' Unable are the loved to die, For love is immortality ' - Emily Dickinson
A bright beam of light appeared, blinding her eyes for a moment. Looking at the blurred image around her, she knew that this was not the forest. Because this place is too white to be a forest. Even through her blurred vision, she could see the white ceiling, the white walls, the white curtains. It was just too white enough to hurt her eyes.
Suddenly she saw the silhouette of a man, a very big man in front of her. She couldn't help but be afraid. Tears began to flow from her eyes. Her vision began to clear through the tears. She once again looked at the man and couldn't help but feel familiar looking at the man.
" You are.... "
She asked in a shaky voice after remembering that this man was the one she met in the forest before her vision went black.
" Oh my! You're awake. You have been out for two days now. How are you feeling? Are you okay? why are you crying? Is it hurt? Should I call for a doctor?.. Ahhhh.... I forget about it... Wait, Okay.... I will go and get a doctor "
The man said everything in one breath. She forgot to cry for a moment and looked dumbfounded at the direction he went. More like he ran.
"Don't worry about him. He is like that most of the time. "
Now hearing a new voice inside the same room as her, she jolted widely shocked. She turned her head at the direction where voice came and saw a boy that looked like slightly older than her.
" Hi! Sorry if I make you worried, I am Elias, Elias Hales. And that was my father Nathan Hales. We found you in the Nightfall forest "
The boy, who introduced himself as Elias, continued talking about how they found her when she was unconscious in the forest.
She stared in a daze ahead her. She could see his mouth opening and closing, but she couldn't hear what he was saying. Everything from yesterday started coming to her mind. Her mother, her pack and her father. She knew he was no more as she felt it.
" Where is my papa? Did you see him? "
But she asked still-nonstop-talking-Elias to know that at least they found him. But she knew it was hopeless. Elias stopped talking, slightly startled by her question.
" Your papa? We only saw you. wait... why are you crying? Are you in pain?..... Where is this dad? Wait, OK? I'll find him and get him "
He ran in the same direction her father ran awhile ago.
She cried herself to sleep and passed out again while thinking again and again about her father in her heart.
