"Hey Angie, where's the closest weapons shop?" Rowan asked. "We're closing in on it so stop asking me that and also stop calling me that. We're are not that close," Angelique said somewhat annoyed. This didn't bother Rowan whatsoever and he kept looking at all the shops around him.
There was quite a huge amount of shops in the area. There's a clothing shop, potions shop, antique shop, a book store, a hairdresser and of course, the weapons shop. Looking at the weird shapes on the board, Rowan felt grateful to Zelly's mother for teaching him to read.
The signboard said *The Japhta Weaponry Shop* and there was a slogan too. It read *No Refunds*. Suddenly, Rowan felt he needed to be weary of this shop. Upon entering, a bell sounded through the shop.
Rowan looked towards the desk and saw a short guy standing behind it. Angie waved to the guy and then went to look at some bows and arrows. 'She probably wants to be an archer,' Rowan thought before he moved to the swords.
'If you're are looking for a sword, we could look for the Kusanagi Sword. I hid a bunch of things from the Naruto world in this world,' Steve said which left Rowan baffled. He didn't expect to be able to get Naruto weaponry in this world.
'I can feel the Kusanagi Sword close by so we should probably try to get it as soon as possible but for now we can use a short sword. Also try to get some light armour for easier movement,' Steve gave his advice which made it easier for Rowan to choose equipment.
Rowan picked up a steel alloy short sword with which he practiced swinging. He also went ahead and bought some leather armour. It gave protection to the upper and lower body but none for the head. He also got a scabbard to hang the sword vertically behind his hips.
Rowan took the sword and armour to the counter to pay for it. He looked around for Angelique and saw her standing with a bow in hand and her eyes closed. Rowan could feel a sudden change in atmosphere around her.
"There must've been a spirit in that elven bow and No Bucks must've resonated with it," a voice came from behind Rowan. "If you want to impress her, paying for the bow would be the best way to do that," the voice continued.
Rowan fished out a gold coin and placed it on the counter. "I also need some weapons custom made," he said before placing some blueprints on the counter with another gold coin to insure that nothing but the best materials will be used.
After looking at the blueprints for a while, the man gave Rowan a purse and muttered something about change before focusing on the blueprints again. "Come back in a week and tell No Bucks that she can have a dozen steelhead arrows on the house."
Rowan wondered why the owner kept calling Angelique No Bucks but it must have something to do with her window-shopping. He headed her way just when she came out of her trance and looked at the bow with mixed feelings.
"The owner said that the bow and a dozen steelhead arrows are on the house," Rowan said which made Angelique's eyes glow. She grabbed the bow and arrows before running out the door screaming something about no refunds.
Rowan followed behind Angelique and found her not so far away with the same glow in her eyes. It looked like she couldn't wait to test out the bow but there was still another place he wanted to go to.
They made their way to the clothing shop that was close by and the signboard caught Rowan's eye. It read *The Japhta Clothing Shop*. Another no refunds slogan came into his eyes before they entered the shop.
Rowan looked towards the counter but there was no one there. He didn't know what he was expecting after looking at the signboard, maybe a twin or something close to it. He felt that it would seem logical.
Angelique tried on a pair of gloves before pulling the bowstring on her bow. Rowan went to the counter since he wasn't looking for any new clothes. Just as he was reaching the counter, a woman got up from behind it.
"You want something special made right. What did you have in mind?" the woman asked before Rowan could say anything. He just placed another stack of papers on the counter. He placed a gold coin next to the stack before hearing the woman mutter something about a week and gloves on the house.
Again Angelique ran out of the shop yelling at the top of her lungs, "No Refunds!" Rowan finally felt like going back and getting some food since he planned on going hunting the next day.
"Hey Angie, let's go get something to eat before heading back okay?" Rowan said to an Angelique that nodded her head whilst fiddling with her bow. He picked the closest restaurant, ate some ramen noodles and headed towards Angelique's home.
When they got there, her father was already home and was talking to a woman who looked just like Angelique. Angelique said a quick hello before speeding to her bedroom. The woman signalled Rowan closer before vocally giving him a tour of the house.
"Hello, I am Angelica. My husband tells me you will be staying with us. We're currently in the living room. The kitchen is in the hallway, next to our living room. Then my room and Angelique's room are across from each other and then yours and the bathroom, any questions?"
Angelica was looking at Rowan but he had nothing specific to ask. "Okay, food will be done in half an hour so you can check out your room whilst I prepare the food."
Rowan found himself in a shiny room. He placed his clothes on the bed and laid down on the bed. He closed his eyes and thought about all the places he saw today. As a smile appeared on his face, he drifted off to the dream world.
