Chereads / Dating A Badgirl / Chapter 4 - 4. Inversely proportional

Chapter 4 - 4. Inversely proportional

For some people, having a boyfriend who can do anything for you is one of the things that can make the relationship last. Yes, Atthera also agrees with that. Especially if the boyfriend pays more attention to us. It will be very pleasant, right?

But what if the opposite happens? The boyfriend we love prefers to spend his time with other women. He says he loves us. But what he does is not in line with his words, and unfortunately, it happened to a girl who is now sitting pensively in front of her boyfriend's class. Waiting for him to ask to go home together. Not knowing if her boyfriend would fulfill her request, or just refuse to return like before.

Feeling something touch her head, Atthera looked up and found Kafka standing in front of her with a sweet smile.

"Hi," he greeted warmly and sat down next to Atthera, his girl.

"Let me guess. You must be waiting for someone, right?"

Atthera nodded enthusiastically, "Yes. Guess who it is?"

Kafka made a face pretending to think, "Who is it? Could it be that princess Atthera is waiting for prince Kafka to come home together?" he guessed playfully while pinching Atthera's cheek. A very sweet moment, isn't it?

"A hundred for you soldier!" she replied, making them laugh together. Behind the happy laughter, another girl secretly clenched her fist in displeasure from behind the classroom door. Looking at Atthera sarcastically, cursing her inwardly.

"It's all right, soldier. You should have said, 'Yes, Prince Kafka is incomparably handsome. Like that," Kafka said softly, which was greeted by a small chuckle from Atthera's mouth.

"Ah, already ah. Let's go home! Joking with you will never end, Kaf," said Atthera standing up, followed by Kafka who linked their hands. Atthera tried to count first. How many times have the two of them walked like this in the school corridor? Could it be as often as Kafka who was often seen walking together with Thea? Or even less than that.

"Where's Thea?" Atthera asked idly. Deliberately wanting to lure the man into telling her about the useless one.

Soon they would arrive at the parking lot. Unfortunately, Kafka only gave a brief shrug. His expression changed when Atthera asked that.

"Do you like him? Hahaha, I'm not jealous or anything. I'm just asking," said the girl who was now secretly biting her lower lip groggily.

Kafka turned his face away. Reluctant to look at Atthera.

"I'm asking you a question. Do you like her? If you like her, it's okay. If you don't like her, that's fine too. I'm just-"

Kafka suddenly stopped her.

"What are you talking about, Ra? How many times have I told you that I only like and love you? There is no other woman and there never will be, Atthera," Kafka joked with a very serious look in his eyes. There was a warm feeling inside Atthera when Kafka said that he loved her. But unfortunately, the image of Sankara's face suddenly crossed her mind.

"I love you too," Atthera replied. The girl stood on tiptoe to give her boyfriend a quick peck on the cheek. Afterward, Kafka with his sweet self helped Atthera put the helmet on her head.

"Don't go, Ra?"

Kafka hoped that her question or request would be answered by Atthera. But unfortunately, the girl was silent. Just looking at her as if she did not know what answer she would say. Was Atthera going to leave him? No, she wasn't. Kafka never expected that to happen. Although he sometimes doubted his heart.

While on the other hand

Sankara was struggling with his thoughts. He was confused about what her next step would be. Is working part-time the best solution for now? He needed money to pay the tuition fee for last month and this month.

He was born into a well-off family. Very well-off in fact. But everything was not as easy as it seemed. Her father, a successful businessman, often sends tens of millions of money personally or for her school fees. But for a year since Sankara entered high school, he had never used his father's money. He told you, right? Everything is not as easy as it seems. There was a lot of drama in Sankara's life that never ended. She had only used the money left over from her savings and now it was running low.

"You're quiet like a sick chicken. What's wrong, you're out of cigarettes?"

The source of the voice came from behind her back, who was now sitting next to her.

Sankara stretched his legs forward, then turned to Sena who was also looking at him. Between the girl's fingers, there was a cigarette with a burnt butt, "Here." She threw the pack of cigarettes at Sankara's thigh. For a moment, Sankara just looked at it without interest, "

"Bitch!" cursed Sankara, slapping Sena roughly on the head.

Instead of getting angry, the crazy girl burst out laughing.

"I'm looking for you," she accused Sankara, who was busy smoking a cigarette.

"Not a friend either," Sankara said scathingly.

Sena looked at him with pursed lips, "That's right San. It's been almost two years since we skipped class together. And you don't consider me a friend? You're such an asshole," Sena snapped angrily. He didn't hesitate to punch Sankara on the shoulder.

"Speak up," He snickered at Sena.

The girl's clothes were no longer in order. The tie was nowhere to be seen, the shirt was out, and the skirt was short above the thighs. What a bad girl!

"You're not home yet, you must be waiting for your uncle to pick you up, right?"

Hearing that question suddenly made Sena pinch Sankara's stomach hard.

"That's a really weak mouth, you idiot. My father has a lot of money, it will never run out. Why would I open a booking? Better we go out," said Sena starting to digress. Not forgetting to boast about his parents' wealth.

"Dating dating! How many times have you been used by Sena's men?" said Sankara scathingly.

"Damn you. I'm still a virgin. Still pure. Do you think I don't know that you often go back and forth between hotels and aunties? I know!" said Sena not to be outdone. He pulled down his eyebrows. Teasing Sankara with a naughty smile on his thick lips. Sankara did not remain silent. Her hand roughly ruffled Sena's hair until the bun came loose. Having a small fight with that girl seemed to relieve some of the stress he was experiencing earlier.

"I want to leave. Do you want to go home or do you still want to stay here?" asked Sankara, who could be said to be quite concerned with Sena.

Seeing Sena's short shake, Sankara quickly stood up. He had decided to look for a part-time job.

"Going home, San?" asked Sena when Sankara was about to turn around to go home. There was a sad tone in the question. Sankara was quite sensitive to Sena's facial expressions.

"None of your business."

"Oh well. Be careful," Sena replied briefly, then went back to enjoying an almost finished cigarette.

Deep down inside Sankara, he still wanted to be on the rooftop of this school. Have another small fight with Sena, while enjoying the afternoon sky. But there was something more important than that. Before he closed the rooftop door, Sankara looked back again. Staring at Sena's trembling back, with the girl's head bowed down.

Was Sena crying, or was she laughing?

Thinking about that, made Sankara collide with someone's body. Luckily, she was able to hold the hand of the girl she hit. Otherwise, the girl with glasses, who turned out to be Thea, would have fallen on the floor.

"Sankara waits," prevented Thea quickly.

She managed to stop the mischievous boy in his tracks. Although Sankara did not turn her back.

"Can I take you home? Em, that's why I-"

Before she could finish her sentence, she heard Sankara's frivolous laughter.

"Where's your boyfriend, the chairman of the committee, Miss Thea?" he asked. Thea's eyebrows knitted together. She was a bit confused by the question asked by one of the students who rarely or never spoke to her.

"You mean I don't even have a boyfriend."

"Oh yeah? You don't put-"

Sankara's sentence hung in the air. He remembered this was not his business now. He had to get out of school quickly.

"San- so fast," Thea muttered quite sadly as Sankara quickly disappeared from her sight. There was something wrong with the boy's gaze.

Sankara's eyes seemed to dislike her. But why? They were just classmates. That's all, nothing more. They never even talked. Thea knew Sankara was Kafka's enemy, but why did he dislike her too? Fyi. Sankara, Kafka, and Thea were in the same class. Either it was a coincidence or God had planned something for them.

"I thought I was the worst girl in the world. But after seeing you, I think you deserve that title."

Still, where she stood, Thea froze in place. Her eyes widened in disbelief at what she heard from someone behind her.

Sena, she thought.

With his bag slung over his shoulder, Sena walked slowly toward Thea. The smartest girl in school whom he overheard talking to Sankara a few minutes ago. Well, this is going to be fun. He thought.

"Oh, this is the one who said she was the smartest girl in Jubels," Sena shook his head with a small chuckle.

"Amalthea Raguna. Damn, your name is cool too," he said, spelling Thea's name.

"Sorry, I'll go first," said Thea who couldn't stand dealing with the school bad girl anymore. The air around her had changed from the first time Sena appeared.

"I've noticed that you've been sticking to Kafka a lot. Isn't it annoying, ma'am?"

Gotcha! Sena managed to stop Thea in her tracks. The girl sighed in annoyance for a moment before turning to look at him. Sighed in annoyance for a moment before turning to look at him.

"So you were so shameless about wanting to hitch a ride with Sankara. Don't you have any shame or have you lost your nerve?"

Unexpectedly for Sena before, Thea laughed at him.

"Don't be a hypocrite Sena. Who isn't interested in Kafka? Including you, right?" Thea smiled wryly.

Not to be outdone by Thea, Sena clapped his hands.

"Oh. But at least I'm not like you. You go around and around to get his attention," pausing briefly before he continued, "The guy you're dating already has a girlfriend. Be careful, just wait for the play date," she continued.

Sena knew that other women often prevented Atthera and Kafka's relationship from running smoothly.

Sena also knew that Atthera wouldn't let her relationship be disturbed just like that. The girl who looked sweet on the outside had prepared a big plan to avenge her heartache on Thea in the future.

And if that time came, Sena would only have to watch it with a cigarette tucked between his fingers.

Not wanting to prolong the conversation with Thea, Sena hurriedly left. But he didn't expect her to arrive in their midst.

"Kafka?" he muttered softly. Startled by Kafka who walked hurriedly towards the two of them.

Sena glanced at Thea who was already smiling beside him. Ah, he knew. Surely the chairman of the committee who often caught him skipping class had taken Atthera home, then quickly went to school again to pick up Thea. Crazy. What kind of game is this?

"Ouch, the prince is here. I'm really happy to be picked up by someone's boyfriend. Oops, crazy anyway. Just want to be the second. What a pity," Sena quipped scathingly. But unfortunately, Thea didn't seem to care about that.

"How come you're not home yet? Didn't you just-"

"I'm here to pick you up, Thea. Let's go home. You said this afternoon you wanted to go to the bookstore first, right? Come with me," Kafka said softly. They both seemed not to consider Sena's existence there.

After the two of them left with their hands clasped together, Sena chuckled sarcastically in surprise.

"Crazy. So the story is that the chairman of the committee is playing back with the nerd? Ow ow. Very interesting game," she monologued. Sena was grinning from ear to ear as Kafka's motorcycle sped out of the school gate. She had one good plan to continue his other plan.
