"Why the fuck am i here?" Evelyn yelled, gaining everyone's attention.
"Why are you here?" Dylan asked as Evelyn looked at him in disbelief.
'Was he a fool'
"You fucking kidnapped me" she stated as a matter of fact
"Not that....., why are you in our world?" He said as he understood what he meant to convey had been misinterpreted.
"Oh that… to study about your world. Like how you live what you are like that kind of things, you basics…. that kind of things"
"Only that" Xavier asked with an expression she couldn't understand.
"Not for planning to kill us" Dylan asked with same expression as Xavier.
Her eyebrows knitted in confusion
She couldn't understand what they were saying
'Kill? Us'
"What?" She asked as she couldn't understand what they saying
"We know you humans are planning to destroy us" Xavier said coldly as if she had already knew about it.
''What the fuck….. what the hell are you talking" she yelled in disbelief.
"I have only learnt about your world maybe a few weeks ago and I didn't even know that you had powers before i came here" she said in one breath.
Silence followed.
She knew Xavier and Dylan were assessing what she her. She had seen the conflict in their eyes about trusting what she had said.
"What about others" Dylan asked breaking the silence
Her mind raised to Neil and James, they didn't have that much knowledge about this world. They didn't even know they had powers. She even thought the training they had was actually meaningless.
"I dont think anybody is capable" she said
"You sure" Xavier asked with doubt in his voice.
She nodded.
"Why you think human want to kill you" she asked
"We got a thing, that smelled like humans and we also got dna of humans in it" Xavier said
"What thing"
"Something capable of destroying our powers"
"Why do you think that is done by us?"
"The thing kind of have human smell in it"
"But nobody believed even in a parallel world, only a few knew about it. They believe power and all are only in movies. Even if they knew, i don't think we have that much technology to destroy another world"
"You sure" she asked in disbelief
She saw Xavier nodding.
"If what you are saying is true, then i will lend my hands"
She saw Xavier and Dylan looking at each other. She saw a change in expressions like they were talking to each other.
She saw they giving hand gestures and rolling eyes like having a normal conversation except their lips were sealed.
'Telepathy?'
'They have that power too' she thought
After minute of strange silence and eye rolling Dylan spoke
"How can we trust you?" His blue eyes staring intensely like they would dig a hole in her body.
Without backing down from his burning stare she said
"You don't have another option than to trust me, maybe you have another option but i may be more helpful"
Dylan and Xavier looked at each other and nodded.
"But i want something in return" she said
"What" Xavier asked
"We want all information about this world"
She heard Xavier chuckle.
"Oh dear, you don't just get information, you also get Dylan's protection" he said with a wink confusing her.
"You may not know, he may or maynot be a crown prince but he is a prince who can give you his full protection"
