Chapter 11 - In Which, The Fight Ends in a Peculiar Way.

"Gear fourth: Bounceman."

Every student is shocked. They're speechless.

HAHAHA! The world shall see the power that dwells deep inside of me.

*CLICK* My personality flipped.

Ahem. I'll explain how this is a good move.

When I watched the anime Inu-chan showed me, I had an idea. What if I used the stance portrayed in front of me and combined all of my techniques into one. It's not impossible because this stance is superb for combining techniques.

It's highly versatile, how? Come on Kenma it's literally a stance used by a giant rubber boy who has these supernatural powers that defies any earthly physics. Well, I thought of that as well. Until I actually tried it in my room.

It worked exponentially. The bouncing feet will distract the opponents, the stretched out palm will create distance between me and the enemy, me facing sideways makes great improvisations I could direct.

I- it's hard to explain it but it's easier to actually show it.

Looking at Jae-ha's face, my plan is already working. He's completely confused.

*CLICK*

My flip switched again. I turned from my logical side to my sadist side. I grinned and drools dripped down from my grinning smile to the floor.

Students are looking at me weirdly at how fast my personality switched. Jae-ha stood there silently observing me from head to toe trying to figure out what in the world I'm doing.

HAHAHA! He's completely confused.

I'm fucking confused. What is this boy doing?!

If this is supposed to be a stance to fight then I don't think it's a great stance. I mean there's so many openings.

I could time it so that when he's in the air after he bounced, I could attack him and there's nothing he could do to prevent it. His whole backside is open. There's so many errors in this stance.

But what… is this uneasy feeling?! His grinning face. It made me think that he's baiting me to do exactly that. I couldn't figure out what this boy was thinking.

I faced many opponents using many martial arts yet this… This is something out of fiction or something. What in the world…

I don't think it's wise to attack him straight away so I should go on defense for now.

I stretched both of my legs to the side and sat in the air. Right fist faces upwards and is kept by my right hip. Left palm stretches forward at the enemy.

Soryu Shiki: Form Hitotsu

"Oy!" I shouted. "YOUR MOVE!"

Jae-ha is shocked. His face frowned at my taunt.

I look to the right where I can see my classroom and see Inu-chan looking at me with worry and support in her face. She saw me looking at her and worded 'Fight on!' using her mouth.

My grin became wider, my teeth showed up and students were too terrified to speak. So terrified that they're backing off.

"Devil." A student mumbles. He's too terrified to move a single inch because of the sight he's seeing. All trembles before my presence.

Jae-ha even though frowned at my taunt seems unfazed. He is smart. Smart enough to not let his ego take control of him. A very very calculative opponent.

I faced one such as Jae-ha before, he died at my hands after he threatened my family. How unfortunate, we could've become great friends.

I bounce higher and higher then I launch at him. My speed and rhythm is four times faster than in previous times. I arrived at his face with a fist nearing. He reacted quickly and dodged to the right but before that I alternated my punch into a back kick by swiftly using my right hand and gesturing it to my left hip. Using the force accumulated by the swift turn I spin mid air and back kick Jae-ha's chest with my left foot.

He stumbled 2 steps backward while clenching his chest which he soon realized was a bad thing. He lowered his guard. I bounced again and used both my hands to hold him in place and kneed him with my right knee.

This is the same movement Jae-ha used to that boy in the recording.

Jae-ha falls backward and I bounced above his laying body and landed right on his stomach.

*COUGH* He spits his saliva.

To my surprise he hasn't fainted yet so I jumped again as high as I could and cannonball to his stomach. Again and again.

The ceramic floor broke to pieces and Jae-ha lays down with his lifeless eyes.

"I- is he dead?" A student asked behind me.

"No. Haha… This tough son of a bitch won't die just like that. Get him to the infirmary. I- need… to."

I fell down and fainted from exhaustion and pain. I had never fought like this before.

Before my eyes shut I managed to take a peek at the clock above.

'30 minute fight non-stop… Hahaha… NEW RECORD!' I thought aloud in my head.

Then, I faint.

The news that Jae-ha lost to a newbie spread wide across four Garan schools. Kota and Inu can't believe it. All students can't believe it.

The top 107 beats the top 21. It's an unbelievable news. Many was surprised, many was enraged and the one who's most enraged is a student named Hama.

--

In a cafe, a very bulky guy and a petite girl is seating side by side discussing something.

"Jae-ha got... defeated?" The bulky guy said disbelieved of what he had heard.

"Hama-kun... Yes and unfortunately he is hospitalized. Broken ribs, broken nose. That's all." The girl said.

"And who defeated him?"

"The freshman you took interest in."

"Azusa. What is your take on this?" Hama asked.

"Hmm... The freshman can't cheat since it's a broad daylight fight and Jae-ha-kun strikes first. I checked the video several times and I see no traces of any kinds of editing. It's real Hama-kun. Jae-ha is defeated by a newbie." Azusa said.

"What do you think we should do?"

Azusa sighed and grabbed Hama's hand and covers it with hers. "We should try and solve this peacefully. Okay, Hama?"

Hama blushed, "Of course dear anything for you."

This news spread far but not far enough that anyone in the world knows. However, a specific woman that is very smart and competent, who has an information intel stretched across the globe, took notice on this.

In an exquisite apartment with chandeliers hanging down the ceiling. A stair that leads to a very gorgeous bedroom with a sophisticated and elegant desk filled with technologies.

There are 3 high end monitors stretched from left to right. There is a version of a Herman Miller chair that is not only expensive but is also very rare. A custom keyboard with adjusted linear switches and minimalistic keycaps. A wireless mouse that surpasses others in terms of specs. A clean and spotless mousepad made out of unique woven wool explicitly designed for mouse glides. A headset that has the quality of the best speakers.

A dream room for any person who works in the I.T. department.

Sitting on the Herman Miller chair, a woman with white and strikes of blue hair dyed so pleasingly that it looks like she's naturally born with it.

A seductive face with beautiful blue irises, a woman with many talents and a perfect personality, Lesley Moriarty is an heiress to one of the biggest mafias on planet earth.

Looking 18 but aged 25 and has managed to conquer 85% of Europe, 55% of America, and 25% of Asia in terms of territory. A drug lord that makes any drugs looks tempting even on the eyes of a religious person.

Suddenly her phone that has the same looks to Kenma's phone, rings.

"Is it about my little brother?"

"I don't want to hear it then."

"Oh? It's been a long time I heard anything from there. Except when my gran-gran told me that her sister gave birth to that madlad Mado Kirisu."

"No. I've heard of it, but shrugged it off as some teenagers fighting club. If you waste my time here, you should be ready to invite your family to attend your funerals, Otto."

"What's so interesting about this news, Otto?"

A video was sent through WhatsApp.

20 minutes later,

"Hmm... Kenma Houtarou, huh?"

The man behind the audio sweats nervously. From his tone of voice you can hear very clearly that he's trying his best to impress his Madame.

"Yes. It very much does. Thank you, Otto." The call ended. "Thank you indeed. Let's see whatcha' got, Kenma Houtarou." Lesley stretches her arm and sticks it to her keyboard and intently watch her monitor.
