The next day Wo Shie woke up a little after dawn and exited his inner universe. He then started to move upstream in the direction he saw the bear-wolf moving, he was surprised that after walking for an hour he still hadn't seen any mythic beast.
He suspected that this is most likely the territory of the bear wolf creature for it to be barren of wild beast.
As he approached the mountain he saw a cave at the base of the mountain where the river was leaving the mountain at.
Seeing the cave Wo Shie assumed that this must be the cave of the bear-wolf. When he saw how dark the cave was before even entering his entire body began to shake in fear as his mind went wild with the possibilities of a different beast in this cave or being attacked by the bear-wolf.
While he was walking toward the cave before he could even enter the cave a loud voice boomed out from the cave.
"What are you doing here child?" A domineering voice sounded startling and making the young Wo Shie fall backwards onto his buttocks as he trembled a little.
"I-I just wanted to r-return a fish I received from a beast as t-thanks for helping me" Wo Shie stumbled as much on his words as he fell the flat ground in his fear.
"I see.." after the voice said this a man about 7ft tall walked out of the cave, he had on shorts with a bare chest. He was extremely muscular and resembled a silver sculpture. As he walked out he began to transform into the bear wolf and said "now where is it"
Seeing this horrific sight of a man's body transforming into that of a beast Wo Shie felt his stomach churning. As he witnesses the grotesque mess of his bones enlarging underneath his human skin while his skull transformed into that of a beast and growing hair all over his body.
It looked extremely painful and even more so unsightly.
The man that turned into a bear-wolf then made a light sound to pull Wo Shie out of his stupor. Wo Shie coming back to his senses reached to his waist where he'd used a part of his sleeve to tie the fish and handed one of the cooked fish to the bear-wolf.
As soon as he handed it over the bear-wolf gulped it down in one bite and let out a loud roar causing birds to fly out of trees and the entire ground to shake. One would have thought he caused a rock slide if they didn't look up the mountain to see the peace and stillness remained somehow.
"What what did you do to the fish?!" The bear asked Wo Shie as his body began to grow and its form started to turn into more like that of a wolf-man. Standing on its hind legs.
The man's figure turned into something of a werewolf. He stood on his back legs at around 13ft as his claws got sharper and his teeth grew longer. His eyes changed to a shade of grey and his fur became as black as the night sky with tinges of silver.
"I-I I just cooked it nothing else why was something wrong… are you okay this looks painful." Wo Shie responded to the man bear-wolf that had turned into a werewolf.
The man looked down at his body noticing his beast form changing and also feeling a rush of energy flowing into him.
Once he fully changed forms into a werewolf black goo started to come out of his fur as his body was being cleansed of impurities.
If he were to asses his current strength now he'd probably say that he was 3 times stronger than what he was before due to a qualitative change in his entire body.
"What's your name kid? My name is Fu Shen it's nice to meet ya and thanks for that fish I don't know what you did to it but hell I feel wonderful!" Fu Shen thanked Wo Shie and praised the results he felt inside his body.
"I am Wo Shie im glad I was able to repay the favor to Senior Fu"
Fu Shen was happy to meet Wo Shie but his brows furrowed as he looked at Wo Shie seriously. "What's a kid like you doing out here in the middle of the forest im sure you know one wrong move and you'll be a memory, there are even some places in here even I wouldn't have went before today"
Wo Shie was surprised he asked this question but then remembering he was a human that turned into a beast or maybe the other way around he must know some things.
This caused Wo Shie to fall into thought about telling how he actually ended up here or to just say he'd gotten lost.
"Look kid if you don't want to answer you don't have to, I have a more important question, I even feel that my soul was strengthened and I feel like we have some type of connection between us mind telling me what you did to that fish?"
Again Wo Shie was sent to the depths of his own thoughts as he began to think of how to explain that he cooked them without telling him about the universe within his body. It was also correct for him to say his body is this universe now that he has formed a solar mass within that void dimension.
He then decided to say he just kept pouring his energy into the fish until he felt like they we're edible and that might be the reason for the connection.
The man was hesitant but accepted Wo Shie's answer seeing him go deep into thought before he answered the question.
'Not a simple one at all…' the man thought to himself as he observed Wo Shie.
Wo Shie remembering this was an opportunity with an adult that might know something looked up at the man and asked, "Senior Fu do you know how I can get back to civilization?"
Fu Shen observed Wo Shie as if he was looking at an enigma. After some consideration he responded. "The only civilization you'll find around here is small villages protected or extorted by mercenary groups. The nearest place with actual 'civilization' would probably take you a couple years to walk to, not to mention the beast you'd encounter on the way."
Wo Shie's face drained of hope and any good feelings he may have had upon hearing this.
"How about this kid you can stay with me for a year until I return to where I'm from it's big city called Lone Wolf city and we're actually one of the top 3 cities on this entire supercontinent." Fu Shen proposed a deal to Wo Shie that he'd take him with him if he stayed here with him in the forest for a year.
