An unknown amount of years ago:
"You did well today Levantes."
"As always then Cassius."
"You never seem to use your manners."
"Manners? You expect me to use my manners on scum like you people?"
"Quiet Levantes, you wouldn't want your father hearing."
I stayed quiet knowing of my father's punishments.
"9TR6824GX1, the Prodigies are waiting for you." a man said in a white lab coat.
"I'm coming."
I followed the man to a room. As we entered the room I instantly sensed multiple mana signatures.
Looks like they're all here.
After I opened the door, I found as if everyone's attention was directed at me but they all didn't seem to move. My father sat at the end of the table while the Prodigies sat on either side of the table, all six.
"Levantes, have a seat." My father said.
I then took out a seat and sat opposite my father.
Arthur, Avetrium, Lilith, Cynthia, Lambda and Thanatos. The First Generation Prodigies.
"Tomorrow, Omega and Epsilon will fight against DF4Q."
"What about us?"
"The Omicron and Alpha will do something else, something we will discuss when it is appropriate."
"Is that all?"
"Levantes don't be hasty, we're fighting a war here."
"A war against the Aponsi isn't much of a great feat."
"We know but if the line is not straightened others will follow and soon the line's out of control."
"Okay then, if that's all I'm gone."
"Levantes wait, there's more."
"Say it quickly, I'm hungry."
"You may be a Complex Dragon rank but you are still a thirteen year old, run your mouth like that again and you'll regret it."
"We'll see who regrets what." I said as I left the room. I walked to a distance far enough but close enough to listen in the room. My father then left the room and disappeared into another room.
"Why is he even allowed to be a Prodigy?"
"Because he beats us in every aspect, even if we're together, Lambda."
Lambda Almas Laurier, Prodigy of Gamma and Arthur Pendragon, Prodigy of Omicron.
"We shouldn't badmouth each other, instead let's try bonding."
Cynthia Aethoria, Prodigy of Beta.
"Yeah we should, maybe let's try practice with each other and bring my brother along as well."
"Levantes would just destroy us in everything."
Lilith Aster Volomir, Prodigy of Alpha and Thanatos Almas Laurier, Prodigy of Delta.
"We would have a chance if we truly did bond, we could train our physical abilities this time and spar with each other." Arthur suggested.
"I'm not coming."
Avetrium Erebus Volomir, Prodigy of Epsilon.
"Well you do have to bond with Levantes, you two are going on the frontlines together."
"We both prefer to be independent."
"I'll go ask him then."
"You sure Lambda?"
"Yeah, I'm not scared of him like you guys."
"We're not scared."
"Don't lie." She said as she opened the door and closing it behind her.
I walked towards the meeting room and found a girl with black and red hair with purple eyes.
"Oh you're here."
"Yeah, were you looking for me?"
"Yeah but now I found you."
"What do you want then?"
"The others want you to practice with them, they're saying it's a bonding exercise so make a run for it while you can."
"That seems fun."
"Wait...you're going?"
"Yeah."
"What the hell happened when you ate?"
"Nothing, I just want to socialise for once."
"Okay then. I'll go as well."
"Well I can't leave you on your own after what happened."
"Thanks for that."
"No problem."
"Umm...Levantes?"
"Say my name and I'll be there, don't worry Lambda."
"Okay then." Lambda said as she left to join the others who were leaving the meeting room.
The plan's in motion. Lambda is now a useful pawn.
I proceeded towards the training room passing multiple rooms with other children in.
"My liege, why did you seal Levantes's capabilities?"
"Cassius, you're a smart man, what would happen if he had emotions? What cataclysmic things would that child cause? He's already causing havoc with his current abilities."
"I'm sorry for asking."
"It's fine, that boy right now is our only chance of winning the war."
"I'm sure you're not speaking of the war with the Aponsi."
"A war with them cannot even compare to the real war at hand."
"Who knew only less than a dozen of them would lead to this? We are relying on children."
"Not to mention our own children."
"How's she?"
"She's progressing."
"You think it was a good idea to bring her here?"
"I'm sure of it."
"If you say so."
I pushed open a large blank door. The door was white with nothing on it nor did it have any kind of dirt. As I entered the room I felt a thousand eyes on me.
Is this anxiety?
"You came?" Arthur said.
"Of course I would."
"LEVANTES!" A voice said as I felt someone jump on me with great force.
"Oh you're here."
"You could be a little nicer you know."
"I couldn't care less Pandora. Where's Lambda?"
"She's coming, she just needs to run some errands." Arthur replied
"She's thirteen, what errands does she need to run."
"Let's start the training."
"What should we do first?" Lilith asked.
"I'll supervise this." a woman with dark black hair and red eyes said as she approached us.
"Who the f**k are you?"
"Mind your language child."
"May I ask of your identity?"
"My name's Nyx Adynamos."
"Nyx? Like the Primordial?"
"Exactly like the Primordial."
"What're we doing the-"
The roof of the room was completely ripped apart and absorbed into nothingness.
"What the f**k?!"
"GET DOWN!" Someone yelled.
We all dropped to the floor with our hands covering out heads.
"LEVANTES!" A girl shrieked from about a few kilometres away from us.
"Shit! Lambda."
I almost started sprinting towards the shriek but something froze all of us. We all stood in our place. No talking. No moving. No breathing. We all stood silent as if we were dead as we all heard the husky breathing from an unnatural creature.
Fuck! Not them!
The creature opened up the roof as if it was a tin can revealing a much more terror. The sky was blood red and covering it from our vision was a beast. The beast's silhouette was the only thing that was visible, the beast had two red dots for eyes which serach our very souls as they shook and shivered from its malicious aura. The blood eyes watched us as we didn't move. Suddenly, a slight humming sound could be heard from the creature. Not a sound could be heard other than the mysterious hum. The humming sound grew louder...louder...louder...and louder...the sound slowly rose to a crescendo. Then...silence. The sound stopped almost quicker than it started leaving silence in its place.
"Who is your king?" The creature spoke in such a deep voice that it shook us to our core.
Cold sweat dripped from my forehead as the creature spoke again.
"Who is your king?"
"Why do you ask?"
Why am I related to him?
"Are you the king of this place?"
"Yeah I am."
"Avetrium shut up for once."
"Quiet Levantes, I am your king."
"If you are the king of this place then I have an unpaid debt."
"Before you guys fight I need you to answer a question."
"Ask away boy."
"What and who are you?"
"If that is what you have asked I shall answer. I am from what you people call 'The Abyss', we have, your people have a debt which has not been repaid."
"May I ask what that debt was?"
"A soul."
"A soul? Isn't that a bit small for someone like you?"
"That soul was not a normal one, he cheated us when we gave him power in return for his soul but instead we haven't received his soul."
"Who's soul was it?"
"I do not know the name but he was a man of great power, great strength."
"Someone along the lines of Laurier?"
"Is he still alive, boy?"
"That family line was dead a long time ago, the only people with that name are two people, children."
"I need their blood then, their souls for their ancestor's mistake."
"Hold your horses there cosmic giant, why did you give that man power in the first place?"
"Does your ears not work boy?"
"What I meant is, there are over a thousand souls before you and you want only one?"
"That one soul is worth more things you can fathom."
"What made that soul so special?"
"That soul knew our existence causing us to expose our existence to you today."
"Is your existence being known so severe?"
"It is, a child such as yourself would not understand."
"Really-"
"That's enough."
A man walked into the room with his hands behind his back along with guards following him, the man had dark black hair and red eyes with an appearance looking about in his mid fifties.
"Erebus."
"How do you know me?"
"You were with him, Laurier."
Oh shit! [Erebus's thoughts]
"I can tell you that it was not my fault, I didn't know his true intentions."
"I believe you Erebus however, we have not received our price."
"Wait a minute...you got scammed?" I said as I burst out laughing.
"It can be out in that way but it is not a laughing matter."
"Say all you want at the end of the day you got scammed."
"SHUT THE F**K UP BOY!"
Erebus's voice sent us to our silence again.
"Well as you see, our leader died and I don't know why you didn't get your soul but that seems like no reason to kill my lab rats."
"Reason? Are you so naive that you think I wouldn't kill without a reason? Wake up Erebus, I am only one and not you and not any of your lab rats stand a chance against me."
"Then you can see that we're telling the truth."
"I'll take matters in my own hands then if you're not cooperating."
The beast crushed the labs sectors with the pressure of his arms alone.
"RUN!"
Erebus ran and so did everyone else.
What a cataclysmic event. I'm not dying today.
The creature revealed its face. The term 'fear' didn't even begin to express what I felt. A devil like beast crushed the lab killing anything inside or around. My heart pounded inside my body as the hearts of many were crushed.
I looked towards my right to see the woman who wanted to train us look back at me, confusion was written on her face along with fear but not towards the cosmic giant but to me.
"How did you...know what he said?"
I tilted my head to the side in confusion as I looked at her.
"What do you mean?"
"The language it spoke...it wasn't of the demon tongue."
"I learnt every language to exist at the age of six."
"Not that language...that isn't from our world."
I looked at the woman knowing what just happened.
What? What does this mean?
"Are you even from this world?"
"Well my brother understood it as well and so did everyone else."
"No, only your family could understand, no one else."
I do recall that no one else had spoken up before or after my brother...they all did seem confused or scared because they didn't even know what it was saying in the first place-
As I was thinking something almost hit me if I didn't dodge it. Suddenly as I jumped in the air dodging the rubble floating in the air and circling a point like a tornado, I felt that I no longer felt the air resistance on me. I looked towards what was the sky to see the cosmic giant holding me with what seemed to be telekinesis. I soon reached a point where we were face to face.
"How is it you understand me?"
"Not gonna lie, I don't know."
"Are you aware of the possibility of someone knowing our language without learning it?"
"Nope."
"To put it simply, you are the third while your brother is the second."
"That's pretty rare."
"Rare? I've watched this world's history from its start. I will have to take you to my home for an experiment."
"No."
"Are you defying me child?"
"Yes, yes I am."
"If you defy me you'll experience the pressure of a hundred black holes pulling you apart."
"Rookie numbers, highest I've gone to was twelve thousand black holes."
"Very well then, you'll experience a million of those then."
"How are you feeling threatened by a thirteen year old?"
"Listen here, demon, one of my kind is enough to destroy your whole existence without trying."
"I'm stronger than I look you know."
"Let's test that." The giant said as he clenched his hands.
As I felt the pressure of more than a trillion black holes I still tried to resist. His telekinesis grew stronger with every second as I resisted while death grew closer.
"Stop."
Everything then stopped.
"You don't want to kill me."
"Why is that boy?"
"I know how this world started and I know how it ends."
"Why should I care?"
"The being who destroys this world destroys yours."
"Tell me the name of that being and I'll spare you."
"The name of the being? Fine then, the name of that being is Lexus Novel Arnoux."
"As I am a being of my word I will spare you for now."
As the cosmic being put me back down to the ground I was approached my Pandora.
"Are you okay?" She said as she checked if I was hurt anywhere.
"I'm fine." I said as I caught Nyx looking at me from an angle.
It's set in motion, my plan.
