chapter 3
Another day again, wait what? look at the time!!!!.... I'm gonna be late again. I quickly brushed my teeth, ate some breakfast, took my bathe and headed for school.
I stopped by at jade's before anything else. I wouldn't want to miss a whole new morning of gossips and stories.
" Good morning babes I can see you're already ready for school, hop in let my brother give us a ride."
Now that was an offer I could not refuse especially now that I pretty much had the chance of arriving early this Friday.
"Could you believe what happened Tina" jade asked with enthusiasm
"No.... what happened"
"It's that b*tch ray- ray. I heard that Michael broke up with her."
"Are you serious....why" I asked faking concern.
" Idk.... just heard they got broken up, serves that bitch right. she always feels like she's the top dog or something.... so do you know what this means???"
"Well....., what?"
*Michael is now single... " Squeeeeeee (☉。☉)! (☉。☉)!
Sigh..... typical jade
"How is this my concern jade."
"You're actually supposed to be thanking me right now Tina... yikes you're such a kill joy. "
"wait- so you expect her to be happy that your crush broke up with his girlfriend?" jade's brother chilled in. "I really don't understand this generation kids, anymore." he shrugged.
"who you calling kid?" jade, reacted. "you're just older than me with two years brother, and you was once my age."
"yeah I was, like two years ago!" he burst out laughing.
"boys" jade cursed.
"Tell me about it." I made a face at her and she reacted by making a face at me also....
"Stopppppp.... we're here!!. Thanks so much bro " jade thanked her brother. We both stepped out to leave when he suddenly called out "you're welcome Tina" .....boys typical.... always making a scene. I thanked him quickly and we both went inside.
"I think my dumb brother is into you", jade said.
"you think wrong, jade. I mean no offense but, I'm not interested."
"yooo.... non taken. like, why would you want to date my brother. that's weird messed up shit, Tina. it would come between us and I don't want that to happen..."
"yeah, duh?" enough of your brother talk, I'm getting late."
Just like I predicted the " breakup" was the talk of the school. The jealous girls were basically happy now, since they might each get an opportunity to date the almighty Michael. I spotted Ray-ray and her squad by the fountain and, by the rage in her eyes, I could tell she was angry by the breakup.
"what you looking at?" she roared at some girls who giggled passed her.
Hmmm.. whatever, I kinda wondered what would actually make them decide that it was done between them. It wasn't even up to two months they started dating. I'm guessing the answer is simple Michael is a play boy and you don't expect so much from Playboys.
On my way to French class, trying not to be late again on the last day of the week. As luck could have it I bumped into Ray-ray. we collided, scattering books and pens everywhere. I quickly reached out to pick my books and stuffs to just avoid any further embarassments from her.
"The little wormy nerd can't see where she's going" Ray-ray said trying to get my attention.
"Sorry..., I didn't see you there. I was quite in a hurry" I said to avoid any sort of mock crowd.
"Are you tryna say that I'm invisible". a few people were already gathering.
"No that's not what I meant"
"Then what did you mean...bitch"
Owwwwwwwww.....snap....yo!...I could already hear the crowd remarks and that was exactly what I was avoiding.
you'll probably be wondering, why isn't she standing up for herself like a real bitch but, I have reasons. I'm not the kinda girl who pretty much get acquainted with these sorta girls and, I'm pretty popular in my own way.
"Ray-ray!!!!" A familiar voice barked
"Stop that!"...
It was Michael (today couldn't get any worse).
"Why do you think you can just intimidate anybody... apologize this instance."
Now this was getting too annoying for me and I couldn't just take it
"I didn't ask for your help Mr.... I am fine. and ray-ray, I think you need to seriously get your eyes checked." i yelled and left the room. It was bad enough that I was already a laughing stock now, but what was more worse was the fact that I was late to class.
