"Let's furlough about yesterday's topic. I'm on a walk to an Amusement park."
"What are you murmuring, Sister Moon?"
"Nothing, lad."
So. Yeah. I let Race have Miko but I'm puzzled to say this to Mom. Like, what luck! She will surely kick me out of the house, not even a single second will take to make me homeless. and there will be another person beside me – I'm not gonna be single anyhow.
"I'll drag that Miko with me out of the house."
"What you said, Moon? Sorry, I didn't pay attention."
"It's none of your business, Winter."
Standing at the gate of the park. I stared right in front of it starting from the top to bottom of the long, wide gate. Ha… How long! Before I could touch the newly painted gate, my sight fell on a pamphlet flickering by the air that was pulling it out deliberately – glued to the wall. One, two, three – I was right standing at the pamphlet written, "Basketball match… Woohoo! Basketball match! In this town! That's fabulous!" I was over the moon! For the first time ever, this town is organizing a basketball match. Though this place is mainly noted for tourism, there are no organized sports over here.
"Oi, Girl! You're loud! Slow down!" I hate it. My sight fell on the voice and I found a guy with dyed hair in blonde, big and large dragon tattoos around his arms following up to his neck. A white shirt – printed dragon on it and a jacket upon it. Striped jeans with a baseball bat in his hand. From which corner of the world does he belong? Weirdo!
"Aye! Joshua! Is this how you talk with girls?!" I was down on the ground thinking from which angel did these idiots get to know each other?! Winter already knows this bad guy called Joshua? "S-Senior Winter? I-I-I was just…"
"Shut, Joshua. Don't try to cover yourself, I've heard your loud voice."
"I…I'm sorry, Senior Winter. I'll obey all the girls!"
"Not to mention me! Apologize my Woman!" Huh? What?? What the heck?! His… Woman?
"What?!" I and Joshua opened our mouths wide in shock. Looked at each other's faces and then back to Winter. "I-I… mean. My girl-friend. Aren't you my girl-friend, Moon?" Eh?
"Ah." Getting to our senses. We both again looked at each other. Abruptly, Joshua bowed to me and screamed.
"I'm sorry, Senior Winter's girlfriend!" Nah! Not girlfriend, it's girl-friend!
"There's a gap between girlfriend, Joshua. Please not mention that again."
"Sure, Sister Moon. By the way, are you eventually interested in a Basketball tournament too?" I immediately nodded with a croissant smile. He smiled back and responded, "Even my Brother too. He's the booster in his high school." Wow! I must face his Bro then!
"Isn't your Brother on working days? How is he gonna participate in the tournament?" Winter immediately tossed a question on Joshua.
"No, Senior Winter. He's back with his new girlfriend~!" Awh. His voice was so dragging. This guy… A smile on my face and then snatched the pamphlet – directly ran into the amusement park~~!
A fresh air blew above me, cherishing my hair. Ha…, how would Tangwen… do these days? Maybe my hate lowered her head down and her love… wholly dropped me into the river… of her loaves of bread-like soft heart and love stored for me since her childhood. Sigh… a sort of sensation about her got me into an ocean side to have a tremendous view as if I'm viewing her from an aloof and indifferent. Is that apathy in her for me or… just an excuse?
I'm puzzled! But I wanna make it a stone's throw in between our untagged relationship. Yet… It's not that easy to bounce onto such a tall tower where she is hidden. Hidden from my infuriated demeanour, hidden from hostile manner, hidden from my hate, and hidden from everything that I did which often pulled her in negativity.
Am… am I missing her now?
This simple loneliness is too much to mention just simple.
"That's a mates game. Do you guys wanna try, Sir?"
Nah. Nah, this question isn't either for me or Winter. It was… for some other couple that appeared in front of me when my sight hadn't yet fallen on them. Before I could make a connection there was an exciting voice roaring in my ears.
"Hey, Winter! It's been a long time Bro!"
Then I flew on the opposite person. Eh – I wasn't so moved to say I was astonished but I was. I couldn't trust my eyes for what it was showing! And…, "Millou! With… Tangwen!? Huh?" I slipped my mouth. It escaped, somehow.
Tangwen, holding Millou's arm, smiling at me or Winter. I don't know that. She was looking drop-dead gorgeous! I… I couldn't believe that she lost feelings for me in the end. So… she read that letter… I'm going to be… I don't know how to explain my thoughts. Sometimes positive but then negative. Might not be a stranger to her… but she,
"Hi, you sweet couple." But she proved to me – I'm purely a stranger to her. "Mention not," I said calmly, rubbernecking at her stunning face. She got prettier lately… as pretty as the ladies in the magazines, I do see in my leisure time. "Hi, young lady. Myself Winter Page. Nice to please you." How formal! Millou and Tangwen laughed heartily. But I was quiet looking at them… why am I moody now? I must be happy for Tangwen's pristine and immaculate boyfriend. Though I couldn't find one – she got it, right?
"I'm Tangwen Alfie. Nice to meet you too, Winter and…" She looked at me and forwarded her hand to shake but stuck in as if she didn't know me. Fine. I had forgotten that I'm an outsider now. "I'm Moon." I didn't forward my hands rather I inserted them into my sweater pockets. "Thank you for your respect, Ms. Tangwen but I don't move so easily with strangers." She deliberately pulled her hand down, passing a prosaic look at me.
Even that romantic gaze passed away. I smiled to myself and looked at Millou. "Millou, how was your journey with your girlfriend?" Winter was surprised and just kept on blinking at me. "You know Millou, Dear Moon?" I immediately shook.
"We were neighbours, isn't it, Millou?"
"Umm…, Yeah. Yeah, We were… good neighbours, Winter."
He enunciated words tagging his fierceness in his eyes. Not even looking into Winter's eyes when speaking but into me. You have an infuriate at me, Millou. I'm proud to have such ridiculous enemies. Enemies must spoil their opponent's life and hard work but my enemies just try to show that they are fierce for me but don't show it in action, for sure!
Haiz. "Eh? Are you participating in the Basketball tournament too?"
Is he too? No, no. "Don't tell me even you're too-"
"Yeah. I'm participating too. Are you?" Forget about the tournament now!
"Nah! Not at all."
"Then why are you carrying the pamphlet, Moon? If you're not into it."
"It's none of your business, Millou."I looked at the pamphlet that trashed it into the nearby dustbin. Chasing out of the way, pushing and nudging everyone. Far away from the words yelping my names in loud. So far away. I didn't break off my legs until I realized I was in speed and gonna dash into a cutie pie-like kid.
Oh, No, No, No! "Watch out, Girl!" A huge hand suddenly caught my hand and pulled me away from the kid – just few inches and I would crash the kid. Ouf, somehow someone saved both of us. An abrupt pull. And my face was exactly in front of an glamorous face.
"A-ah? I'm… sorry for trouble." He instantly shoved my hand. Rude! "You were to hit my kid, Girl! Be careful!" I was numb, blinking at the man confusingly. Such a young face is wedded and even had a kid! I just… I just can't believe it!
"Oh, Dear Chaneeg! Are you fine, Dear?"
"Uh. Yes, Mommy."
As I rubbernecked, I caught a glimpse of a young and elegant woman being worried about her kid. Dusting out her kids dress, she presently stood arrogantly holding her kid and looked so fiercely at me.
"How can you be so reckless, Girl?! This place isn't a race track to run!"
How noisy! I can't even fight this lady if I do her husband, a bodybuilder, will surely show my exact way to hell. Just only apologize doesn't work or not – I'm not even sure! Ahh!
"I'm sorry, Young Madam and Sir." I can bow for now. Haiz! I never did this! But why today!
"It's okay, Older Sister~ I know you didn't do it intentionally~" I declared as I just realized a bastard in such a well-known tournament. Boohoo! But… When I was in Thailand I didn't even see once coming to the Basketball court. Does he even know how to play? Or he would hide…and go to the basketball court?! Oh, no no!
Shh! "Then, why is that distressed on your face? And a pamphlet?" I put a glace on the pamphlet and squeezed it aggressively. "Do you have any problem with me, Millou?"
Tension raised between us. Tangwen tightens her fingers around Millou's arm and the same thing reflects on Winter.
"Don't raise stress on both of you guys." I didn't reflect on Tangwen's nor Winter's. Looking at Tangwen I answered Winter, "Let's better leave-"
"Hey! Bro!" A voice distracted everyone and pulled their sights towards the voice. It was that bad guy, Joshua, again. But I wasn't able to figure out whether to whom he addressed Bro.
When it comes to Winter he would call Senior Winter not Bro or sometimes he might have addressed him Bro. Maybe I didn't ever note it down. "Joshua? What are you here for?"
Millou? Millou knows Joshua? That means… The Bro was…"Brother Millou, it was a surprise for me too!" Brother Millou? I…I just can't trust what I'm seeing and listening! Damn, everything is up and down! Like how?! Sh!
"Oh? Hi, Sister Moon. It's just been a few mins since we met and I began feeling bored without annoying you."
"Is that so, Joshua? Aren't you driving crazy now?"
"That's indeed, Sister Moon! Well, I literally forgot to introduce you to my future sister-in-law and my Brother."
"Uhm!" I quickly raised my palm in front of his face saying,
"We just got together, Joshua. You don't have to give me a summary now, the story is already interesting." I said strictly.
"Ah…, I think the place's too hot to breathe."
