- Ellie's P.O.V -
Today is the day I've been looking forward to, the day I lost them to them years ago. I will make them pay tenfold more for what they had done for me and for them. That is my promise. And me being me, I always keep my promises.
I couldn't help but reminisce as I looked at the photos on the wall in front of me. The smiles that I used to love, small jokes that I used to smile, stupid things that we used to do, every evening pack reunion that I used to look forward, everything come backs to my mind again. But one day due to one small mistake, Just because we let our guard down and we chose to believe a wrong person, I lost them all. I loved them. I still do.
It was the worst day of my life. Even after years and years, I still can't forget what happened on that day. Even the pain I had experienced in the past few years cannot compare to the pain I felt on that day.
They were once my family, my pack, but one evening, I lost them forever. The moment we let our guard down, they killed them, destroyed my pack, and deprived the world of my pack's existence. That's what they think. They don't know until that moment, the moment I'm waiting for, destroying my pack was the biggest mistake of their life. I'm going to have our revenge, not only mine. When I look at the people in downstairs who had lost their families, mates or even themselves because of them, confident and ready, I know we will win. Because this time we are ready..

She was 7 years old at that time. She was her father's princess and so was her pack. She had everything she wanted. She was never ready to lose them, but sometimes things come unexpectedly.
It was a Sunday evening. A fortnightly evening pack reunion was a tradition here. The men were talking about their day, the women were preparing dinner, the children were playing as usual. Looking at the peaceful atmosphere, one would never guess that this evening was the last day of this pack.
Blue Moon Pack
One of the world's strongest and mysterious pack. But because of one mistake, that name was wiped from the world. Since there had been no attackers for the past few weeks, everyone let their guard down and enjoyed the moment. Only after arrows started flying everywhere, they realized they were being attacked. By the time they realize what's going on, it's too late.
But they were called as one of the strongest pack in the world for a reason. With their quick reflexes and adaptability, they also began to fight. They could see they were cornered as rogues were all around them, their weapon store was in fire. Even the half of pack house and other small houses were in fire.
What they couldn't understand was how the rogues could do so much damage this fast?It was like they seem to know everything. The pack schedule, where the weapon was placed for an emergency, when they put there guard down, where the guards are, but how? As the battle grew fiercer, they had no time to think about it as they had to fight.
Many pack members were killed by arrows. If it was normal arrows, they won't have any problem with them. But the arrows were covered and layered with wolfsbane and silver.
Wolfbane and silver, they can harm wolves. But if they are mixed together, it can be a deadly poison for wolves. It takes only a few minutes to stop their blood circulation and die.
Blood, screams, shouts and sounds of fighting were everywhere. In a word, it's a mess.
Ellie's mother, Luna Haley, took Ellie's hand and placed her under the table next to them. She could tell something was wrong, Looking at the rogues who seems to know every corner of the pack and the guards who had been secretly guarding the area now dead, she knew someone had betrayed them. But who and why? That was the only question on her mind. Making sure her daughter was safe, she looked at her mate now busy fighting with rogues in his wolf form. Her eyes were glowing with hatred for the rogues.
The attackers are none other than the Devil's Pack, a power-hungry ruthless pack known as the phobia of the supernatural world. They will go to any extreme to get the power they want. The reason they attacked the Blue Moon Pack was because they were worried that they would be a threat to them in the future.
As the fight escalated, Ellie's mother grabbed her and ran towards the pack house. As she saw something surprised, her mouth wide opened and her face was filled in disbelief. She grabbed Ellie and ran quicker. Ellie could hear her mother whispering curses and her voice full of disbelief. She led Ellie towards her mate, Alpha Jackson's office and began collecting files from the shelves on the wall. She quickly jotted something down on a file, put them in a book and gave them to Eli.
"When your wolf wakes up, open this and read it, no one can open this but you, it only opens when your wolf is there. And I will always love you, Ellie. Remember it my baby "
In a great hurry she kissed Ellie's forehead, she flipped a book on the bookshelf and revealed a secret passage.
"Run baby, find the other side of this passage. If I or your father don't come by tomorrow morning, you're going to have to run and live," she said as she pushed Ellie into the passage.
" But Mama... "
At that time, they heard a loud banging from behind the study door. "You have to go Ellie. Mommy will always love you. Be happy my child," she closed the passage and turned it over to a bookshelf as before. She is the Luna and she has a duty. She had to inform them about what they found, that they believed a wrong person. As the mother of the pack, she will fight for their pack until the last moment. Glancing at the closed passage that placed a bookshelf now for the last time, she turned with a determined look, shifted to her wolf and ran over to where her pack was.
"I love you too mama" Ellie said looking at the now closed door.
She never thought that this would be the last time she would see her mother again...
