Her legs were frozen, as the beast stalked towards her. His fierce eyes looked like he would jump on her the next moment.
But it slowly came towards her, and smelled her and growled slowly. Her heart was beating in her ears. Her hands become sweaty. All she would do was to stand still.
It circled her like it was taking a good look at her. Then it came towards her and stood still staring at her eyes.
It moved and raised one front leg like it was gonna attack her. She closed her eyes and covered her head with her hands while squatting down. She was trembling.
She waited for the strike, instead she felt a gush of wind followed by a loud noise, like something heavy fell into the ground.
Slowly she opened her eyes, her vision was blurred due to her tears. She blinked her eyes to see clearly.
She saw a figure in black cloak standing in front of her. Its hand was stretched out like it was protecting her. She couldn't see beyond as the figure blocked its view.
She stood and peaked at the side, she saw the beast looking at the figure and whimpering something low.
The beast looked at her again and lowered its head and backed away. It walked back to the forest.
She stumbled back as relief replaced her panic. She kept her hands to her heart and rubbed. She was on the verge of death. She had never experienced anything like this.
Her one week training had never helped her on how to face something like this.
The figure turned towards her. She recognized it.
It had the blue eyes that she saw before she was kidnapped. She was entranced by it. The electric blue eyes made her resemble them to the deepest parts of the ocean. They made her forget that she was in the verge of death.
She examined his face, high cheekbones, sharp jawline, long silky white hair that reached till his shoulders, thick dark eyebrows enhancing his sharp eyes.
She dropped her eyes down his face, thick neck sculptured on wide shoulders. His loose cloaks hid his body, but it should be as sculptured as his face.
He took two steps towards her, his tall six foot five frame towering her five foot three. She admired his beauty as he stood a few feet away from his.
She thought he was the definition of beauty. The god had made him with his own hands, she had never met someone as mesmerizing as him.
He gazed at her, with a hint of concern.
You okay?" He asked
She looked at him. If they hadn't kidnapped her nothing would have happened. Her admiration turned into irritation.
"Why you care" She asked surprising him
Why did you run away?" He tone colder and his eyes in furt
"So you wanted me to stay as prisoner forever"
"Because you ran away it happens" she rolled her eyes on his comment
"Not because you had kidnapped me in the first place" she snapped back at him.
"Let's go back," he said, taking a step towards her.
"Why should I come with you" she said as she took a step back.
She looked around, even though she wanted to escape her mind screamed that it wouldn't be a nice plan.
"Let me go you bastard" she said as he grabbed her hand and teleported her back
Her balance slipped as she was teleported back. She took hold of his hands for support. She felt her head spinning, and limbs weak.
She hadn't realised that he had made her sit on the nearby couch. She felt a glass being held on her lips, she drank it without caring.
After she had recovered, she realised that she was back there.
