Chereads / Dating A Badgirl / Chapter 9 - 9. Something different

Chapter 9 - 9. Something different

In contrast to everyone who was still confused, in the corner of the class Sankara was smiling obliquely with his arms crossed in front of his chest. He really likes to make a small or big mess in this class that he considers toxic. After all, playing around with the teacher for a while might not be a problem. Yes, who else if not himself who was referred to by Mrs. Andesta.

He almost burst out laughing when Bona quipped that Kafka was the one who didn't submit the assignment. How crazy.

"You didn't submit the assignment?"

All attention was on Sankara when Bona guessed Sankara's name. Instead of feeling anxious, the bad boy smiled sweetly as if there was no burden at all in his life. He nodded his head, "What if I say yes?" he challenged.

"Instead of confessing from earlier, you just stay silent. You naughty boy!" sneered Tasya, she had returned to class first because during the patrol earlier they found no other students who skipped class besides Sena and Atthera.

Sankara grinned with one eyebrow raised, "Yeah if you're a guy, is that okay?"

"Cool ."

"You're crazy. Silent like a cynical guy, moving in on the deputy chairman of the committee."

Suddenly, his reply which seemed to tease Tasya made them both cheered with various kinds of crazy sentences. Some of them even started to match Sankara with Tasya. This made the girl's cheeks turn red. She rarely talked to Sankara during this time. Ah, correction. It seemed like it wasn't just her, but all the other friends as well.

It was Sankara who liked to disappear from class. Occasionally entering, but with an expression that made anyone reluctant to talk to her. But once he started talking, Tasya didn't expect him to dare to flirt with her.

After all, who could resist Sankara's charm? Even though he was labeled a badboy, it was because of his predicate that made him even more loved by girls all over Jubels. His popularity was no different from Kafka who was known as boyfriend material.

"Hey! Never mind. You guys are just like kindergarteners!" reprimanded Mrs. Andes because the class that was originally silent turned rowdy. But her next words, made the class crowded again.

"There are still many assignments that you can't complete. How can you be responsible for the feelings of someone's daughter?" continued Mrs. Andes who instantly transformed into a poetic kang.

Among all those laughing, there was one student who was still faithful to showing his flat face. He didn't even look away from the blackboard.

"Okay, everyone, please be quiet and focused. Now answer honestly, whose name does this paper belong to?" asked Mrs. Andes who returned to focus on her assignments.

Everyone looked at each other confused, as did Sankara. But he chose not to bother. After all, the paper was not his. Even he didn't submit the assignment. But when the girl he hated the most in the universe opened her voice, Sankara was shocked.

"That's Sankara's, ma'am. I didn't submit the assignment because I left it at home," Thea lied. Although her statement was hard to believe because Thea was a smart and diligent student, Mrs. Andes still did not tolerate anyone who broke her rules.

"No, you don't. She lied. I intentionally didn't submit the assignment," said Sankara. Both of them looked at each other now.

"Trust me, ma'am. I saw with my own eyes that he collected the assignment but he didn't name it. You know how naughty Sankara is, right? He must have wanted to confuse you," Thea said, convincing the teacher that the paper was indeed Sankara's.

Sankara was no longer evasive. She fell silent with her head filled with guesses as to why Thea was determined to do that. Was this part of the girl's evil plan?

"Okay. You Thea, please get out of my class and do the punishment like my previous rules," Mrs. Andes ordered firmly.

Meanwhile, the others were whispering. Some couldn't believe that Thea didn't submit the assignment. There were also those who guessed that the girl was lying. But what for?

Thea nodded. At the doorway, she turned to Sankara who was still staring at her intently. No one realized that the girl was secretly smiling slightly. Very faintly. Thea knew that the mastermind behind not submitting the assignment was Sankara. Just before the bell of Mrs. Andes' lesson started, the female teacher ordered her to bring the assignments that had been collected one day ago to be corrected in class.

From there she could tell that the name of the boy who hated her was not on the list of papers. Therefore, Thea quickly made an answer paper by deliberately leaving the name blank. Fortunately, the assignment was typed, not written. So the teacher wouldn't suspect her.

Thea was also not without reason why she threw away her answer paper and did not collect it with Sankara's answers. She just wanted to make him happy because she thought her mischievous act had worked. I don't know, everything was confusing now.

Along the corridor, Thea didn't know why she felt like a heroine. But her excitement faded instantly when her eyes caught the presence of Atthera who was running in the wide backyard of the school.

"Thera? What is she doing?" she muttered curiously. Not far from the field, there was Kafka leaning under a large banyan tree.

"Kaf?" she called.

Kafka turned his head, the man's lips forming a crescent curve, "Thea? Are you looking for me?" he asked. Not caring that they were both being stared at by Atthera from the field.

Thea shook her head softly, "I didn't submit the assignment Mrs. Andes. Forgot hehehe," she replied with a horse grin.

"Alright, no need to carry out the punishment. Take it easy, no one will tell you that," he said with concern. Hearing that, Thea complied and sat next to Kafka. They guiltlessly chatted warmly with occasional laughter.

Atthera saw it all. How Kafka chatted freely with Thea. How his girlfriend occasionally tucked the hairs in the ears of other girls who were laughing in front of the man. Atthera saw it all. She wanted to be angry, but she couldn't do that.

If the punishment for getting caught skipping class by the commissary kids was running around the field fifteen times, it was different from Ms. Andes' punishment of having to salute in the hot sun until the break bell rang.

"Damn it," Sankara hissed angrily as he saw Atthera running in the middle of the field, while his girlfriend was with another girl at the same time.

Did Amalthea think her action earlier to save Sankara from punishment had made the hatred in her heart less? No, it didn't. Sankara offered to carry out the punishment under the pretext of his naughty behavior in class.

Without any intention of greeting the two, Sankara passed them both without Kafka and Thea even noticing.

From a fairly close distance, Atthera smiled a little by waving her hand. The girl was staring at someone who was now walking towards her who might be Sankara because Atthera's eyes were starting to glaze over. With staggering steps, her body fell on the cement of the field.

Sankara's eyes rounded perfectly at the sight of Atthera who fell unconscious, "Attheraa!!!" he shouted which managed to make the two people sitting under the banyan tree turn their heads.

"Att! Wake up Att!" worried Sankara. Not caring about anything else, he quickly carried his best friend bridal style.

When Kafka arrived in front of him with hurried steps, Sankara's angry gaze was clearly visible. But not wanting to create something that would cause misunderstanding, she tried to act casual. Even though for the sake of everything, Sankara wanted to hit his half-brother's smooth face.

"Let me take him," Kafka said shamelessly.

Sankara gave him a dismissive look, "You bastard," he scoffed, then walked quickly with Atthera to the infirmary.
