Sentina dashed ahead to us and appeared behind me then kicked me away and dashed straight to Shira. Shira braced herself for Sentina's attack. She blocked the first three attacks, but Sentina managed to break out of her attack then gripped her neck. She raised her off the ground.
"I smell your constantly rising potential...Your potential makes you more of a threat than Shiryo at the moment and because of that, you'll die first!" Sentina bellowed.
Phoenix punched Sentina's face and made her drop Shira. She glared and sent Sentina flying. Sentina landed on one knee and slid backwards. I awakened all of my Crests and transformed into my Ascended Form.
Sentina stood up and looked back at me then smirked. "So the beast finally comes out.."
I dashed to her and she dashed to me. We clashed and I avoided her attack then punched her stomach. She groaned then 30 more strikes hit her. I sent her flying to the sky. I flew after her and she recovered then blocked my attack. We vanished and clashed multiple times in the skies.
"They are fighting like Deities up there.." Shira said in awe. "Shiryo's always been this strong..?"
"When we fought, he overpowered me when he went into this form for a while before I powered up and matched his level." Phoenix said.
I kicked Sentina three times before kicking her down then stopped time for Sentina using my Crest of Magology to grant myself Time Magic then flew down to her with an energy ball in my hand then resumed time and blasted her with the energy ball. Sentina groaned and crashed to the ground. I looked down at her then grunted as my body felt a bit strained.
Sentina appeared behind me and kicked me to the ground and flapped her wings, causing a tornado to suck me inside then she fired multiple energy beams in the tornado and caused the tornado to light up then an explosion happened. Sentina flew into the explosion and palmed my stomach. I groaned and crashed to the ground at high speeds.
"Oh that one's gotta hurt. That was a critical hit." Aaron said.
I panted heavily as I was on one knee. "Damn these stupid fucking limitations.." I said then grunted as lightning crackled around my body. Sentina struck me with a paralyzing attack and now I was slightly paralyzed.
Sentina landed on the ground and smirked. "Out of juice already, Ragnarok?"
I slowly stood up and smirked. "Not yet...but I am tired.."
"Shiryo.." Shira said then noticed Phoenix fly ahead, transforming into her Apocalypse Form.
Phoenix bellowed and went for an attack at Sentina. Sentina avoided the attack then kicked her away. Phoenix recovered off one hand then sent her clones to Sentina. Sentina looked back and noticed the clones and summoned clones of her own to deal with them. Phoenix dashed to Sentina and vanished and moved all around her quickly. She appeared in front of Sentina then kicked her upwards, trapping Sentina in her flames.
"Calamity Burst!" Phoenix bellowed and a massive explosion happened in the air.
"A direct hit!" Esta said happily.
The smoke cleared and Phoenix looked surprised. Sentina's wings had protected her from the explosion and she unwrapped her wings from her body. A Crest shined on her leg.
"The Crest of Revenge." I said. "It works similarly to a trait of my Crest of Radiance. The more damage she takes, the stronger she gets. The Crest of Revenge also offers Combat Empowerment meaning she grows stronger as she fights."
"Heh, you sound like you expected this to be an easy fight. Slay the dragons and you go by. No. I thirst for blood, death! The guards I killed have only made me stronger! That isn't because of a Crest but my genetic trait! I've got so much power flowing inside of me, it's almost like I can fight a deity alone! It is so rewarding seeing your faces. The faces of despair from a Ragnarok and an Apocalypse!" Sentina laughed.
Sentina vanished and appeared in front of me then kicked me away. I groaned then she appeared above me then punched my stomach, sending me crashing to the ground. I bounded off the ground and she grabbed my leg then tossed me into the air then a clone blasted me back to the ground using an energy beam.
Phoenix flew to her and went for multiple strikes but Sentina endured each hit as her Damage and Combat Empowerment granted her more and more endurance and durability to attacks. Sentina elbowed Phoenix then kicked her away. Phoenix crashed through multiple trees and landed in the water.
Shira was left looking surprised at the fact Sentina was able to overpower me and Phoenix. She watched as Sentina walked to her.
"Come on! We have to shoot her down!" Freya yelled.
"Not yet." Aaron said.
"What do you mean not yet?! Shiryo and Phoenix are down!" Freya bellowed.
"The battle hasn't reached it's high point yet." Aaron smirked. "They haven't even shown their true power yet."
"This is where you die, Ragnarok!" Sentina laughed then dashed to her and went for a killing blow.
I appeared in front of Shira, taking the blow for her then grunted and coughed a bit of blood. I fell to my knees and Shira looked surprised.
"How poetic...taking the blow for your sister." Sentina said.
"Shiryo, you've reached critical condition. If you continue on, you'll most certainly die. I say that as if I can't reset reality, but I don't want to risk the possibility." Alethea said.
I slowly stood up. "I'll protect my sister until my very last breath. No matter what, I'll protect her!"
"Shiryo..!" Shira said and held my arm.
"The tenacity on you. Then again all you Ragnaroks are tenacious. It's quite annoying!" Sentina yelled and struck my body and sent me crashing into a tree.
I groaned and fell to the ground. My body was close to shutting down.
"Now...To kill you.." Sentina smirked.
Shira looked back at me then looked at Sentina. 'Why am I just sitting here..?! My brother is in critical condition! For all my life, Shiryo and Phoenix has had to protect me! I don't want to be the weakest link! I can't be the weakest link! I want to protect the one I love, I want to protect my brother!'
"Say goodbye!" Sentina bellowed and fired a large energy beam at Shira.
"Shira..!" I grunted loudly.
"I'll protect my brother!" Shira yelled and her aura surged powerfully.
Sentina's beam collided with Shira and an explosion happened. Sentina smirked and my eyes widened. Sentina felt a powerful energy and looked at the smoke cloud. The smoke cleared and Shira was seen in her Ragnarok State. Her eyes were pure white and her aura was a dark blue, purple, and black. She roared and her power was uncontrollable.
"What the hell?! Is that the same Shira?!" Freya asked.
Aaron watched and was impressed at Shira's power. "She's in an uncontrollable state of the Ragnarok State also known as the Feral Ragnarok State. If she isn't stopped, the power could kill her."
Shira bellowed and dashed to Sentina then punched her face. Sentina grunted and was blown away. Shira dashed after her and sliced Sentina three times before striking her stomach then grabbing her face and slammed her to the ground. Shira bellowed and blasted Shira with a massive energy blast, causing a massive explosion.
"Shira..!" I grunted and stood up then used my Crest of Magology to heal myself using White Arts.
Sentina bellowed and her aura surged then she rushed Shira with attacks. She grew more powerful because of the damage Shira inflicted upon her. She finished her combo with a kick and sent her flying to me.
I caught Shira then slid backwards. "Shira, listen to my voice! You have to calm down or else you'll die!"
Shira yelled and struggled to escape my arms. She yelled and wanted to hurt Sentina.
"Shira!" I grunted then remembered when Shira was this angry. I knew what I had to do. I hummed a tune in her ear that Shira recognized and she stopped trying to break out of my hold.
Shira began to calm down and her eyes went back to normal and she went from a Feral Ragnarok State to a controlled Ragnarok State. "Shiryo..."
I stopped humming and looked at Shira then smiled. "Glad to have you back..." I said then let her go.
"You're back up..? Tch, probably used one of your annoying ass Crests. No matter, I'll just kill you both!" Sentina said.
I transformed into my Ascended Form then combined my Ragnarok State with it. "No...we will be killing you."
"Better not count me out.." Phoenix said then appeared beside me.
Sentina laughed then looked at us seriously. She dashed to us and we dashed to her. I jumped up and Sentina blocked an apocalyptic energy blast from Phoenix and slid backwards. Shira kicked Sentina upwards then I kicked her back downwards. Phoenix flew behind her and kicked her upwards and trapped Sentina in her aura.
"Not this time!" Sentina bellowed and broke out of the aura.
I kicked her to the ground and smirked. Phoenix smiled then flew to the ground. Sentina landed on her feet and sensed Shira and Phoenix rushing after her. She blocked both of their attacks. They began to rush Sentina with attacks, but Sentina parried and blocked the attacks. Sentina kicked Shira away then used her aura to push Phoenix backwards. Shira flipped backwards and spun her sword around her feet then kicked her sword at Sentina.
Sentina parried her sword, knocking it into the air. Phoenix warped to the sword and slashed downward at Sentina. Sentina dodged the attack then jumped backwards. Phoenix flew forward then feinted her attack and Shira appeared under Sentina. Sentina looked surprised then grunted as she was kicked into the air. Phoenix flew above Sentina then kicked her downward. Shira appeared in front of Sentina then struck her with five quick strikes, blowing her away.
Phoenix appeared behind Sentina then kicked her away and tossed Shira's sword in the air. Shira tackled Sentina to the ground then vanished. Phoenix sent Sentina flying back into the air using a pillar of flames. Shira struck Sentina with tornado kicks then sliced her five times before knocking her back down. Phoenix kicked her upwards then trapped her inside of her aura. She released her then Shira appeared under Sentina and grabbed her left leg and flew to the ground. She slammed her on the ground five times before tossing her back up.
Phoenix kicked her upwards once again. "Calamity...!"
Sentina bellowed and broke out of the attack and noticed Phoenix was gone. I kicked her upwards then trapped her inside of the Field of Nothingness.
"Nothing Burst." I said then a massive explosion of dark energy happened in the sky.
"Did you see that shit? They bullied her!" Gideon said as he watched with his binoculars.
"Heh...the new generation never ceases to surprise me with their combos and team attacks." Aaron smiled.
"Let's end this!" I bellowed.
"Okay!" Shira nodded.
"Yes...let's put an end to this!" Phoenix smirked.
Sentina roared and her aura surged powerfully. "I will not lose to anyone! Especially not some Ragnarok or Apocalypse scum!"
"Sounds like my cue." Aaron said then put away his binoculars then summoned his magic sniper. Three magic circles appeared in front of the barrel.
I summoned a ball of energy then Phoenix and Shira began boosting the power of the energy ball with their energy.
"Die!" Sentina roared then groaned as she was sniped by Aaron. Her wings were destroyed by the bullet and she tried to keep herself up in the air for as long as she could. She roared and groaned as she was sniped again and she began to fall to the ground.
"End..!" I bellowed.
"We have to kill her with one shot!" Phoenix yelled.
Shira concentrated on boosting the power of our attack.
Sentina crashed on the ground and coughed blood then looked at us. "I can't lose...to the Bloodline of the End! I can't!"
"Cannon!" I bellowed and fired the massive energy ball at Sentina and it hit her. The three of us sent a massive apocalyptic energy beam at the energy ball to boost the destructive power of the attack.
Sentina groaned and tried to withstand the attack. She yelled and her eyes flashed white. "I...won't...!"
"Together!" I bellowed and we bellowed as we overpowered Sentina's resistance and the beam covered her entire body. She screamed in pain then her Crest shattered and her body began to turn to dust. We created a massive trench in the island and split the ocean in two.
"What destructive power.." Freya said in awe.
"Yeah...splitting the ocean in two as well.." Takame said in shock.
"They won! They beat the dragon!" Serafina said out of happiness and was glad that we could finally continue.
Aaron smiled and made his sniper disappear. "Another job well done.."
I panted and reverted to my normal form then fell to my knees, passing out from pure exhaustion. My body had finally shut off and entered True Recovery Mode. True Recovery Mode is basically a mode that puts you in a coma and allows your body to restart and recover. I was going to be out for days.
Phoenix and Shira helped me back to the ship and Aaron took me then carried me to my room in the ship. Phoenix went to the guards to report our victory. The guards were extremely surprised, but kept their promise on opening the border so we could continue to Adristan. Once Phoenix got back on the boat, we headed off to Adristan.
Fujo stood in front of the Gesian Knights and looked at them. He had them all standing at attention. "Knights of Gesia! What we are about to march into isn't a battle, but a war against King Icas and his army called the Damned. Our goal is to stop him from completing his plan by all means! We can not let him win! Prepare yourselves because this is a war where nothing is guaranteed so I will give you all two choices! You can either stay back and be safe within the walls of Gesia or you can march with me...and fight for the fate of the world! The choice is yours!"
The few that left were those who had a family that needed them and children to care for. Their decision to fall back was respected by those who chose to stay.
"Alright, those who stayed...I hope you are ready because once we leave these walls...we aren't guaranteed to return." Fujo said then turned around. "For as long as I stand, I will not let a single one of those miscreants live. Those who side with King Icas and his army...they will die."
Blake looked at Fujo and noticed Fujo's hatred, his despair and thirst for revenge. He watched as Fujo would now become the merciless King of Retribution, a man who will fall into the endless abyss of grief and darkness...a man who only knows war and would stop at nothing to reach his end goal. Blake would soon watch the Fall of Fujo.
