After getting out of the principal's chamber, I was escorted by the two security guards Kota said were trained fighters sent by the Yakuza. They escorted me out of the room, through this metal box that delivered us downstairs, which I learned was called an Elevator.
When the Elevator door opened, I saw the familiar view of the school, where many students and teachers roamed, chatted, and played. They have happy faces and cheerful attitudes.
A very illogical thing to see, especially after learning what the Ruler system truly is. The Rulers as their names suggest indeed rules the school ground. I can't figure out why. Why aren't these kids choosing another school instead of this delinquent-infested place where physical strength rules supreme? Why would they go to a school where bullying is tolerable? And why… Even after knowing that their lives could be at risk at any given time, they're still smiling…
I go out and all the students and teachers are so stunted to see me that the previous cheerful hallway went dead quiet.
They make way for the security guards and me.
I see a student sneakily trying to take a picture of me.
I see a student who is watching me with an admirable gaze.
I see a young female teacher watching me with puzzled expression.
I walked down the hallway into my classroom and the security guards bid me farewell. It's now still lunchtime even though it's almost nearing the end of it. I opened the classroom door and the students gasped but they didn't speak. They're too speechless of what's going on.
Aren't I supposed to be in jail after killing someone?
Aren't I supposed to suffer a penalty after breaking the Ruler's code?
Is what they must've been thinking right now, but instead of my pessimistic suspicion, my classmates smiled a welcome smile.
I was confused.
Aren't they scared?
They're facing a murderer.
Why are they smiling?
I was bewildered but all my questions were soon answered when a classmate stood up from his seat.
"Kenma-kun. Umm… We don't know how to bring this out to you but, umm… We're actually thankful for what you did." A classmate said, I widened my eyes.
'What? Thankful? What I did? For murdering someone on broad daylight?' I thought.
"Thanks to you we don't need to worry about getting bullied anymore." The same classmate said and others nod in agreement.
'So it's like that, huh? But is killing him a justifiable act even if he did bully you. *sigh* But again, I killed many people in the past. So I guess I have no right saying that.' I thought inwardly while facing my seat and realized something.
"Where are Kota and Inu?" I asked the same classmate.
"Oh. They're alright. They're in the school infirmary. I can take you there." The classmate says.
"Take me there."
–
In the school infirmary,
"Oni-chan… Do you know what penalty a Ruler can get if they kill someone." Inu asked Kota because she is also worried about Kenma. Seen by their actions before, they are often bullied and no one's willing to stand up for them.
When seeing Kenma destroying the bullies. Plundering them… Killing them. They didn't know a killer or a sadist. They saw a mantel of hope, one that could make their lives less miserable.
"I… don't know. Only a Ruler knows it." Kota answered when the door flung open wide.
"Kota! Inu!"
"Kenma?!" They both gasped at the same time.
"Yo." I waved my hand. "Are you both alright?"
"Nonono. Waiiittt… Hold the fuck up. Why are You asking us that?" Kota pointed at me. "We are the ones who are supp-
"Shut up, Oni-chan! You talk too much." Inu interrupted. "Are you alright, Kenma-kun?"
"Mhm. I'm good as new. What about you guys? You were beaten up pretty badly."
"Oh that? That was nothing. That was a normal Monday for us." Kota said.
"Ohh… That's tragic."
"No need to be sorry." Kota said as he slowly got up from his sleeping position. "Urgh. My back still aches, but I think I recovered."
Then, Inu tried to sit up as well.
"Hmm?" Inu wiggles her body. "I think I'm good to go. Hahaha! Oni-chan, you lost to a little girl." She smiled smugly at Kota.
"Heh? But I took a hit for you. Aren't you at least a tad bit grateful?" Kota annoyedly says.
"Grateful? Grateful?! Why would I, a holy knight, spares a grace for your tiny presence?"
"Tch. You and your fuckin weeb-ish attitude."
"Huuuuuuuh?! What did you say?"
"Oh you heard me fuckin loud and clear. Your attitude annoys me. Baka Inu!"
"What do you mean?! Baka Oni-chan!"
"Well, of course, you know What..." And the ranting goes on and on.
Haha... Seeing them like this, makes me feel oddly happy.
*sigh*
Such a weird feeling it is.
Maybe this is why I feel fear when I see them in their dreadful state. Maybe I don't want to lose anyone else.
My mom and father left a big unhealed scar that hurts more than any other battle scars I possess. Thankfully, I have other personalities to tend me!

In a classroom,
"Jae-ha senpai!" A student barged into the classroom at lunchtime.
"Huh? Oh. Lee-kun. What happened? I heard there's a fight that happened downstairs." A man with half black and half blonde hair said as he rested his feet carelessly up the table.
"You must look at this." The student named Lee, ran to the student named Jae-ha while holding a phone in his hand.
"Oho. Is this the new transfer student?" A girl behind Jae-ha said. "He's cute."
Lee then played the recording on his phone.
--
5 minutes later,
"Oy Oy Oy! This transfer kid is good!" Jae-ha said.
Lee nods, "This video blew up on Synch-gram." Lee looked at his phone and widened his eyes, "See! Look!" Jae-ha looks at Lee's phone, "Even Hama-senpai liked the video."
Suddenly an unknown man with a bulky body appeared behind Jae-ha, "Yeah. Hama-senpai is interested in this kid."
"Donny-kun? You saw the video?"
"Yeah. That transfer kid is good. Hama-senpai asked me to test him." The student called Donny said.
"Hama-senpai? That ignorant imbecile is finally interested in someone?!" Jae-ha exclaimed.
"Yeah Jae-ha-san. Hama sent me down to check on him."
"Hoh? Donny-kun... How about this. Leave the fighting to me, I'll test this kid myself."
"Really, Jae-ha? You're just going to end up crippling another newbie." Donny said.
"Since Hama-senpai is interested. I suppose I could hold back for once."
Jae-ha: Top 21.
