Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

"I'm picking CK." Jason said to Jordan. Jordan looked in surprise at Jason.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes I'm sure." Jordan immediately grabbed the phone and swiped.

"Pick someone else, come on look at this. Alexander Methosis is great for someone of your caliber when it comes to video games."

Jason shook his head. "No thanks, I always preferred guns in video games over swords."

Jordan tried convincing Jason to pick another person but it was to no avail. "Guns are weaker than swords in this game."

"That doesn't make sense, guns are already superior to swords they should only get more powerful."

Jordan held his forehead and sighed. "You know what forget it. Just remember to complete the tutorial no matter what, well it's not like you have choice."

"Ok. By the way..."

"Yes..."

"CK, does that stand for your rap name when..."

"NO!" Jordan said in a panic. It stood for Camden Killa and that was the stage name he wanted to go by when he was going through his rap phase.

"What does it stand for then?"

"It stands for uh... Nothing. It's just his name."

"Uhu" Jason stood in front of the portal. The energy and heat coming from it was incredible. It was swirling like darkness in the abyss. The energy was powerful and there was a weak gravitational pull on it.

"Wish me luck..." Jason said.

"Hold on one second..." Jordan quickly typed into the phone and then glanced at Jason. "Okay, your good to go..." he said.

Jason stepped into the portal. Little did he know that he would never come out of it and what awaited him was his destiny. His fate that had already been written.

As soon as Jason entered the portal Jordan sighed and snapped his finger. A chair materialized out of thin air and he sat down on it. Behind him stood the driver. The driver immediately knelt down on one knee and placed one fist on the ground.

"Sire..."

"What is Bolo?" Jordan asked.

"If I may be so bold as to ask you this... why did you not tell Jason that he will be stuck in that other world forever."

Jordan glanced at the driver before letting go of himself and slumping on the chair.

"It's quite simple really, it's because he is my friend!"

Jordan noticed the confused look on the driver's face. He sighed and snapped his fingers. The portal closed instantly and the four boxes at each edge combined into one and flew into Jordan's hand.

"Jason is special... he would always talk about living in an anime world or a fantasy world. He was very imaginative. He also had a crippling video game addiction. That man would be deemed unfit to be part of society. He would find it hard to make friends, find a job, get along with people or start a family. He would never be happy no matter what... but in this world, he only needs himself."

"He can enjoy his own company as he discovers the secrets of that world, he will discover the value of hardwork and find joy in growing stronger. Video games are the most important things in his life. Now he gets to live in a video game far away from society and their judgement, far away from people who annoy him. His life has only started. It's a shame though..."

"What is sire?" The driver asked.

"Since he can't log out the system has registered him as an NPC. If he dies once then he will be gone for good. Had he just chosen Alexander Methosis he would have gained immortality. I at least gave him a few power ups and a five week head start before the other players join."

The driver was confused. Were the other players not inside yet? As if reading his mind Jordan answered him. "No, this technology has not been released to the public yet. We'll have to advertise the shit out of this portal vr until people start having dreams about it."

Jason stepped inside the portal. Although it had been radiating heat it was cold to the touch. It was almost like ice touching ones skin.

A bright light hit Jason's eyes and he closed them. He slowly opened them and found himself in a strange place. It was a beautiful garden that had been well kept.

The bushes and shrubbery was sculpted into the figure of several different birds. Swans, robins, crows, swallows, falcons and eagles. The grass was green and there were several oak trees. There was also a small lake with several flamingos drinking water from them.

"WOOOOOW! These graphics are FUCKING INSANE!" Jason shouted. The graphics were so good that they looked so lifelike. The way the wind blew on leaves, the feathers on the flamingos, the way the small lady bugs moved around and even the way the light reflected of the water. Everything was ridiculously so accurate to real life.

Jason's mind was blown away. He did not even think that something like this was possible. Creativity and imagination of this level was beyond his feeble human mind. Just the level of skill alone needed to make something like this was ridiculous. Jason would have thought that it was actually made by aliens and they had simply forgotten to take their technology when they were leaving earth had Jordan not told him he made it.

Jason spent his time looking around. He spent some time touching the objects and was surprised when he found out he could actually feel them.

What surprised Jason the most was his physique. When he looked at his reflection in the mirror he saw how he looked. He was a tall man with dark skin. He had nappy hair, wore a blue cardigan, combat trousers, combat boot with pocket chains and a heavy belt. There was a dagger and a pistol in his thigh pockets.

There was a choker necklace around his his neck and a necklace with a bright blue stone in the middle of it.

"WOW!" Those were the only words Jason could mutter.
