Arthur gently placed his lips on Penelope's, this time it wasn't a powerful kiss, it was a loving one, he was trying to make her feel better, and it worked. There was no sexual component in this kiss, but one of true emotional feelings. It was only a short one. Arthur pecked Penelope a final time at the end before seperating their lips.
"Do you understand now?" He stroked her cheek.
"Do you understand how I feel already? That's all you, you made me feel this way ok?"
Penelope nods slowly at him, a small smile upon her plump lips.
"Thank you for making me feel better, I'm sorry I just paniced, it just seems too good to be true, but I get it now" She's pushes her cheek into Arthur's hand more, making him smile.
"So I want to see you again, did I make that clear?" He smirked.
"Yes you did" Penelope giggled.
"Ok well, I will find you again" He smiled.
"Can't I just have your number?"
"Oh my you want my number?" Arthur put his hand on his heart again cheekily.
"Fine" She began to stomp off.
"Hey hey come on now" He held her arm so she didn't walk away.
"Here's my number" Arthur began to write his number down on a napkin and placed it into Penelope's soft hand.
"Thank you" She smiled.
They began to walk back though the pub, stopping at Penelope's car.
"Nice car" Arthur smiled as he admired Beauty.
"Isn't she just" Penelope sighed happily.
"It's a she?" Arthur chuckled.
"Yes, she's called Beauty" Penelope growled.
"It matching the owner then" Arthur purred.
"I'll give you that one that was good" Penelope giggled at Arthur's statement.
Arthur smiled at her, she then suddenly stood on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek. She jogged round to the drivers side to open the door.
"I'll call you" Speaking over the car top to him, "Bye Arty" she smirked humourously.
"Bye Pennie" He smiled, not really wanting her to leave.
"I like that better" She smiled sweetly over to him.
She got in her car and reversed, waving to him as she drove off, Arthur waved back. He watched her drive away until he couldn't see her car no more. He had spotted a large shaded tree to the right of the pub, walking over to it, he stood out of sight.
"Back to Magnus Luna Insulam" Arthur sighed, suddenly disappearing into thin air...
---Magnus Luna Insulam Dimension---
Arthur reappeared in the guardsman tunnel, the entrance to the world he was born in, where the Great Moon split Earth into another dimension, and where the Immortal King, his grandfather, had his gift granted.
His shoes echoed loudly against the concrete floor through the dark tunnel, only lit up slightly by dim service lighting. 'This is a miserable entrance' Arthur always thought, 'why don't they put in bloody plants and brighter lights? Jesus it's not like they don't have the powers to do so'. He ruffled his hair as he walked through the tunnel alone, suddenly hearing a voice from the darkness'.
"Picum Smaragdus, welcome back Sir".
"Leon I already told you, it's welcome back Prince to you, and I can see you, as I have said before" Arthur smirks at his best friend as he approaches.
"I have also told you, Sir, that you are not a Prince in this land if you haven't taken a wife and both been granted a gift by the Great Moon, as well as being an ACTUAL royal" Leon strides over to him jesting.
"I am a royal, I am the son of a prince and the grandson of The Immortal King" Arthur hits Leon hard on the arm as he smiles.
"Good to see you brother" Leon smacks Arthur on the back as they exchange a short hug.
"Well I can barely see you in these fucking lights when are they going to do something about this?" Arthur grumbles.
"There is a reason it is like this Arthur, so no one can see me coming" Leon chuckles slightly.
"I did from a mile off".
"Well you shouldn't be the most powerful being then in the dimension" Leon scoffed at Arthur, happy really to see his good friend return.
Leon is, some may say, a hulk of a man. He was the head guardmans, and the most powerful. He had shoulder length black messy hair, a plaited beard tied with red vine, and massive muscly shoulders, arms and legs. He always wore a full suit of black leather armour, including black chainmale that went over his shoulders onto his chest and back. He also sported a dark longsword, again all black, however the black on the blade had a tinge of red on it, which you could see a little in the dark, but glowing bright in the light. Leon had the soul of a Black Bear (Nigrum Ursi) which suited him greatly. Although he has a strong description, he was a kind and loyal man. They met when they were both in defence training when they were ten years old, Leon being roughly two months older than Arthur.
"Well mate it was good catching up with you but I better head off" Arthur pats Leon on the shoulder as he begins to walk off.
"Where have you got to be that is so damn important?" Leon roars, mighty as he looks, all the while smirking at Arthur.
"I need to see our Immortal King immediately, I may have a problem"...
