Audrey took Prisca's horrible advice, actually ghosting Lucas because she was too shy to meet him in person. She thought it would be the best plan ever but Audrey was unaware she was getting deep into something she wouldn't ever be able to come out of.
After the gym session, she pledged to not pick up his calls, Lucas who was unaware of her train of thoughts tried calling her several times but he just couldn't reach her. It wasn't that Audrey didn't see his calls, she just decided to put her phone on airplane mode, the coping mechanism her brain had formulated while she was thinking over it.
As it was a Sunday, Audrey reluctantly got up, emotionally tired and physically stressed, walking to her closet to pick the clothes she was going to wear the next day. While she was sorting her clothes, she suddenly thought of ways to avoid going in the car with Lucas. She went to sleep soon after, unaware of the storm she had started.
Lucas on the other hand walked from his bathroom entrance to the furthest window several times with his phone in hand. He had tried to call Audrey several times but it kept saying 'the number you dialed is currently switched off, please try again later!, in the annoying monotone voice.
He was so frustrated after several attempts, it was a tiny string that kept him from tossing the phone to the nearest wall out of frustration. However as he thought of what actually happened in the gym, he suddenly remembered one important thing. He paused, "wait, I know where she lives!", he said with a wide smile plastered on his face.
Lucas went to sleep soon after he had thought of what seemed to be the perfect plan. He woke up the next day dressed in one of his best suits, as he suddenly thought of the notion; dress to impress. Who would have thought that the owner of a fortune five hundred company, who was usually cold and aloof would be doing the silliest things to impress the girl he liked.
He smiled at the story, it was somehow similar to Cinderella, but it was just that this Cinderella had a more banging body and she wasn't some damsel in distress. " Good morning sir!", Craig greeted as Lucas settled down on the dining table to have breakfast. "Good morning Craig!", Lucas said patting his assistant on the back.
" Go ahead today, I have a very important task to complete today!", Lucas said as he put food on his plate, "But sir, I don't understand, you can't go out in public without your security detail!", Craig said trying to remind Lucas of the annoying Papparazi in the city. However what the assistant didn't know was that Lucas didn't care about Paparazzi, he had a very important assignment to complete.
" I know that Craig, that's why I'm taking a minimal ride!", Lucas said with a smile before he continued with his food. Craig wondered what was up with his boss, the first unusual thing was his smile, then the tone, which was followed by the fact that he wanted to take a different car to work.
Lucas ate breakfast in a rush as he was ecstatic to surprise Audrey, he took one of his black cars, something minimal as he had told Craig and used the fastest route to get to Audrey's house.
"Remind me again!", Audrey said as Prisca handed her her handbag, " avoid him at all costs!", Prisca replied, pausing to see a signal from Audrey that she was listening to her , Audrey nodded before Prisca continued. "Reject his calls and most importantly run away if you even see him coming!", Pearl said.
" Got it!", "okay, now I helped you pack your lunch, it's in the kitchen, why don't you go ahead to pick it up and I open the door?!", Prisca asked before Audrey nodded and headed to the kitchen. While Audrey headed to the kitchen to pick her food, Prisca headed to the front door to open it when she saw Lucas coming out of an unfamiliar car, Prisca panicked and closed the door without making any loud noise, as she didn't want to be caught by Lucas.
"Audrey!!", Prisca called out as she screamed, " he's here!", she continued, fidgeting. "What, who's here?", Audrey asked confused as she didn't know who Prisca was talking about. Prisca gulped still antsy as she replied Audrey, " Lucas, Lucas is here!", she said as she watched Audrey's eyes open wide.
"What, what do we do, how am I supposed to avoid him??", Audrey asked, Prisca suddenly came up with a solution, " the back!!", she exclaimed, "quick, go through the back door!", she continued. Audrey didn't need an invitation to pass through the back door, she suddenly paused when she remembered something, " wait!!!", she exclaimed before Prisca stopped behind her, "what are you going to tell him if he eventually knocks!".
Prisca smiled at Audrey before she said, " ohh Audrey, experts like me have true talent, it's simple, I'll just tell him you've gone to work!", "ohh, alright, bye then!!", Audrey said before she speed walked in her heels.
Lucas had thought he came to Audrey's house early, he parked in from of her house with a satisfied smirk on his face. On his way to her house, he might have drove over something sharp and it appeared that his front tire was punctured, so he went out to check.
What he didn't know was that Prisca had come out at the exact same time to inform Audrey about his unplanned arrival. Lucas got back in the car, waiting and waiting until he couldn't take it anymore. He checked the time again and came out of the car, he walked to the front door and knocked.
It was the same lady from the previous day that opened the door again, he couldn't peep through the space as it would appear rude so he simply asked for Audrey. His mood and facial expression however took a complete three sixty turn as he headed to his car and drove off.
