Shade and tint of red and orange was painted in the sky. Making it stunning for her eyes. Sunset always amused her. It was the most beautiful time of the day as it merged the day and night.
She had a feeling that this night wouldn't end well, which she put in back of her mind.
Even when she was enjoying, her mind was filled with what Ezra had told her.
She had never believed in mythical supernatural stories. Her parents had always told her stories on supernatural things.
She knew her parents had believed them, but she didn't. Her bedtime stories were related to mythical creatures. She had enjoyed them, but as she grew older, she realised they were just stories without any truth in them. But now she has to rethink.
But how the hell was it in our story books? How did they know it existed?
"Grandma stories were true" Aaron said as they walked.
"It's crazy," Ryan commented.
"She said they had their own family and life, something i never imagined off" he said as realisation settled in.
I think we have to relearn everything" Evelyn said
Ryan had taken the cellphone to call Evans as they wanted to get back to their home
there.
He isn't picking up" Ryan said with annoyance
He said something weird before leaving"
What?"
He said like before….." Her voice was frozen as her gaze fell on something. The feeling she shrugged off came back much stronger.
She saw two men come out of thin air. After a few seconds, the blue lights surrounding them disappeared. Their focus was fixed on them.
The two men strode towards them in black cloak that swept the ground. Danger alarmed all her senses. Her insides were screaming at her to run. But her legs were frozen like they were dead.
As if sensing the danger, Aaron and Ryan dragged Evelyn with them as they ran. Aaron had protective hands around her shoulder.
She knew it was funny that they were running those two mens could just teleport and get them within seconds.
Their steps halted when two men teleported before them. Before they would turn they splash some kind of odorless powder in air.
Within seconds, Evelyn would feel her consciousness slipping away.
Her mind screamed at her to not lose but her body betrayed her. She felt like it was no longer hers.
'Don't faint,' she said to herself before black dots appeared.
Before she could close her eyes would close on their own she saw startled blue eyes staring at her.
