye said impressed.
"Shidao would never.." Aaron smirked.
I slowly carried the plane down to safety on the ground. I reverted to my normal form and the doors opened. Shira rushed down the isle and noticed me. Her eyes widened and she noticed her End Crest of Omega shining.
"Shiryo.." She said then rushed down the stairs and tackled me into a hug. She was on the verge of tears as she was so happy to see me again.
I looked a bit surprised and looked at her then held her in my arms. "Shira, why are you here..?"
"We're being targeted...They are about to kill mom and me and you..! The Doomsday Bloodline, our father isn't a hero! He...he's the one who cause all of our problems..! He's the one...who left us with the clean up job.." Shira said and sniffled.
"What do you mean, Shira..?" I asked.
"Our father...is the reason King Icas wants us dead. He's the reason why most Deities hate us and the reason part of the Doomsday Bloodline hate us. We are suffering the aftermath and I'm scared...If Fujo hadn't saved me...I would be dead." Shira softly spoke and held me tightly.
I can't say I was surprised at this news, but I have always suspected something was off. Mom never spoke of our father again after the events. We were never told about his history except how he saved our world, but now I have to get answers. If our father was such a renown hero, why are we so hated? Aaron seemed like the man who knew...the man who knew the truth because he is a Catastrophe. He's connected to our Bloodline so he has to know something.
