"Dungeons has been around for centuries. They appear anywhere and only God knows when. All we know is that after appearing, demon beasts start coming out in bulk unless someone goes in and destroys it's centre. For one to appear outside our gate is bad luck," Arthur explained.
Rowan nodded before asking why they called for him. They immediately asked if he wouldn't mind taking care of Angelique whilst she fought the demon beasts. This of course led to Angelique being angry at her parents for doubting her skills.
Since everyone, except Kurama, was in the kitchen, Angelica decided to dish up so that the food doesn't get cold. When it came time to do the dishes everyone disappeared but before Angelique could gain some distance, a hand grabbed her.
"Hey Angie. When last did you wash dishes?" A voice whispered next to her ear. Disheartened, Angelique started washing the dishes. Next to her stood the person who the voice belonged to and he had a bright smile on his face.
As Angelique washed up, Rowan dried off and although the atmosphere was harmonic, the silence was really awkward. Rowan decided to liven up the atmosphere with a few questions. It wasn't hard for him to think of a question.
"How's it coming with that bow, Angie?" the question caused Angelique's eyes to brighten as she started bragging about the lighting spirit that bonded with her. Then she started rambling about how she struggles with controlling it's power.
It turns out that every time she pours lightning energy into an arrow and release it, it destroys everything in its path in an instant. She sometimes even destroys the arrow itself and all the focus on control makes it hard to aim.
"Why don't you just input the energy upon releasing the arrow. There will be time for enough energy to enter the arrow to enhance it's speed and power and still be able to land where it is suppose to," Rowan gave some advice which caused Angelique to go quiet.
She thought about what Rowan said, finished washing up and walked out the door quietly. Rowan had great expectations from her for the next day. Since it was still night, Rowan went to climb in next to Kurama.

The next day came and Rowan and Angelique headed off after having a hardy breakfast. When they got to the gate, it was already closed and all the archers stood on the walls. Angelique went up some stairs leading to the top of the wall. Rowan stayed with the warriors on the ground.
There was a lot of tension as people awaited the demon beasts arrival. Rowan could suddenly feel energy gathering above their heads. Multiple small balls formed in the and began floating over the walls.
"These orbs are recording orbs and they will be used to keep track of how many beasts you kill and what level they are at depending on their crystals. After this, all shall be compensated accordingly," a voice that wasn't loud but unexpectedly clear appeared in everyone's ears.
Rowan could feel the determination of the people around him rise. Then he heard a call from above the wall. Arrows were released into the air after the call. The released arrows created a type of blanket as it covered the sky before disappearing behind the wall.
Whilst Rowan was awaiting the biggest battle of his life so far, Angelique was firing away at the enemies that was coming in the distance. The amount of demon beasts that was emerging from the forest was never-ending.
As the demon beasts got closer, people wearing robes walked forward. There were also some who only wore some light armour. They started muttering different things before holding out their arms. Fireballs, waterfalls, lightning bolts, wind arrows and more different types of magic appeared.
The magic rained down on the demon beasts and caused immense damage. The bow in Angelique's hand vibrated as if wanting to cause destruction too. Angelique aimed the bow straight at a beast in the front row.
As released her arrow, lightning energy poured into it. All anybody saw was a flash. The beast in the front row and everything behind it was destroyed. Everyone's gaze landed on Angelique and she couldn't help but feel shy.
"That's the spirit!" an old man in a wizard's robe screamed before throwing out another fireball. Morale was sky high. The wizard's mana which is the energy they used in their spells were rapidly declining so they stepped back before the archers launched another attack.
The demon beasts finally closed in on the wall and the gate was opened. Groups of warriors rushed the demon beasts. Even flying demon beasts were spotted. Luckily, there were more experienced archers to get rid of the flying beasts.
Rowan went to the closest beast whilst using a slight amount of chakra to use the body flicker technique. He slashed their necks and pierced their brains through their eyes. He felt no remorse cause he knew they would kill a baby in the blink of an eye.
These beasts had no desire except to kill what was in front of them. Rowan showed off a shocking display of speed and swordsmanship. One hit, one kill. No unnecessary movements from either his body or the sword.
As Rowan closed in on the forest whilst killing the beasts, he could feel the energy from the dungeon's portal gate. He closed in on the portal gate and left a trail of dead demon beasts behind him. He went closer and closer before he realised something was wrong.
Rowan tried getting away from the gate but something was sucking him in. The sucking force caused techniques like the body flicker technique to be useless. Rowan reached for a tree and held on. He slashed a message on the ground and let go of the tree.
As Rowan got absorbed into the portal, he could faintly hear someone telling him to brace himself.
