Penelope heart was thudding for a good twenty minutes after she had sent the text to Arthur. She had instantly regretted it, being the one to make the first move. 'I really enjoyed us getting to know each other, why did I say that for?!' Penelope questioned herself in her head, 'what if I get rejected, what if I came across like I was easy, oh what is happening to me?!' She stood up from the garden table to then walk back inside to plant face first into her sofa, dropping her phone to the floor.
Hardy followed her intently, jumping up and laying on her back as she laid head first, all Penelope did was grumble to herself.
Another ten minutes, roughly, passed by, Hardy was now sound asleep on Penelope's back. She didn't move, a, because Hardy was too heavy, b, she didn't want to wake him up, and c because she liked the feeling of company. But if she was honest with herself, Penelope was tired from all the revelations, and wanted to fall asleep, but as soon as she nodded off, she heard a loud ping. Her phone...
Penelope picked her phone from the floor quickily to check it was from Arthur, and she was not surprised it w... Well it was Arthur! 'Fuck' she thought to herself, her heart rate suddenly pounding as she opened the message...
Text reads-- Hey Pennie, it's nice to hear from you. Of course it was my number, I did think about not giving you my number at all ;) But 'seriously though', I really enjoyed us getting to know each other too and I would like to see you tomorrow. So the question is, resturant, movie or both? 'Let me know', but seriously let me know I'll be bored out of my skull tomorrow :)x.
"Oh my god" Penelope said loudly.
Hardy woofed at Penelope as she spoke, 'she woke me up' he thought. He moodly jumped off of her back and went to lay on Penelope's bed. As soon as Hardy jumped off her back, she stood and paced up and down the floor with her phone in her hand, staring at Arthur's text. 'Resturant, movie or both?' she repeated over and over in her brain. 'OH MY GOD IS IT AN ACTUAL DATE?!' She repeated over and over, and over. Then suddenly she hears another ping.
Text reads-- Oh yes, it is a date, Pennie.
Penelope couldn't help but smile, Arthur read her mind, again. As much as Penelope wanted to ask questions about that morning with the woodpecker, the car journey, the meeting her suddenly and the dropping her equipment off, a man who she actually an undeniable connection with wanted to date her, and she couldn't be happier.
Penelope forgot all the questions she needed to ask, and couldn't think of anything else then him resuming what he was going to do to her in her wet dream... 'Stop it you are getting too excited too soon, stop' she told herself, automaticially rubbing her legs together at the thought. 'God he makes me so horny'.
She laughed to herself then took a shaky breath, Penelope knew she couldn't act like this in front of him anymore, he already knew he's turnt her on, just by touching her jaw! But when she was around him, she felt something. Almost like she could not stop herself from wanting him, and the same was for Arthur, they didn't know each other very well, but they knew that.
Penelope thought he was a flirt from the beginning, and right she was, so she decided to play him at his own game. By flirting, well Penelope's way of flirting...
Text reads-- I didn't ask if it was a date or not, maybe I just want to be friends.
Text reads-- Oh Pennie do you really expect me to believe that?
Text reads-- Oh Arthur, you will believe what I tell you.
Text reads-- After the effect I clearly had on you, please.
Penelope's heart jumped at his text, even though she knew it was obvious, having him say it to her was even worse, so she bit her lip and continued.
Text reads-- Ah yes the effect of clear boredom made me act odd.
Arthur smirks as he is clearly flirting with her (she tried to be discrete but it never worked), he liked the fiery side to her, as well as the clever side.
Text reads-- We both know we will never get bored of each other, let's face it, so we might as well get on it and go on a date, I am losing patience ;)
Text reads-- You are so demanding Arthur.
Text reads-- So are you, so it's the perfect match.
Text reads-- When have I demanded you?
Text reads-- You will, soon enough ;)
Penelope's heart raced, as well as knowing Arthur was a flirt, he was also very suggestive towards her. Ultimately, as well as having a soul connection, they had strong sexual chemistry. The thing is, when the race Anima De A Animālis has sexual chemistry with another, they eventually become 'hungry' for each other, wanting to have sex with the other as soon as they see them, and not gently either.
But when they have a soul connection, it is even stronger, and needs to be dealt with very early on, otherwise their animal souls could appear during the beings sexual frustration, and not disappear until 'it is dealt with', it could cause serious issues if they want to travel to diffrent dimensons, or in an area you want your soul to be hidden... This means, Arthur will have to quench his thirst eventually, Penelope however at this point, was not aware of it, she was going to be in for a lovely surprise...
